In July 2025, our family of five took a 7-day luxury lodge safari. It was a fantastic trip and experience! Communication with Marcus was excellent and clear from the start. Marcus made a few adjustments at our request, making it exactly what we envisioned. The accommodations were fantastic. Evans was our driver all week. Traffic and travel are challenging in Kenya, but Evans didn't take any unnecessary risks. In the parks, Evans ensured we had a beautiful view of the wildlife several times; a real front-row seat! We saw and did so much beauty. Kenya is truly fantastic, and Great Horizon Trails made it a trip we'll never forget!

They completely ruined our safari experience
We booked a 6 days safari and it was a complete disaster. The organization was a mess from the beginning, we were 2 people and since they want to fill the cars they join people who don’t even have the same schedule for the safari, so a lot of time was wasted waiting for people to switch cars and arguing about the planning. The guide, called Benson, was the most arrogant and incompetent person I’ve met in a long time. He didn’t give us enough information about the planning nor about the animals and vegetation. The car was in undrivable conditions, the battery was failing even before the safari and then on our way to Serengeti we had 4 different break downs (flat tire, lost the rear fuel tank, electrical problems with some fuse…). All these technical issues not only made us waste a lot of time (2 out of the 3 days in Serengeti we couldn’t do game drive to see animals because we were either stranded in the middle of nowhere or waiting for the car to be fixed) but also ruined our safari experience and made us feel very unsafe. So please, I'd recommend that you don't book a safari with this company.

Uganda is a very interesting country. Animals, nature, various activities, etc. are very rich. My two guides take good care of me and are also very humourous people. I will not be bored and lonely when travelling alone. They are very professional, responsive and will give good suggestions according to the actual situation. The boss will try his best to meet the needs of customers and have a sense of responsibility. We need such a travel agency.

Just one of a kind experience with Blends of Africa. I travelled to Naivasha for a getaway and all I can say is wow! Wow! Wow! The Service, the planning, the activities-boat riding, getting closer to the wild by cycling-what an adventure at Hells Gate- and the accommodation choice was spectacular. Thanks to the team for coordinating the lunch at Naivasha Kongoni Lodge, which to me was amazing because I had the opportunity to try/explore different hotels and their offerings. The budget was favourable and the team kept in touch throughout the safari which made me feel sure and in the right hands. Y'all need to try planning with blends if youre thinking of a safari or even a getaway of your own preference. I guarantee you the best experience!
