The guide/driver was excellent. The hotel arrangements and travel efficiency can be improved.
The guide was an expert on almost everything of the Safaris. His services and timeliness was excellent. Overall the day plans combined with hotel locations can be improved so more time can be allocated to game drives. Three of the five hotels are above average and two are below. Hotel services are all good.

Our Safari with Isaya from Mama Savana was a fantastic experience. Highly r
We bought this tour vis Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris as we initially looked into a tour covering both Mara and Serengeti. Mama Savana was the tour operator during the full trip as we ended up prioritizing Serengeti/Tanzania.
We had great and very responsive communication with Betty from Perfect Wilderness Tours & Safari during the planning of the tour. And prior to tour start we also had a brief but comforting phone call with Alex from Mama Savana.
Despite the great Trip advisor reviews (the reason for initiating dialogue) I was still a bit nervous of booking directly with a smaller local company. But absolutely no need to be concerned. We got name and contact info to our guide before our trip started and when we landed in the small airstrip of Kogatende, Isaya was there to greet us and the adventure began. Isaya is a highly experienced guide who both knows his way around and is well connected in the guide community. And has talent and trained eyes to spot where to go next to get fantastic views. No wonder he has been guide for animal photographers.
We benefited from this numerous times: from our front row position witnessing a crossing to the time we were surrounded by a big group of passing elephants - and they did not mind us because the car was placed in the right spot with engine off well in advance of the elephants reaching the game drive road - and to the many close up encounters with the lions, leopard, cheetahs and their cubs. We appreciated he was attentive to giving us great experiences while paying attention to the animals’ needs as well.
The car was well kept and equipped with AC and a fridge to keep beverages cold. Isaya also had great binoculars we used alongside our own to get close up views (and photos).
A single small advice is to walk through the itenary with the guide up front - we had a brief confusion on duration of our stay in Serengeti - maybe due to booking via Perfect Safari but operated by Mama Savana. But easily sorted as soon as we realized cause of the confusion.
Five star to both Perfect Wilderness Tours & Safari, Mama Savana and our great Guide Isaya.

Excellent Kenya Safari
We all thoroughly enjoyed our 9-day Kenya safari with Dedan. He was a wonderful driver and guide. It's magical how he got us to just the right spot before the animals appeared, and amazing how knowledgeable he is about all the plants, animals and geography of the area. The company was very easy to work with and all the arrangements went smoothly. Our accommodations were excellent, especially the tented cabins inside the parks. I highly recommend this company.

Logan. probably the most passionate and friendly tour guide we’ve ever seen, so as the company
The company has great patience helping us to arrange everything before trip. They gave really bargain price as well. The service they gave even exceeded what we expected. Logan- our tour guide tried his best to do the game drive chasing almost all animals for us. We’ve collect all the big 5 in this trip because of him. Although we did go for the top package, the operator still give us really quality meals not like the other company with dry sandwich lunch box. Make us feel really comfortable and able to enjoy the safari experience. Will definitely go back again and with the same company.

An Amazing Safari experience with Shafino!
Shafino made our Safari a magical experience. With over 25 years as a guide, he is knowledgeable and passionate about the game drives. He shared a wealth of information about the animals and the parks we visited. He has a keen eye for sightings, always anticipated the moves of each animal and parked or maneuvered in the best place to view them. We saw all of the big nine park animals plus so many more. One morning we saw over forty lions in various prides, it was unbelievable! Shafino has a love for the Serengeti that makes you appreciate every aspect of it. Truly, this was a once in a lifetime experience, but it wouldn't have happened without our amazing guide! Thank you Shafino!!

A great Safari with Meru Slopes
We took a 8 day Serengeti and migration tour with Meru Slopes and had a great time. Shadrack who prepared our itinerary was patient and professional in helping us with an itinerary that fully met our requests. Our driver and guide, Domician, is very knowledgeable and knows all the animals an plants. He was constantly in communication with fellow drivers to get first hand info about the animals and try hard to get a good spot for us to take pictures. We were lucky to see the wildbeest migration which was magnificent. All the tented camps were nice, food and service was super good. This trip was amazing! Asante sana!

Great Safari trip
We did a 10-day tour in Kenya. It was an amazing experience with an outstanding team of John, our tour guide and Sadrack, our driver. John has deep knowledge of wildlife that made every game driver thrilling.
I found Apodiformes Adventures from Safari Bookings website; Silas reached out promptly after I submitted my safari request and he always answered all my questions promptly. Initially, I had some reservations about the tour because it required a 40% deposit up front and the balance paid in cash on the first day. When John picked us up, his professionalism helped me to feel more at ease and began to trust the tour company.
In the midway of our trip, there were some miscommunications on our lunch and game drive, John and Silas stepped in and resolved the issue right away.
We were thrilled to spot all of the 'Big Five'—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—as well as 'Ugly Five'—hyena, vulture, wildebeest, marabou stork, and warthog.
Witnessed the Great Migration is truly the pinnacle of a safari experience.

Exceptional service
They are very attentive to your needs, I dealt with Vera who took time to understand my needs and was able to curate the right package that would meet my family's expectations since we needed a beach and Safari trip in regards to customer service and value for money, She kept in touch all the way through our trip and even after to make sure we were fully satisfied. Would definitely use Peaks and Safaris for my future travel

Amazingly helpful and efficient: thank you Melanie!
We had the most incredible 2 week trip to Botswana: staying in three stunning Desert and Delta lodges. Honestly, every aspect of the trip massively exceeded our expectations…it was the perfect adventure! The wildlife and scenery are extraordinary, and we could not have been looked after better by the kind, generous staff at every lodge.
Loved the trip to Vic Falls and cruise on the Zambezi at the start too, which made a lovely relaxing start to the holiday.
Massive thank you to Melanie from Pembury: the itinerary was perfect, and we can’t wait to visit again!!

Informed birder who knew much about Namibia
Our tour of Namibia, July 9-23, 2025; Kubwa Five Safari
We made a whirlwind tour of Namibia beginning in Windhoek. Our 2nd night was in the Kalahari desert where we went on an evening game drive and a sundowner with wonderful views over the acacia savannah. We then drove to Le Mirage in the Namibian desert for 2 nights including an incredible hot-air balloon ride over the desert. From there we drove to the coast for a boating tour of Walvis Bay and about 400,000 southern fur seals, and 100,000 Cape Cormorants. The afternoon was spent on a hair-raising tour of the dunes south of Walvis Bay in SUVs driven by skilled dune drivers. The next day we drove to Fwyfelfontain in the interior famed for extensive San petroglyphs and rock etchings, and on an evening game drive we found a herd of desert elephants that we followed to a waterhole. We visited a Damara community museum where we learned about customs of the Damara people and were treated to a community dance. From there we drove to Opuwo where we visited a Himba village where an interpreter helped us to communicate with Himba women. Our next night was at Epupa Falls on the Kunene River, Angola border. Our guide took us to the edge of the falls which was quite spectacular, and again a sundowner overlooking the falls. Then we returned via Opuwo to Hobatere Lodge on the western boundary of Ethosha National Park where we observed several lions at a waterhole adjacent to camp. We spent one night inside the park at Halali and observed black rhinos visiting a waterhole at night. Three days in Etosha were stunning with many waterhole visits with vast herds of wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, kudu, lion, black and blue wildebeest, ostrich, and of course, thousands of springbok. Our last night was outside the Park in a wonderful Mushara bushcamp, our favourite accommodations of the entire trip. From there we spent a day at the Cheetah Conservation Fund property where we met with students and researchers at their excellent research facility. Our final night was at the spectacular Mt Etjo Safari Lodge where we tracked white rhinos on foot and encountered vast herds of wildlife including lions. Our tracking guide was brilliant.
Our guide, John, was a superb birder and naturalist. He made the trip truly rewarding.
