Unforgettable Safari Experience with African Big Cats Safari
This was my second time traveling with African Big Cats Safari, and once again, they exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, my safari in Tanzania was absolutely incredible. The team went above and beyond to make sure every detail of the trip was perfect. Communication before the safari was smooth and professional, and once on the ground, everything was organized seamlessly.
I chose the Comfort Package, and I must say the accommodations felt more like luxury. Every lodge and camp we stayed at was beautifully set up, with excellent service, delicious meals, and a level of comfort that exceeded my expectations while still giving an authentic safari atmosphere.
Our guide was not only extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and landscapes but also passionate about conservation and sharing his culture. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals — we were lucky enough to see the Big Five and countless other species up close, all while feeling safe and well taken care of.
Each day felt like a new adventure, from breathtaking sunrises over the Serengeti to watching elephants at a watering hole as the sun set.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I cannot recommend African Big Cats Safari highly enough. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, they are the team you want to travel with!

Namnyak was the 😍😍🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰 bessssstttttt!!!!
Our adventure in Kenya was a journey into one of Africa’s most beautiful place where the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro rises majestically above golden plains teeming with wildlife. Traveling alongside my best friend, every moment was charged with awe as we witnessed nature’s grandeur unfold in vivid detail. Amboseli’s star residents, the elephant herds, moved gracefully across the dusty terrain, their massive frames casting long shadows in the afternoon sun. Observing the complex social dynamics of these giants calves protected carefully by their matriarchs, bulls asserting their strength, and the gentle interactions between family members bwas a privilege that deepened our understanding of wildlife behavior. The park’s diverse habitats provided a rich tapestry of wildlife experiences. From baboons chattering in the acacia trees to the graceful elegance of giraffes browsing on thorny branches, every sighting added layers to our appreciation of this ecosystem. The park’s wetlands, though sparse, attracted vibrant flocks of birds, adding splashes of color against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak.

6-Day Machame climb and 1-Day Safari
We joined a 6-day Machame Route climb with two people, plus a one-day safari tour in Arusha National Park as an optional tour. Richard, who organized the tour, was very kind and always took the time to answer our many questions. The package also included airport–hotel transfers, and rental equipment was conveniently delivered to our hotel.
For the climb, we were supported by a team of 11: two guides, one chef, one waiter, and seven porters. Our mountain guides, Goodluck and Gift, set a pace that matched our fitness level, which made the trek very comfortable. The tent was cozy, and the meals were delicious. Compared to large group tours, the smaller group allowed for more flexibility, and our team was able to secure great camping spots. With the fitness level of people in their 30s, summiting Uhuru Peak in six days was very achievable. One tip: prepare your tips in advance for the final day, as there are recommended guidelines for tipping ammount.
After the climb, we spent a day on safari in Arusha National Park. It was only a two-hour drive from Moshi, and we saw a wide variety of animals. For anyone who wants to experience the nature of Tanzania in a small group setting, we highly recommend Kilimanjaro Vikings.

Good Value except for the Guide and Vehicle
The tour was a good value for the price. The accommodations were good for the what was charged. I was able to see and do everything I wanted and I enjoyed myself. The only drawbacks were the tour guide who was distracted and on his phone a lot and the vehicle interior was poorly maintained with ripped seat covers, trash from prior tours and poorly functioning seats.

In Kitawa they take care of everything and have everything under control.
From the moment you book, they adapt to your needs and make things very easy for you. They always have a solution for any problem. During the safari, our guide, Noel, did an excellent job, always smiling and very professional. The accommodations are very nice with quality food. They also offer service in perfect Spanish.

Well organized and personable
We have had an excellent safari experience with Tanzania Choice. Brenda was responsive and set up a program of our liking mixing safaris and cultural experiences, very comfortable camps, and everything was perfectly organized. She helped smooth out a visa delay and communicated updates and confirmations very clearly.
Leslie was an exceptional guide. He drove us safely and without any hesitation through the vast expanses of the parks, has an exceptional eye to spot and recognize animals, and always named them, even the myriad birds. He also shared a lot of knowledge about the fauna, flora and Tanzanian culture. He had a lot of personal stories to share, and even told us about his family. We had good laughs together, and we felt we were travelling with a friend.
Altogether we had an unforgettable experience, seeing all the wildlife and scenery we had dreamt of and much more.
