More then expected
With so many operators, it was difficult to make a choice but now if I had a advice to give I would say choose Serengeti Silence. We saw a lot of animals every day thanks the ability of our guide/driver Champion. His attention was constantly focus to offer us the maximum. He know more then very well the park. His quality was to try to satisfy each person of our group wich was made by different personnalities. He is friendly, discreet, he shared his knowledge with pleasure.

A Perfect Safari
We did a 5 day safari from Tangire to Ngorongoro to Serengeti and also visited the Hadzabe tribe and many more. The Trip was very well organized from Evance and we got a very good overall impression of Tanzania.
Michael was our Guide during this time and he really did a great Job! The call mit „Mr. Cats“ for a reason…we saw all the big Five and several more from a really close up point of view in just 4 Days. I think that is very impressive.
Our Guide drove an old Toyota Land Cruiser, which handled the bumpy roads very well and had a Pop-up Roof to get a better view on the wildlife. Perfekt for taking good pictures.
Overall the Safari could not have been better. A real 10/10 experience!

Thuba went above and beyond throughout the entire trip—from helping us navigate the area to sharing local culture and stories that made us appreciate Victoria Falls even more. By the end of the day, it felt like we were exploring with a trusted friend rather than just a guide.

We booked a 14-day trip to Uganda with Prime Safari, a company recommended to us by friends, and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience! Planning the trip with Cate was easy and stress-free — she was always available, attentive, and made sure all our wishes were taken into account.
Our local guide, Jerome, was fantastic. He was extremely helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and truly the best driver we could have asked for. We felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.

Our experience with Wildebeest Footsteps Adventures during our safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, the entire trip was organized with precision, care, and a genuine passion for creating memorable adventures.
Our guide, James, made the journey truly remarkable. His deep understanding of the parks and the wildlife brought every game drive to life. In the Serengeti, he navigated the vast landscapes with confidence, leading us to unforgettable sightings lions lounging in the grass, elegant giraffes wandering nearby, elephants moving peacefully across the plains, and many other wonderful animals. James always knew where to position the vehicle for the best views, and he shared fascinating insights along the way.
Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater was one of the most awe-inspiring moments of the trip. The panoramic views from the rim were breathtaking, and once inside, the abundance of wildlife felt surreal. We were thrilled to observe black rhinos, massive buffalo herds, zebras, wildebeests, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Every minute inside the crater felt magical, and James ensured we didn’t miss a thing.
Erick in the office played an essential role in making our trip run smoothly. He communicated clearly, responded quickly, and customized our itinerary to perfectly match our wishes. His guidance and professionalism made us feel supported long before we even arrived in Tanzania.

Well organised, great quality, still valuable company
We went with Axis to a 6 day Masaii Mara-Naivasha-Nakuru-Amboseli trip and it was amazing. Everything was well organised, on time, exactly as described in the offer. Accommodations were also great and better than we expected even choosing the budget ones. I think their service is GREAT for the value and definitely would choose them again. The whole trip was fantastic, we couldn’t ask for a better guide than Raymond, who is very experienced and knows the parks and animals soooo well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Extraordinary Masai Mara Safari – Perfectly Curated by Africa Barefoot Safaris
Our 4-day safari at Basecamp Masai Mara was nothing short of spectacular, and the entire experience was seamlessly curated by Prajwal, founder of Africa Barefoot Safaris. From the very first enquiry to the moment we were dropped back at Nairobi airport, every aspect of our journey was executed with warmth, precision, and genuine personal care.
During the pre-trip planning stage, Prajwal was incredibly responsive and detailed in her communication. Every query—whether about logistics, camp facilities, game drives, or travel formalities—was answered patiently and promptly. It gave us immense confidence even before we landed in Kenya that we were in capable hands.
We were also celebrating our wedding anniversary during the safari, and what happened mid-tour was something straight out of a dream. Without revealing too much in advance, Prajwal and our incredible guide Joseph surprised us with a private sundowner with champagne in the middle of the jungle, set beautifully against the foothills as the African sun dipped below the horizon. It was intimate, romantic, and unforgettable. Later at Basecamp, they arranged a beautiful anniversary cake along with a traditional Masai tribal dance, which was deeply cultural and incredibly moving. It is rare to see such thoughtful personal touches woven so naturally into a safari experience.
Our guide Joseph truly deserves special mention. He wasn’t just a guide—he was a storyteller, wildlife expert, protector, and friend throughout the journey. From our airport pickup in Nairobi to our drop-off, he ensured we were always comfortable and safe. His knowledge of animal behaviour and tracking is simply outstanding. Because of his expertise and relentless effort, we were fortunate to witness the complete Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—along with giraffes, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, serval cats, jackals and countless bird species.
What made the experience even more special was that Joseph took us through different regions of the Masai Mara every single day, ensuring varied landscapes, fresh sightings, and unique experiences during each game drive. No two drives felt repetitive—each day felt like a brand-new adventure.
Our stay at Basecamp Masai Mara was equally exceptional—eco-luxury at its finest, nestled right inside nature with stunning views, comfort, warm hospitality, and the sounds of the wild all around us at night - though food could have been better. Waking up to sunrise game drives and returning to the peaceful energy of the camp was pure magic.
What sets Africa Barefoot Safaris apart is not just their ability to organise a trip—it’s the personal involvement of Prajwal, the passion of guides like Joseph, and the heart with which they operate.
