My wife and I traveled to Tanzania in 2022 and arranged a wonderful safari through Porcupine Expeditions, a locally owned company based in Arusha.
Our safari took us through Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the magnificent Serengeti. The wildlife and landscapes were unforgettable, but what made the experience particularly special was the personal attention we received from Anna, who organized our trip.

Our 12-day safari through Uganda was truly life-changing. From the moment we set out, the country’s diverse landscapes and warm hospitality made us feel welcome. Tracking rhinos on foot at Ziwa was an intimate, humbling start to an adventure that became more thrilling each day.
Murchison Falls was breathtaking. Watching the Nile surge through a narrow canyon from the top of the falls was spectacular, but the boat safari along the Nile River was the real highlight. Cruising past elephants, pods of hippos, and giant crocodiles felt like stepping straight into a nature documentary.
As we entered the lush rainforests, the wildlife encounters became even more personal. Tracking chimpanzees in Kibale Forest was an exhilarating rush of sound and movement as they swung through the high canopy. Queen Elizabeth National Park offered a beautiful contrast, with sweeping savannahs, tree-climbing lions, and an unforgettable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
The crown jewel of the trip was gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Scrambling through the dense, misty jungle was challenging, but looking into the eyes of a mountain gorilla from just meters away was a profound moment I’ll carry with me forever.
Beyond the wildlife, the local food added another special dimension to our journey. Fresh tilapia by the water, perfectly spiced stews, and the famous local "Rolex" street food gave us a wonderful taste of Ugandan culture. If you’re looking for an unforgettable African adventure filled with incredible wildlife, stunning scenery, and vibrant culture, Uganda is an ideal destination.

We had a wonderful experience exploring this beautiful part of Madagascar with the team. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the journey, thanks to the excellent organisation, the warm hospitality and the attention we received throughout the trip.
A special mention goes to Tchery, who was absolutely lovely, friendly and attentive at all times, and to our professional driver, who was always accommodating and happy to adapt to our wishes. We would also like to highlight Sebastián, our guide in Bekopaka, who was knowledgeable, charming and made our visit to the Tsingy particularly enjoyable, despite the heat and physical effort involved.
The landscapes and experiences were truly memorable, and we are very grateful to the team for helping us discover this extraordinary region of Madagascar.
Overall, we were very happy with the experience and would recommend the team to other travellers. Our only significant disappointment was the accommodation in Kirindy, which unfortunately fell well below acceptable standards in terms of cleanliness, bathroom facilities and security. We understand that options in such remote areas may be limited, but we hope alternatives can be considered in the future.

We had a fantastic 2 days safari experience in Tanzania with Going Green Safari Tours. It was a very well planned trip and wonderfully organized by Going Green team. Over 2 days we explored 2 famous parks the Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Manjory was very skilled, friendly and supportive. He always ensured our safety and made each game drive unforgettable. We got the opportunity to see many kinds of animals and their natural habits were just amazing!
