We had an unforgettable safari with Crater Explorer Tours, visiting Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Our guide Joseph was fantastic, he always gave us plenty of time at the animal sightings, answered all our questions, and took great care of us. Thanks to him, we experienced so many incredible moments in nature.
A big thank you as well to our cook Joakim: the food was always fresh, delicious, and varied. The soups especially were outstanding!

Incredible Experience
Our safari with Crater Explorer Tours (4D3N) was an incredible experience! We explored Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and every single day was full of unforgettable moments.
Our guide Joseph made the trip truly special. He was extremely knowledgeable, very attentive, and always gave us the time we needed to enjoy the wildlife. At the same time, our cook Joakim spoiled us with fresh, tasty, and diverse meals. Together, they created a wonderful atmosphere and made us feel completely cared for throughout the journey.

From the very beginning, our safari trip was nothing short of extraordinary, and this was entirely thanks to Paul and his exceptional organisation. I can honestly say I did not have to worry about a single detail, everything was seamlessly taken care of.
Paul was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure our experience was perfect. He went above and beyond to listen to what we wanted, tailored the itinerary exactly to our wishes, and executed it flawlessly. It wasn’t just a trip; it was a once-in-a-lifetime journey crafted with care and precision. His communication was excellent throughout, and I felt completely comfortable putting all my trust in him, something I rarely do when travelling abroad.
The tour guide Sylvester was equally outstanding. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate, which made the entire safari so much more meaningful. From spotting wildlife at just the right moments to explaining the smallest details about the Maasai Mara, his expertise added depth to every part of our journey.
What stood out most was how stress-free the entire trip felt. When travelling, there are moments of uncertainty or logistical headaches – but here, there was none of that it was completely smooth experience. Paul had anticipated everything, from transfers to accommodations and travelling. It truly felt like we could relax, immerse ourselves in the magic of Africa, and simply enjoy.
This was more than just a holiday, it was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded every expectation. I would not even consider booking with anyone else in the future. Paul has set the standard so high that I know he’s the only person I would trust to plan a safari again.

Trip of a lifetime all because of the amazing help from Tarasis and team!
We had the most incredible experience in Uganda, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Alps Trendy Safaris. Tarasis was absolutely amazing at helping us organize our gorilla trekking - super helpful, responsive, and communicative every step of the way. Choosing Serengeti Smile as our travel agency turned out to be an excellent decision. From the very beginning, Baraka, our travel agent, helped us design the perfect itinerary tailored to our wishes. The entire trip was seamlessly organized, and every lodge we stayed in was comfortably above average.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our driver Osward, whose friendliness immediately made us feel at ease.
For most of our journey, we were guided by Libe, who was both knowledgeable, experienced and passionate, particularly when it came to wildlife. On safari, he impressed us with his sharp eye for spotting animals and his ability to share fascinating insights about each one. The safari experience as a whole far exceeded our expectations, we witnessed breathtaking landscapes, encountered incredible wildlife, and had the chance to meet local tribes.
The local guides we had at Materuni and Lake Eyasi, Manase and Alex, were equally impressive, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share their culture with us.

Everything was very well organizet!
We saw so many animals for example big five. Our guide knew where to drive to see all the animals. Aanika Karibu Safaris also ordered us hotairballoon ride!!! We really recommend Aanika Karibu Safaris!!

Great experience
The whole tour was well structured and all pick-up times were perfectly on-time. Our Guide Nazareth was really friendly and explained interesting facts about the animals and nature. We saw many animals, my personal highlight was a group of lions with many babys :)
The camp bastian was also really good and was a perfect stay to round off the day!
