Our time together consisted of a personalized experience hiking on Mount Kilimanjaro, learning about Maasai tribes, and embracing the wonders of seeing animals in their natural environment in Tarangiri National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park. MJ handled all the details of my journey helping to create an amazingly stress-free experience from start to finish!
MJ’s knowledge about all aspects of the African bush is mind-blowing! He willingly shares amazing facts along the way, allows plenty of time for observation of the animals (whether it be with binoculars or photos), navigates the maze of bumpy roads with care and concern of his passengers, and always fills each day with so much happiness!
No matter how many times MJ has spotted the animals, he always exudes pure amazement for his guest; making our experience truly magical! Not only can you call MJ an amazing guide, but also a true friend!

Best safari guides I have ever experienced!
I just completed the most impactful, educational, moving, adventurous, and fun safari of my entire life, and I have been on several others in Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, and Namibia.
We were a group of fifteen tourists traveling with Amanda Rieman of Kapu Africa. Amanda found Wakanda Tours and Safaris for us, and I’m so glad she did. We split onto three vehicles, and I was primarily with Andrew. All three guides of the guides we had, Andrew, Jimmy, and Louis, were excellent.
Andrew has been with the company for over ten years and has been guiding for over twenty years. This experience shone through as he drove us through Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti, all of which he knows like the back of his hand. Andrew has so much experience that he knew how and where to look for the animals and how to position us for the best viewing and photos. His knowledge of the animals, their behavior, and the areas was phenomenal. He also had a guide book and quality binoculars handy for us, which I appreciated as I had lost mine in a previous country! He rarely used the binoculars as he has the best vision for spotting animals that I have ever seen.
This safari was so good that I intend to return with my grandchildren, special requesting Andrew.

From Tarangire to the Mara River: The Best Safari Experience in Tanzania
Our safari with Meijo Safaris was unforgettable! The itinerary (Arusha – Tarangire – Hadzabe tribe – Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Arusha) was perfectly organized, and every day brought something new and exciting.
Our guide Michael was fantastic — very experienced, knowledgeable, responsible, and also fun to travel with. Thanks to him, we saw the Big Five, including a leopard he patiently tracked down for us. The absolute highlight was in the Northern Serengeti, where we witnessed the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River — truly breathtaking and emotional. Michael spent a whole day making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and his professionalism made all the difference.

This 7-day Tanzania Safari arranged by the local travel agency completely exceeded our expectations—"comfort" and "thoughtfulness" were present in every detail of the trip. The accommodations they selected perfectly balanced local characteristics with living comfort, and the daily itinerary was exceptionally smooth: there was no rushing around, and even in remote areas, meals were always on time and to our taste. Every detail was carefully planned, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural experience.
The absolute highlight of this trip was undoubtedly our guide, Michael—his professionalism and enthusiasm made this Safari exceptionally special. As an experienced guide, he had an incredible ability to spot wildlife: we not only saw the "Big Five" smoothly, but also had the luck to encounter many hard-to-find animals, such as leopards and servals. What moved us even more was his thoughtfulness: he remembered that we preferred hot water, patiently waited every time we wanted to stop and take photos, and proactively shared interesting facts about the grassland ecosystem.
At the end of the 7-day trip, we took away not only countless amazing photos, but also deep memories of this land and sincere gratitude for the team's attentive service. Wonderful memory!!
Our 7-day safari in Tanzania is a wonderful memory. We almost spotted all the daytime-active animals in the Serengeti, and this is all thanks to the Meijo company we chose and our professional guide, Michael.
Michael's dedication to his work left a deep impression on us. To ensure we didn't miss any animals, he always planned the routes in advance, adjusted the itinerary flexibly and patiently searched the grasslands. From waiting for the Great Migration river crossing to catching a glimpse of the elusive leopard, from learning about animal habits to being educated on local culture, our African trip became complete because of his efforts.
Additionally, he speaks excellent English. He is humorous and has top-notch driving skills—truly a highly professional guide.

Fantastic game drives
Before the trip the team was cert easy to communicate with and answered all our questions and needs.
Our tour guide/driver Raymond was one th best game drivers. Knows all the right spots at the parks, drive very safely and very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw with him all the big 5 and all the ugly 5. He was always nice and trying to accomdate the requests from the different members of the group. He is one funny guy that brought a lot of energy to this group.
We choose the 4 nights, 5 days trip which was perfect balance allowing us to visit the masai mara, nakuru lake, naivasha lake and hells gate. We had a combination of game drive, walking safari and cycling safari.
I would recommend to go for the luxury option, as the basic hotels are a bit too basic. For me it was ok, but I know it wouldn't work for some people.
