This was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Sam and Maron who made it possible. Despite peaking point Lenana was the main goal, what you get with this trekking is significantly more than this. Every detail of the trekking is well planned and taken care off, as well as customised to your own expectations. Pick up and drop off to your preference. You only need to think about having appropriate clothes for cold nights in the mountains (you can rent what you do not have; don’t be afraid to ask ahead because they’re really helpful even before your trekking starts). Guide Sam was really knowledgeable about the nature (plants and animals), we chatted about life, exchanging experience as well as left space to each other to have peaceful moments and being with our own thoughts. He also has thought about everything in advance and always found something extra in his backpack when needed. Even early morning hike to Lenana seemed easy with him. He’s really experienced and passionate about what he does. Chef Maron brought a 5-star hotel in the wild. I loved absolutely everything he prepared, and it’s even more valuable that he does so with limited equipment. I wouldn’t expect to get popcorn to snack in between main meals. I was worried about what kind of meals I would get, but you get a lot of veggies, fruits, meat, beans, ugali, porridge etc. The meals are balanced and well planned. The work they’re doing is absolutely stunning. I would recommend 110 %.

I did the 7 days safari around 4 national parks and the experience was awesome, we spotted all the big 5 multiple times and the accommodations and food were perfect and Sol thanks to all the staffs at each hotel for their warm welcome and hospitality.

So many positive things to say about Tan Safari (Jonas and his team). From the very beginning I felt this was going to be a great experience. Jonas listened carefully and asked the right questions. He carefully drafted a 24 day trip that balanced my husband’s love of birding and our passion for safari while ensuring we had time for rest and relaxation. Our safari guide Alfred was incredible. He was not only great at drafting our daily game drives & birding itinerary, but he ensured things were going as we hoped, handled our camp check-ins, made wonderful suggestions, was courteous and of course ensured we had a fun and a safe journey.
The safari experience from seeing game to accommodation, food, etc. was all better than expected, and we know it’s due to the guiding. We went to 6 parks (Mkomazi, Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Parks; and Ndutu within Ngorongoro Conservation Area) and Lake Victoria. In our adventures we were fortunate to see the following:

- 10 cheetahs
- 5 leopards
- 2 rhinos
- 47 hyenas
- 300+ bird species
- 1000’s of wildebeest & zebras
- 100’s Cape buffalo
- 100’s of other antelope species and of course 300+ birds)

Very knowledgeable tourguide
Nice combination of parks and animals. The day in tarangire was very long but if you finish the day with a dip in the pool and a meal it's all good. 'Drinks included' is limited, drinks at the hotel were not included.

Friendly and quality service
We took a 4-day budget safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, and the entire trip was very well organized from start to finish. The food throughout the safari was outstanding, far beyond what we expected on a budget tour.
We were lucky to spot the Big Five, which made the experience even more special. Our driver, Dennis, was fantastic, knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated. Thanks to him!
A big thank you as well to James (Sunnycreek) for arranging everything so smoothly. This was truly one of the best experiences of our lives, and we would love to come back to Kenya again.

well organized and value for money
everything was well organized from the time we were picked up on the first day. our guide Jack was a great driver, and he knew just where to bring us to see all the wild animals - cheetahs, lion, leopards included. he also made sure we had our photos before he drove off, and that was really appreciated. everything was good with our booking with Axis Africa Safari.

Trip to Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater
My brother and I did a four day trip with Serengeti Silence. Our driver and guide Barnabas was excellent. Very attentive, taking us to see lots of amazing wildlife and very cheerful and friendly. Highly recommended. The company and accommodation were both excellent and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this company.

Once in a lifetime experience and absolutely worth it!!!
I booked it the evening before we left and it was no problem at all! I chose the 3 days Masai Mara, with two days in the park. I took the budget option and it was more than enough. The food was good as well, but everyday the same… Richie our guide tried his best to give us a great experience! We were way longer in the park than the description says. Of course it’s a lot of money, but a once in a lifetime experience and totally worth it!!! I would do it again and can only recommend it!

Excellent experience
We were very pleased with our 3-day safari to Amboseli and Tsavo East. Our driver, Kitavi, picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and at the end of our trip he dropped us off in Diani where we are staying for the next week.
Kitavi was a very professional guide and did his best for us to see as many animals as possible. We saw a lot of different animals at a short distance at Tsavo East, including elephants and lions.
We were also happy with our stayovers at AA Lodge and The elephant lodge. 5/5 would recommend.

A perfect tour guide James Gichina
Especially, our tour guide James Gichina is grate. He is very kind, friendly and has a good community so it was easy to find a lot of animals including BIG5. This was our first time to visit safari in Kenya, but we are very satisfied.
