Informative, clear and very efficient; tailored exactly to our requirements
Over the period of 8 days we visited 3 parks with Uwanda Tours (Mikumi, Ruaha and Nyerere). We were picked up from our hotel in Dar es Salaam and then everything was in their hands. The trip was well organised and the cherry on the cake was our driver Kapande; extremely knowledgeable, calm and considerate, his command of English was excellent and he had a great sense of humour. Kapande knew out-of-the-way and seldom used tracks around the parks where we were delighted with close-up encounters with animals including lions, elephants, crocodiles and wild dogs to name just four of the very many different animals and birds we saw. His knowledge of the parks and facts about the lives of the wildlife was impressive, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. On each of the days we were in the parks we barely saw another human (maybe 4 to 8 people), a huge difference to the big northern parks with hoards of 4x4 chasing animal sightings. The vehicle was a sturdy land-cruiser with a flip up roof and as there were just the two of us in the car, we had a truly private experience. Including an early morning private boat trip with a different Uwanda guide, Ahmed, also very knowledgeable and again we were rewarded with some remarkable sightings.
The lodges were comfortable, the food varied from excellent and copious (Hilltop at Ruaha) to pretty mediocre (Selous Lodge), but you're not on this trip for the culinary delights.
Uwanda were extremely helpful and super reactive when we needed to change our itinerary during the trip, at our request, and nothing was too much for them. I have been on 9 safaris with different companies and Kapande was by far the most stand-out driver and guide I have had.
I highly recommend Uwanda Tours and Safaris and would happily use them again.

We loved our experience. They answered all of our many questions before the trip started and arranged everything for us. They did all the little things, like have someone walk with us to the supermarket in Nairobi before the tour started to make sure we got there. Every day was very organized and action packed. The camp booking was perfect for us, exactly what we wanted, and we felt like our experience was tailored just exactly for what we were looking for.

Tami was spectacular!
This is the second time we have used Tami as our travel agent for Africa. Both trips have exceeded or expectations. She was a detailed communicator. Everything went exactly as planned. We felt safe and taken care of our entire trip. The only surprises were good ones. She was readily available for questions or concerns and helped us navigate everything. Every detail went exactly as planned. We had a wonderful Safari experience and ended at a fantastic all inclusive resort on a beautiful beach. Cannot say enough good things about Pembury or Tami.

A very successful tour and a very helpful operator, excellent organizer and excellent driver.
We have chosen the tour from internet. We are 5 elderly people, old friends. Our contact person from the office was Joysharon. She was kind, quick and very effective. The guide/driver was Alex Mutua, and we were very pleased with him, too. He was very patient, polite and very knowledgeable about the parks and the animals. The lodges and the food were excellent. This was a midrange tour, 8 days long, and we found it cost effective. We can recommend this tour highly for everybody.

Our family chose our first safari experience with Pedaso safaris post a decent amount of research on Google as we didn't have any family or friends who had been on a safari before and must say, we are absolutely happy with the entire experience of our holiday right from the first interaction with David (7-8 months ago) to the very end of our tour (today).
David's proactive response every single time we approached him, his genuine concern for his customers preferences while keeping our comfort in mind, his practical advice (even though it meant less fees for him- for the hot air balloon experience), his daily check-in's while on the tour, extra services provided (excess baggage storage, accompanying us to our hotel with bags at the end of our tour, checking in on us after the tour, sorting out any of our concerns and taking all feedback happily) has left a lasting impression on us.
Considering it was our very first safari experience, the amount of questions and changes to our plans we imposed on David and the absolute patience and professionalism he handled it, with just shows his love for his profession. We would not hesitate to recommend Pedaso Safaris to anyone wanting to plan this unique experience.

Joel was professional, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. He knew exactly where to go and helped us spot so many incredible animals that we would have never seen on our own.
He was also very kind, patient, and passionate about wildlife, which made the whole experience even more special. Additionally, he could speak Spanish, which made communication much easier and greatly enhanced our overall experience.

Amazing Safari Adventure with Incredible Wildlife and a Great Guide
I really enjoyed visiting Tsavo and Amboseli. I saw a wide variety of animals and landscapes, so overall I was very happy with my trip. Our tour guide, Denis, was super friendly, always on time, and very knowledgeable about the animals and birds. The lodges where I stayed were great, with nice accommodation and plenty of good food. Definitely worth the value, and I would love to come back again one day.

Amazing Experience
Everything was very well organized. Happy helped a lot, anwered all the questions, even arranged hot ballooning for me, which turned out to be a lifetime experience. The feeling of flying over savannah with giraffes and zebras wandering below was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgable and shared lots of facts about local wildlife. We were served 3 delicious hot meals every day. There was a solo traveller in the group who had a birthday during the safari. Imagine her surprise when she had got a birthday cake at the Ngoro Ngoro capmsite! I really appreciated this personal and attentive to detail attitude from all Kilipath staff.
