Gerard was kind, informative, and reliable.
Gerard was our guide on this wonderful tour. He picked us up very early in the morning from Rwanda and drove us to Uganda to see the gorillas same day. He provided extremely comfortable neck pillows and we were able to sleep in the car nearly the entire drive. He was extremely reliable, had great communication, and was extremely knowledgeable about history of Rwanda. He was open to talking to us about everything we asked. The gorilla tour itself was wonderful. We were in a small group (about 6 of us total) with 2 guides. There was a group of trekkers from the company who went ahead of us to find where the gorillas would be so to make an easier time for us. Once we arrived with the gorillas, there were 4 professional trekkers there. We felt extremely safe as the staff was knowledgeable and seasoned. Overall, we trekked about 1-1.5 hours to find the gorillas, spend 1 hour with them, and hiked 1 hour back. Gerard was so amazing that he was flexible planning whatever we wanted to do. We drove through the towns in Uganda and Rwanda while learning about the history from him. We were particularly interested in visiting the Rwandan genocide Museum, which Gerard was able to make happen for us before closing. He even added a few extra stops to show us important historical sites throughout the city. The visa situation (coming from USA) was a breeze, as Gerard and Anna had prepared us for everything before hand, and it barely took any time to cross the border. Overall, I could not recommend this company more. The entire staff was extremely responsive, reliable, knowledgeable, and showed us a wonderful and very safe time. We are so grateful and would highly recommend the service!

Vincent made our entire trip! So kinds and knowledgeable and funny!
This was an incredible tour company! Vincent was our guide and he made this trip a once in a lifetime experience. He was so friendly and kind and funny, he made us feel like old friends. We saw AMAZING animals and scenery thanks to the knowledge Vincent had. The lunch was absolutely incredible, he even parked next to a heard of animals and we had lunch right next to them! It rained once on our trip and I was a bit nervous about the mud and descending into the crater, but Vincent was so safe and such a skilled driver we felt safe the entire time.
I can’t say enough good things about this tour company. From the suggestions of places and lodges we stayed at, to the actual information given to us on the safari. We had an amazing time and I’m so grateful for this trip. When another safari company was having trouble with their vehicle, Vincent stopped to make sure they were okay. That was so nice to us.
The company also surprised us with several nights celebrating our anniversary.
We got so lucky and saw all the big 5 animals. We just have to come back to see the Cheetah! Choose this company you will NOT be disappointed. The communication was great and the trip was incredible. Thank you for everything Nkollo Tours.

A wonderful safari with our guide Adam!
We (three sisters) had a fantastic safari in January 2026, driven by our guide, Adam. Adam managed to spot all the animals and was happy to tell us all about the wildlife in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Parks. Adam was also very friendly, patient, punctual, and helpful. He even helped us quickly retrieve lost luggage and stayed with us during check-in at various lodges for any questions. He also accompanied us at Serengeti Airport when we had some issues with check-in. Thank you, Adam, for this relaxing and wonderful experience! ❤️

Incredible 7-day safari experience
Our 7-day safari with our tour guide Brian was the most incredible experience! Each day we saw something new, and the additional activities (a boat ride and walking safari in Lake Naivasha and a cycling tour of Hell’s gate) were well worth the extra fee and were some of the best memories from our trip. The game drives themselves were incredible - Brian went above and beyond to make sure we got great views of the beautiful wildlife. Accommodation was varied but generally had everything we needed. We did find we needed more physical cash than expected since most places along the route don’t accept card transactions or charge fees.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible 5-Day Safari Experience with Serengeti Smiles
We had an absolutely amazing five-day safari experience with Serengeti Smiles. From start to finish, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine kindness.
Piniel was our main point of contact and was incredible. He communicated with us via WhatsApp the entire time, was extremely responsive, and helped with everything—from airport transfers and hotel arrangements to planning our safari route and matching us with the perfect guide. His service was so outstanding that we even met him in person at our hotel in Arusha.
Our guide, Hussein was phenomenal. An excellent driver, incredibly knowledgeable, and so kind throughout the entire trip. Thanks to him, we saw all of the Big Five and more—lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and even a very rare black rhino. He answered every question we had and made the experience both educational and unforgettable.
The value for the money was exceptional, and we couldn’t recommend Serengeti Smiles more highly

Professional, reliable safari operator offering unforgettable private experiences with expert guides
I went on a private safari with Sunnycreek Safaris and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the beginning, the communication was clear, prompt, and very professional, which made planning smooth and stress-free. The safari itself was well organized and excellent value for money. Our guide, James, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife—he explained everything in detail and made sure we had the best possible sightings. He was patient, attentive, and always made us feel comfortable and safe. Overall, Sunnycreek Safaris is highly reliable and delivers a truly memorable safari experience. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, private safari.

Incredibly nice, and patient.
We went with Calvin, and honestly he was an amazing guide. We are a very “loud” family, and he was able not only to teach us and show us wonderful things, but to enjoy the journey among us. Always with a huge smile, and disposition to help us with anything. He was an important part of why this trip was so special and memorable.

A caring, experienced team who go above and beyond to create an exceptional safari experience.
We had an incredible safari experience in January with Safari Vacations and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Our driver and guide, Tim, was outstanding. With 25 years of experience, his knowledge of the parks was exceptional — from choosing the best routes to knowing exactly when and where we had the best chance of seeing wildlife. His instincts, patience and deep understanding of animal behaviour made every game drive feel thoughtful and rewarding. We always felt safe, well looked after, and confident we were getting the most out of each day.
The accommodation staff at every location were also wonderful — consistently friendly, welcoming and accommodating, which really added to the overall experience.
In the lead-up to the safari, Sammy was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing all the information we needed and making the planning process smooth and stress-free.
We also felt the safari offered excellent value for money — very reasonably priced for the level of care, experience and quality throughout the trip. It was such a pleasure meeting both Sammy and Tim in person, and we’re truly grateful for Tim’s care and dedication in making sure we had the best possible experience. We would absolutely recommend Safari Vacations and would happily travel with them again.

Unforgettable
The tour offers you different options. We chose for the cheapest one. If you want to live a real experience, this is your place, specially the nights in Masai Mara sleeping on a tent with no luxuries but an amazing experience of living with minimums. In my case, I loved it.
The food is the same in all the hotels or restaurants, but very tasty specially the salads! Not too much fun of the chicken but that is just me, the food in general good.
Our guide Denis…. Simply amazing! A very nice guy, trying his 100% all the time to give us the best of the best in the excursions and in our trip. I will give him 10 stars if possible!
If you want to leave a Keniatan experience in a very acceptable price, I will recommend you this one with not doubts.

Great experience, professional reps with Excellent tour guide
We took this family trip in December with planning starting a few months earlier. We were excited as we started planning but also were anxious as with any travel to a new place, country and continent! We came across Josero travels after evaluating a few agencies and started working with them after reading through some of the reviews and after some conversations with them about the options and the planning. Joseph and Judith helped us as we worked through the travel planning and we felt assured as we finalized the travel plans. Joseph and Judith helped us to work through the various options, the pricing, the arrangements, etc., they were very professional and up front about all of the aspects. Their pricing was reasonable and they helped us in setting up the tour plan based on our time and preferences.
Our travel itinerary started upon reaching Nairobi, where Henry and Judith met us at the Nairobi airport and escorted us to the hotel. In spite of our flight delays causing a delayed start of the tour, coming to a new place we were glad to be received well and help to get us to a good start. Henry and Judith helped us for the day stay in Nairobi, taking us around during the time available. From Nairobi we left the next day to Masai Mara where we spent a couple of days, then to Lake Nakuru for an overnight stay and day, then on to Amboselli National park and Safari, then on to Diani Beach for a relaxing couple of days. From there we took the train to Nairobi. Representatives from Josero were constantly in touch with us and our tour guide throughout the trip. We felt reassured that they were continuously monitoring the arrangements and coordinating as needed to ensure that it all worked out smoothly.
Any tour such as this comes with some unexpected situations. Through it all, our tour guide with the Josero team worked through to smoothen the experience.
I am reserving my complete appreciation throughout this trip for our tour guide, Duncan Felix Ogongo. Not only did he work hard to take us through the entire road trip, he was very knowledgeable, patient, cooperative and very understanding of our expectations. He went over and above his duties to help us feel comfortable and have a good experience. My sincere thanks to him and to Josero travels for providing his services to us. I have no hesitation in giving him and Josero a 5-star rating.
A little bit about the places we visited:
Masai Mara was wonderful. The stay at Mara Serai was great. They accommodated our late arrival and our stay there for the next couple of days was excellent. The day rides were excellent and the Safari tour was very good. We learnt that the great attraction to the park is during the migration season when the wildebeests mass migrate across the river. which is between July and September. While we went after this time, our tour guide, Duncan Felix Ogongo, took us through the areas of migration and we got to see their paths.
The trip from Masai Mara to Lake Nakru was a little bumpy towards the end due to the roads, Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge was good. The view is great and the hotel and restaurant were good. The safari was a little different from Masai Mara, but we got to see some of the wild life that we did not see at Masai Mara. The paths around the hotel took a little getting used-to, the key is not to be in a hurry. There was a minor glitch here with the packed lunch arrangements, but Josero team worked through it for alternatives.
The road trip from Lake Nakuru to Amboselli National Park was somewhat long. The Hotel here, Tawi Lodge, was different from the ones at the other places. It was spacious with a nice view of the Kilimanjaro, but the facilities were not as appealing to us. One thing to consider here is that if staying at the hotels outside the Safari gate, such as the Tawi lodge, you have to leave the park by a certain time, whereas if you are staying at one of the hotels inside the perimeter you can stay in the park a little longer. So, for more reasons than one, next time we may opt for the Mara Serai or the Amboseli Serena Safari here also.
From Amboseli we were dropped off at Emali station by Duncan, our tour guide, and we took the train to Mombasa, to then be driven to Diani sea resort by our tour guide there - Peter. Diani Sea resort was a wonderful couple of days finale to our trip on the beach. The restaurant was good and the rooms comfortable.
From Diani sea resort we were driven back to Mombasa, and from there we took the train to Nairobi and back on the flight from there.
Along the trip our tour guide took us to some shops where we could shop for travel memorabilia, and while we did buy some stuff we did not have space for more. We learnt that if we had traveled light we could have bought some more of them. A point to note here - there are shops along the way where it may be less expensive than the more popular city shops. And, as we discovered a little late, getting large shells from the beach sellers may not be a good idea if you cannot bring back those on your flights and back to your country. It is even forbidden to take it on the train!
We are looking forward to making the trip again, hopefully on a different set of places!
