Perfect
I went on a safari with Isaac and it was an unforgettable experience. He treated us incredibly well—always kind, attentive, and endlessly patient. He stopped for every single bird we saw along the way, and being Uganda, there were many! He taught us so much about the local culture and made sure we felt safe and cared for at all times.
I can’t wait to go back. Highly, highly recommended!

Exceptional Hospitality & Incredible Wildlife
Our stay at Safari Terminal & Bush Retreat in Tarangire was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm hospitality and attention to every detail.
The tents were beautifully designed — blending luxury with the authentic bush experience. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching wildlife nearby was magical. The food was exceptional, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared each day.
The safari experiences were well organized, and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife. Every game drive felt special.
If you're looking for comfort, adventure, and genuine Tanzanian hospitality in Tarangire, this is the place. Highly recommended!

“A wildlife-first guide with deep knowledge of the land and a growing photographer’s eye.”
I had the absolute pleasure of being guided by Freddy with Suricata Safaris, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Freddy is exceptionally knowledgeable — not only about every species we encountered, but also about the history of the land, the ecosystems, and the deeper story of the places we explored. His understanding goes far beyond identification; he brings context, meaning, and respect to every sighting.
What truly sets Freddy apart is his unwavering respect for wildlife. He is deeply conscious of the well-being of the animals and consistently puts them first, never chasing a checklist or quota of sightings. That ethical approach created more authentic, powerful encounters and made the entire experience feel grounded, responsible, and special.
As a photographer, I also appreciated his ever-evolving photographic perspective. Freddy has a strong and growing eye for imagery, understands positioning and light, and genuinely supports photographers in the field. I would strongly encourage people to keep an eye out for his photographs — his vision is only getting stronger.
I will be returning on a regular basis and will continue to have Freddy as my guide whenever possible.
A sincere thank you to Freddy and the entire Suricata Safaris team for delivering an outstanding and unforgettable photography expedition.

First Class Service.
The initial contact Ronnie was helpful all the way through when finalising the tour. He provided lots of options to choose from and was very helpful in arranging a magnificent holiday.
The pick up from both airports by TD and Mosa were on time and waiting for us in arrivals.
The transport vehicles were spotlessly clean.
Our Guides were also so friendly and informative with a special mention to Brandon in Sabi Sands and Faldie in Cape Town.

Perfect budget safari where you actually see animals close up
The 6 day tour safari was a real banger when it comes to value for money. It was affordable, which set my expectations low. I have done several safaris before, including higher end ones, but I was mind-blown by this tour. A lot of it is thanks to Jimmy our guide/driver. He went above and beyond to get us to see the big five, to get us up close, to position us in the optimal way.
The accommodations and food were basic, most camps or hotels being comfortable but not much more than that (bring cash if you want drinks). Lunches were horribly bland, and everyday the same, dinners were not much better in terms of diversity, but always decent.
The Mountain View camp in Amboseli was the most beautiful and with the best staff, the Maasai guard came to pick us up at the bonfire to see an elephant roaming next to camp at night.
Organisation and communication were ok. Our car started from Nairobi with 8 people sleeping in 3 different camps, then reduced to 7, then to 6. A lot of logistics and time wasted, but again, you get what you pay for.

Eagle eyes help us to see the Big Five.
Our safari experience was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Prosper. From Central Serengeti to Arusha, he demonstrated incredible knowledge of wildlife, sharp tracking skills, and a deep respect for nature. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, and he always positioned the vehicle perfectly for both viewing and photography while making sure the animals were never disturbed.
What impressed us most was not just his professionalism, but his patience, awareness, and intuition. Prosper could read animal behavior, anticipate movement, and explain what we were seeing in a way that made every moment meaningful. When we witnessed a real hunt in the wild, he calmly guided us through what was happening, helping us understand the reality of nature beyond just spectacle.
Prosper is not only an excellent guide, but also a thoughtful, responsible, and passionate person who truly loves what he does. If you want a safari that is safe, insightful, and deeply authentic, you could not ask for a better guide. Highly recommended.

Reliable, transparent, in time
I booked a daily trip for Jozani forest, salam cave and rock restaurant. Chris even made a reservation at the restaurant for me. Everything perfect, we saw everything we wanted. Driver was very nice too, car was clean and big.
