Dickson the best safari guide
Dickson…
I will always remember you as the best guide I’ve ever had in my long life.
Why? Because you always asked how I was feeling, whether I had slept well, and if I was comfortable. I loved the way you shared your deep knowledge about every animal we encountered, bringing each story to life with anecdotes that made the experience unforgettable.
You were always cheerful, punctual, and responsible. As the oldest member of our group, I often needed my children to translate your explanations for me, yet you never left me behind. You included me in your jokes, laughed with me over my little mistakes and forgetfulness, and always made me feel part of the adventure.
I will always recommend going on safari with Dickson. I will carry you in my memories and in my heart forever.
Wishing you a long and happy life,
Luz Marina (La Mamá)

Gosheni
We had an amazing time with Hassan Driver from Gosheni Safari. We learned a lot about animals and saw an amazing variety of African landscapes. We went to savanna, grassland, wood land, lake, saw amazing rocks in central serengeti. All this time, Hassan was polite, respectful, and did everything to make our experience unforgettable. Hassan is an excellent driver. The road to Serengeti is tough. We saw many cars broken down alone the road. Hassan is an experienced driver, and we felt very safe being in the car with him. Also, the car was in great condition, almost a new one. Accommodations were also good. Our favorite place was Signature Luxery Camp in Central Serengeti. And the best food was at Sopa Lodge. We also stopped at Massai village, and it was more than we expected. A lot of process))) a completely different mentality and a lifestyle. We highly recommend Gosheni and Hassan as a tour guide for anyone who wants to experience a great African vacation 😀

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Golden Trips Tanzania
After comparing several quotes for a safari experience, we chose Golden Trips Tanzania - and we’re so glad we did. From the outset, Leticia was incredibly patient and efficient, helping us craft the perfect itinerary. Not only did she tailor the trip to our preferences, but she also proposed higher-quality accommodation than some competitors, all at a competitive price.
Our 7-day journey began at Kilimanjaro Airport and took us through Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Eastern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and finally to the Northern Serengeti, before flying out from Kogatende Airstrip to Zanzibar.
Leticia handled every detail seamlessly, from airport pickup and safari accommodation to dietary requirements, park entry bookings, a hot air balloon experience in the Northern Serengeti, and our departure flight. Her organisation made the entire trip stress-free.
The accommodation she arranged was excellent: Heart and Soul Lodge in Lake Manyara, Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, Kumbukumbu Luxury Tented Camp in the Serengeti, and Ang’ata Migration Camp. All were first-class, though the migration camp was perhaps a bit remote from the Mara River crossings. You can find our detailed reviews of each on TripAdvisor.
The highlight, of course, was the safari itself. Each day we enjoyed full-day game drives in a comfortable, spacious private Land Cruiser with large windows and an open roof, perfect for wildlife viewing. The vehicle was stocked with water, soft drinks, and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. Each park offered something unique in terms of landscape and wildlife, and we were never disappointed: elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, hyenas, baboons, warthogs, hippo, mongoose, ostriches, storks, cranes, flamingos, eagles, vultures, crocodiles and countless gazelle and antelope species were all spotted regularly.
A special mention must go to our guide and driver, Edward. Engaging, friendly, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable, Edward had an uncanny ability to spot elusive animals and position us perfectly for unforgettable sightings, including the secretary bird, lions, cheetahs, jackals, servals and leopards, and even, in the distance, two elusive black rhinos. Thanks to Edward, we witnessed three major migration crossings over two days, a rare and spectacular experience. Each evening, Edward joined us for dinner, sharing insights from the day and discussing plans for the next. His passion and expertise truly elevated our safari—he was an integral part of what made our trip so memorable.

We had an excellent experience
We had an excellent experience with our African tour guide George! Firstly, he was highly professional and a true gentleman, making the entire journey both secure and comfortable. Secondly, his daily briefings were exceptionally clear, and he adeptly adapted the itinerary to accommodate our requests. Furthermore, beyond skillfully guiding us to spot animals, he provided insightful explanations about their behaviors and habits, which greatly enriched our knowledge throughout the tour.

8 days Masai Mara/Nakuru/Navisha/Amboseli
The JungleRoam safari was good value for money. Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was spectacular, making it worth the long drive.
Our driver and guide, Albert, did everything possible to ensure we saw all the animals in the different parks and reserves. This allowed us to see all the Big 5. However, we missed Albert's ability to be more communicative, as he often gave limited information about the animals. His driving skills were excellent despite the poor road conditions, heavy truck traffic, and frequent phone calls.
The SUV was an 8-seater Toyota Land Cruiser, similar to most other companies. It's worth noting that several seats in the car had broken seatbelts, and despite our reporting and requesting that they be fixed, as we had long drives on roads and tracks ahead of us, we were ignored.
We also hired a Spanish-speaking guide named Moses, who served as our co-pilot, to give us interesting information about the animals. His treatment was friendly, and on the first day he accompanied us to the bank to withdraw money and shared his mobile internet connection with us. His Spanish level was adequate, although he probably needs to continue improving his understanding of conversations, as he often resorted to saying "Yes, yes" when he didn't understand. We felt that on several occasions communication failed, either by giving us incorrect information or by not providing it regarding important logistical aspects. Furthermore, we had the feeling that he simply translated what Albert was saying, and we were constantly having to ask him questions.
We upgraded our Masai Mara hotel (Jambo Mara Safari Lodge), a fact we appreciated when comparing it to other travelers' basic camps. We noticed improvements in the room, hot water, and especially in the restaurant, which had a wide variety (it was the best of the entire trip), although the food boxes for the excursions were scarce and even worse than those in the basic accommodations. We chose the basic hotels for the rest of the hotels, and they met our expectations. Although the meals were repetitive and basic, we assume this is a common occurrence given the low prices.
