Absolutely Fabulous
I'm local born but have been away since forever. We chose Tailor Made Safaris for their lopcal knowledge and personal service and boy did they live up to expectations. They really helped us chose the best locations and places to stay and their info packages is one of the best I've ever had (and we've been on many safari's).
Really helpful and friendly staff so that we could focus on what we came for: The Safari

Easiest way to self drive in Namibia
A huge thank you to Anita and her team for helping us organize our recent Namibia holiday. She arranged 7 different accommodations over 10 days and a rental 4x4 - and all were perfect for our needs. This was by far the easiest way we could have imagined getting it done and we were given so much additional advice and information that it felt like we were being spoilt.
Anita was so patient in answering all of my questions. Upon arrival in Windhoek, we received a welcome packet which included a highlighted map (tracking our entire journey) and a SIM card with some airtime already loaded - classy touch! I cannot recommend The Cardboard Box Travel Shop enough.

It is one of the most amazing experiences I've done in my life!
I contacted several safari tour companies, but It Started In Africa, exceeded my expectations. They were very quick in answering all my emails and patiently answered all my questions. Joao and Luis were the best! The price was also very reasonable considering the type of tour we had...private just for 2 people with mid range accommodations. They fed us well...so well that I gained all that weight I lost during my Kilimanjaro climb. Our tour guide, Nasari, was very knowledgeable. He really made an effort to see almost all the animals especially the big 5! Every night somebody from the company, Silvia, called us and checked on how our day went. The experience was great from beginning to end. I highly recommend this company. I'm hoping that the rest of my family and closest friends in the USA, will do this adventure one day with It Started In Aftica. They will never be sorry! Thank you! Asana Sante!

Unforgettable experience!
In November 2015 I made my first Safari in Tanzania with Agama Tours and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect organized: the hotels outside the parks were very comfortable, the 2 nights of camping in the middle of Serengeti were a great adventure and the food we got was delicious. Our guide was very skillful and competent. He knows all the best places for the game watching and we were able to see lots of animals on our 5 day-tour around Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I highly recommend Agama Tour to everyone who wants to make an unforgettable experience in Tanzania’s beautiful nature, see a wide range of different animals, be accompanied by nice staff and this all for a very appropriate price.

Excellent Safari Tour! Great service and super friendly, knowledgeble guide!
We went for a 3 nights 4 days Safari tour with Kanuth Adventure Safaris. I can highly recommend the tour. Our guide Joseph was super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful person. We not only had a lot of fun but also learnt a lot about the animals in Selous. Not only that but also about the culture of Tanzania. The lodge was fine. We choose a budget option but it was much better then our expectation. The food was great as well, above expectation too! During this time it had been raining a lot as well, but we did see a lot of animals anyways like lion, hyena, hippo, zebras and so on :) It was a great trip and could definitely go again.

Reliable service, great driver
We hired a bus that took us through Nairobi, Arusha and Mombasa for a charity drive we had planned.
Having our own private bus made the trip MUCH easier and much more comfortable.
The driver, Patrick, was fabulous and really looked out for the crew.
There were some minor mechanical issues with the bus and the company arranged [an albeit smaller] replacement vehicle quite quickly
Overall a great experience

It was an outstanding experience
Hamadi was great in everything he set up. Our experience couldn't have been any greater. It's true that the trip wasn't cheap, but we had one of the most amazing experiences in our life. We look forward to meet Hamadi again, a good friend of us already, since we started to miss Africa from the very first day we were back in Europe. Thank you for everything, you and your team are extremely great!

The best safari company out there
Eight of us did a 5 day safari after climbing Kilimanjaro. Bush 2 City is simply the best. Our drivers/guides where extremely knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and always happy. Even from the interactions with the guides from competing companies you could tell that our guides were the most highly respected. The took care of everything for us and if you had a special request they would try to deliver. They are also a locally owned and operated Tanzanian company -- so the profits stay in the community. They are also extremely well priced since there is no western company skimming of the profits. I was just looking at an add from a popular western company -- they want almost 4 times what we paid for the same trip. Excellent value. Excellent company. Excellent service. Excellent people.

Disappointing i m afraid though maybe ok for first time visitors to Africa
We travelled Johannesburg to Victoria falls last November. The truck was full to capacity at 12 plus provisions and was far too cramped. We had two guides, only one of whom could drive the vehicle and he was by far the better at his job. The second guide had preferred clients and was often rude to those not among them; his knowledge was poor, demonstrated at the zimbabwean border crossing when we found his visa advice to be incorrect and more generally in terms of local traditions. Group integration was poor based on our worldwide experience. The farewell event was pointedly only open to those favoured few.
However, the local park-based guides were really good. We saw all the animals we hoped to see and more thanks to them. No complaints about the food either.
