Our trip went very well, right from the start Silver Spark helped us. Special mention to Kepha and Abongo who made our trip really memorable.
We booked an 8-day safari with Silver Spark Africa. Abongo, responds quickly to inquiries. This was my first safari in Africa, so I didn’t know what to expect: a competitive quote, excellent service, integrity, a reliable vehicle and a world class experience that is both unforgettable and safe all I could have asked for from them.
We are patrons of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, so this safari was customized to allow us to spend time with foster elephant babies at both Ithumba and the Voi Stockade, as well as the Nairobi Nursery. Peter was also our driver, always punctual with our visitation schedule at the orphanages.
Ithumba must be the only place on earth where one can view wild elephants in such large numbers as they mingle with the orphans and other support workers, such an extraordinary experience.
We enjoyed several game drives in Tsavo West and East National Park. Peter, has a good eye and strong instinct when it comes to viewing wildlife.

My best African safari to date!
I've done safaris in Kenya, Botswana, and South Africa, but none have come close to my wonderful experience in Uganda. From the start, Peter at Buyaga Safaris helped me plan all aspects of my 8-day safari, fielded all my questions, and exercised the utmost professionalism. He even checked on my visa application for me when it seemed to be taking too long. Then, once I arrived, I was met by Ossman, a vibrant, smart, and capable tourguide and driver who made my wild-cat dreams come through: we spotted 14 lions and my first leopard! Ossman took care of everything perfectly, and I just had to show up, relax, and enjoy the experience. The vehicle was really nice also. All in all 10/10, I highly recommend Buyaga.

I had the most incredible experience with Wild Wonder Safari Co. during my 10-day trip this past December. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly planned and seamlessly executed, from airport pickup to our final drop-off. Every day was thoughtfully mapped out with unforgettable activities, and it was clear how much care and effort went into making our journey truly special.
One of the major highlights of our trip was spending a few nights inside Kruger National Park. It was absolutely amazing. We saw such a wide variety of animals, not just the Big Five, but many others that made each game drive unique and exciting.
Our guide, Keegan, was exceptional. He took great care of us and really considered our family’s interests, going above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made every moment even more memorable.

Unforgettable Safari with the Best Guide – James GiChina!
James GiChina made our Kenya safari absolutely magical! From tracking lions at sunrise in the Masai Mara to watching a herd of elephants cross right in front of our jeep, every moment felt straight out of a dream. He patiently waited with us as we spotted cheetahs in action, found hippos lounging in Lake Naivasha, and even surprised us with a close-up view of a rare rhino. His deep knowledge of wildlife and warm, accommodating nature made us feel safe, excited, and completely cared for. Truly the heart of our safari adventure!

Excellent and reliable safari tour operator
We joined the 5 day Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari plus 2 days city tour in Nairobi. Phine Safaris exceeded our expectations in many areas. Perpetua was very responsive and excellent in communication and coordination before and throughout the trip. Our safari guide was very professional and worked hard to find the big 5 and many other animals. Our tour was ‘mid-range’ and the accommodations and food were above our expectations. The safari 4X4 vehicle was comfortable despite the bumpy road conditions. . The hotel, vehicle and driver for the city tour were also great. This was our first safari and it was such a smooth and unforgettable trip. We felt the tour was priced reasonably. I would not hesitate to recommend Phine Safaris to anyone looking for a reliable safari tour operator.

Kenya safari better than we expected.
We had a fantastic safari experience with James Gichina as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every game drive exciting and informative. His sharp eye helped us spot the Big Five and so much more, all while making us feel safe and welcome throughout. James’s passion for wildlife and Kenya truly shone through. I chose Jocky Tours because they were very prompt with their responses, offered a competitive price, and had thousands of great reviews.
All the drivers from pickup to drop off were friendly, reliable, on time and very helpful. James our main driver/guude definitely used his network and driving skills to find us the best animals for viewing and taking pictures. Thank you!
The only thing that was a bit less great is that because Jocky is a big company with lots of guests, I think I somehow expected that there would be enough people to put similar tours and travel styles (budget, luxury etc) together so the rest of the people in the group joining tour would also be staying in similar accommodation and doing the same amount of days.. this wasn’t the case. While the group was cool and we got along, people were on 3/5/7 day tours and all booked from different agencies — so there was a bit of confusion as there were differing expectations, and also a bit of movement in group members as people finished their tour and moved on while others stayed and new ones joined. Then there was the time spent dropping off / picking up from different hotels. I am not sure if maybe this is because it is not yet high season in July and so we have to combine tours but my feeling is that it would be way more efficient if we were all on the same tour / accommodation level.
Still all in all a great experience - we saw the Big Five, took lots of pictures and had a great time - and we didn’t have to worry about accomodation, transport, entrance fees, food in all my 5 days there so for that I thank Jocky and guide James. Asante sana.
I have spoken to a few guides and they all say Jocky is one of the best and most experienced tour operators so I guess you can’t go wrong picking them.
