Safari experience of a lifetime delivered!
Meektrails Safari organised a five day private tour, including Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Maasai Mara. We stayed at Sopa Lodges and Zebra Plains Camp and our driver, guide and mentor for the trip was the quite incredible James. Simply put, James's warm humour, brilliant driving, and unbeatable knowledge and experience, ensured that we had a fabulous week. There's a lot of driving in very challenging traffic, on often truly awful and dusty roads, but this never distracted from what was a once in a lifetime adventure. The tour operator was genuinely trustworthy, and the driver was reliable and highly skilled.
I booked my trip through WeChat with their customer service team, and the communication throughout was smooth and enjoyable. Once I arrived in Tanzania, I was fortunate to be assigned an incredibly experienced driver and guide named Benald.
Benald was not only highly professional in tracking wildlife, but also very patient and committed. During our visit to the Mara River crossing, he took us to four different locations, waiting with us for nearly four hours — thanks to his expertise and persistence, we witnessed the dramatic wildebeest crossing, something many other tourists missed due to lack of patience. We were lucky enough to see the tail end of a second crossing later on, and during our final attempt, we only had to wait five minutes before another large group of wildebeest crossed right in front of us.
He also found us an ideal spot to observe lions for an entire afternoon, managing to secure a prime viewing location despite the high demand and pressure. Throughout the trip, Benald was incredibly hardworking, respectful, and calm. With him by our side, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. His experience, patience, and dedication made our safari unforgettable.

Very well organized and pleasant tour
Our safari in Mikumi National Park with Danford and Donald was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they made the experience seamless, fun, and full of unforgettable moments. Both were extremely knowledgeable about the park, wildlife behavior, and even the smaller details that made every sighting more meaningful.
Donald’s sharp eye for spotting animals was amazing — we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and so many bird species we would’ve completely missed without him. Danford was an excellent driver and made sure we were always in the best position for photos while keeping things safe and comfortable throughout the journey.

Tour was great, we got to see all and more of the animals we wanted and enjoyed the company of Danford and Donald. Danford was very educative and took the time to drive around finding the fight spots while Donald helped spot the animals and kept us engaged. We enjoyed our time very much and highly recommend.

Truly the best!
We had the most amazing experience with Mountain Warriors Tours and Safaris! We spent two days in the Serengeti and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater, and we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. Our guide, Innocent, was THE BEST – so knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organised, great value for money, and we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Truly a once in a lifetime adventure!
