Amazing
5/5

We were fetched from the Melrose Arch hotel by Godfrey, he was very patient with us and we had a smooth journey to Pilansberg. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Moloko our tour guide for the day, she was amazing, she stopped every time we spotted animals and described the animal behaviour and personalities, answered all questions everyone asked! I would definitely like to come back and hope to have Moloko as my tour driver again❤️

Abantubo are everything one needs in a operator, professional, dynamic to changes and efficient.
5/5

I moved my Gorilla trekking plans up by two weeks at the last moment due to work delays, within 24 hours the Abantubo team had everything changed and secured and I was supposed to be on a plane until Rwanda Air cancelled my flight, bumped me to next flight, 11 hours later. Abantubo team got it all sorted before I landed. Tour ran like clockwork under the watchful eye of my guide Adams. Always in communication- main reason I originally chose Abantubo was the efficiency of feedback and eagerness to get back to me with requests at a very affordable costing. Tour included 4 borders, 3 hotels, 4 hikes, 4 meetings with Gorilla families (we were rather fortunate I believe) Golden Monkeys on our doorstep, Dian Fossey Research Centre hike and the Genocide museum. Whirlwind trip over 6 days but all ran super smoothly.cannot recommend Abantubo enough.

Magwar Escapades was a great company to plan our short but excellent safari with.
5/5

My husband and I are quite happy that we chose Magwar Escapades to put together our Safari in Kenya this April. Our wonderful driver and guide Robert really made the trip special with his professionalism and knowledge of the areas we visited. Incredible driving skills as well.
An unexpected event just before leaving for Kenya resulted in rather hectic final preparations. Because of this I left our binoculars behind and didn’t even think about them until after I had arrived in Kenya. However our contact Ephie managed to organize binoculars for us to borrow in the places we stayed. Much appreciated!
I’m sure we’ll contact Magwar Escapes for any future trips to Kenya.

A stunning day out
5/5

Organising the tour with a last minute addition through Operator and Viator was a breeze! We started out our trip with Godfrey racing us through to Pilanesberg after picking us up at Hotel!
When we arrived at Pilanesberg we transferred to the lovely and vibrant Molokwe’s game viewing vehicle! Molokwe was infinitely patient with us and we managed to find 4 of the big five! We were blessed with beautiful weather!
We then proceeded to have a truly African lunch cooked by Isaac and the team!

After lunch we took a beautiful route through streams and up and down the hills! Game viewing was slow after lunch as animals are resting!

The roads in Pilanesberg are really badly potholed and bumpy after the rain, so trip was quite bone jarring!

Roads apart we had a beautiful day!
