Wonderful Cheap private tour with very experienced operator
5/5

It was a very nice experience. We were picked up at the ferry from mafia island at no extra cost. Very experienced, friendly and nice tour operator. We slept directly next to the river close to national park entrance were u were able to see hippos sunset and crocos. Room had everything food was nice and it was a small lodge. Sunset cruise was really nice and took 3h.
The day visit was great and we are most of the time alone with no other cars. Even saw a leopard.
Just the walking safari at the next day was a joke. The “bushmen” was just a tourist attraction. No animals or other stuff. Only bad jokes. Don’t do the walking safari.

A Truly Unforgettable and Amazing Experience
5/5

Our safari was an experience of a lifetime and much of that is thanks to Pepi for planning an outstanding trip and Stewart our incredible guide.

From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully arranged. Pepi crafted an itinerary that perfectly balanced wildlife, culture, scenery, and relaxation. The logistics were seamless- accommodations, transfers, and activities all flowed effortlessly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the journey without a single worry.

Stewart, our guide, was exceptional. His knowledge of Nambia's wildlife, landscape, and history was remarkable, and his passion for the country made every moment richer. He has a gift for spotting animals, reading the landscape, and knowing where to be at just the right time. Beyond his expertise, Stewart was warm, patient, fun, and genuinely made us feel cared for throughout the entire trip. We always felt safe, informed, and inspired.

Highlights of our trip included the 4 x 4 tour of Sandwich Harbor, the amazing dunes of Sossusvlei, unforgettable wildlife at Etosha, the humbling visit to the Himba tribe, and Devil's pool at Victoria Falls. This was more than a holiday-- it was a life changing experience.
I would do this trip again and again.

Once in a lifetime experience to see gorillas
5/5

We booked a 2 day Gorilla Tracking Tour from Kigali through Dav Safaris and had an excellent experience! Our agent, Reagan was organized and prompt with responding to our emails. On our tour, our driver Charles was very good and navigated bumpy and rough roads very well. We stayed overnight in Kisoro, and had an early morning drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to start our morning Gorilla Tracking. The park rangers brought our group of 8 on a 2.5 hour hike in the to track the current location of the Gorilla family; the terrain was bushy but not too steep. We would highly recommend Mgahinga as the one gorilla family there is large and social! We saw 3 silverbacks, several adult gorillas, one adolescent and one 2 month old gorilla. The animals are very gentle and came up very close to us. It was an unbelievable experience seeing these amazing animals only a few meters away. We spent 1 hour with the gorillas taking photos of every gorilla in the family. After the tracking hike we were driven back to Kigali.

If you are looking to see the gorillas in the wild, I would really recommend booking with Dav Safaris as they are very experienced and professional. It is less expensive to see the gorillas in Uganda, and flying into Kigali is the closest airport. Remember to get your e-visa for Uganda in advance.

Beautiful 10-days safari But special attention to the car is definitely necessary
4/5

Beautiful 10-day safari with Destiny Explorers

We arrived in Arusha 2 days before the elections and wanted to leave as soon as possible due to the expected unrest. Destiny Explorers and Issa Hamisi were very helpful and put together a safari trip within half a day that exactly met our wishes.
We opted for a 10-day private tour with 9 nights.

It was absolutely a great trip and everything was very well arranged. Compliments for this all the more because everything was so short in advance and there were major internet problems nationwide.

Our guide and driver, David, was very friendly and knowledgeable.
He had the car completely under control, even though it was very old and worn out.
The 4-wheel drive no longer seems suitable for this kind of safari. It has a worn-out interior; the cooling and brake systems (leaks) were faulty, which made us finally feel unsafe despite our excellent driver.

The lodges where we stayed were of good quality and the food was fine.

The payment of our trip was quite difficult.
We booked on the spot, this also had to be paid on the spot. Online with credit card or directly via our bank was not possible due to missing IBAN number of the Tanzanian bank. Finally paid via Revolut which we have been working on for about three days because these kinds of amounts are extreme checks. Received scam warnings which caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

So a number of points of attention for this fairly young organization.

Furthermore, an absolutely great trip!
