This safari was life changing!!
5/5

Our safari in Tanzania was unforgettable, and that’s greatly thanks to our incredible guide Daudi. From the moment we met him, his warm energy, deep knowledge, and genuine passion for wildlife set the tone for an exceptional experience. He didn’t just show us animals, he brought the entire landscape to life with stories, insights, and details you could never get from a book or video. We were picked up from the airport in Kilimanjaro safely and quickly by Herald and got us straight to our first amazing lodge. We got to visit local shops and see Tanzanian life. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

During the safari, Daudi’s ability to spot wildlife was unreal. Lions resting in the shade, cheetahs in the distance, hidden leopards in the trees — he saw everything long before we did. But what impressed us even more was how he explained each animal’s behavior in a way that made every moment feel special and meaningful.

He was patient, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable. Whether it was finding the perfect viewpoint, adjusting the pace to fit our group, or answering every question with enthusiasm, he went above and beyond every single day. We felt safe, cared for, and incredibly lucky to be with someone who clearly loves what he does.

This wasn’t just a safari, it was an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives, and our guide was a huge reason why. If you’re planning a trip to Tanzania, do yourself a favor and ask for Enjoyable Nature Safaris. They turned a dream trip into something even better.

Very quick to respond to questions and conducted a very seamless transaction
5/5

While looking for a safari adventure that satisfied both our timeline and budget, Jocky Tours provided the best fit. They were able to answer back quickly to any questions I had before committing to a tour (3-day private Masai Mara tour with a visit to a Maasai Village). They asked for a down payment (amount was left up to me and paid for a few weeks in advance) and the rest of the amount was fulfilled just right before the start of the tour.

Once the tour was fully paid, we were introduced to our driver and tour guide, Peter Kapino, who helped put our luggage in the land cruiser and we were off to our safari adventure. We stopped at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way to take some pics. Afterwards, Peter showed us some baboons chilling on the road along the way. Overall, our drive to our accomodations (Enkorok Mara Camp) was safe and fast. We arrived there just in time for lunch (provided), and after talking with Peter, we met up again at 4PM for an evening drive. Peter was very prompt and arrived on time. Once we were in the reserve, Peter stopped by any group of animals we came across with and explained quite well what each animal group is (and also so we can take photos). We saw so many: zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, etc. Peter was in constant communication with the other tour guides in the park in case they come across other animals, and sure enough, he was told about a lioness and her cubs chilling in the bushes and off we went! What a way to cap off our first day in the reserve.

Our second day started off early (again, Peter was on time) and similar to the first day, Peter was able to take us to animals you just don't see on the main road. He tried to take us to see leopards (twice!) but these elusive animals hid in the bushes both times. We saw a couple of cheetahs, some warthogs, and more of the animals we saw on the first day (btw, Peter has very good eyesight! He can spot an animal from very far away). For lunch, Peter brought us to a quiet area by the Mara River to eat as we watch hippos swimming in the water. Afterwards we tried to look for leopards, but to no avail. They are so elusive! We saw more elephants, zebras, and giraffes as we headed back to our camp.

The third day Peter brought us to a Maasai Village, and what an experience. It was great knowing more about Maasai culture and we were even able to participate in dancing with the Maasai. The villagers also sold souvenirs for those who may be looking for one. Again, our drive back was very safe and quick.

I highly recommend getting Jocky Tours (and Peter Kapino) as your tour operator on your safari!

Perfectly organized - breathtaking experience
5/5

Given the broad variety of tour operators - we picked the perfect one for us. 3 days, 2 nights, Samburu and Ol Pejeta with the experienced guide and driver Daniel. Breathtaking landscapes, the proud and beautiful animals, an unforgettable experience. We did see the Big 5 (and learned that there are some other 5s as well). A group of 20 elephants at a river crossing right at the beginning - the Safari already started on a high note.
Daniel was fun, found the right balance in communication. As a driver he made us feel safe all the way. Something you will appreciate in Kenya’s traffic. Communication with Lewis Mugo at the head office was great, too, WhatsApp being the tool of choice. We paid by credit card through a link with one of the national payment solution providers. 100% recommendable! Thanks for an amazing time!

Thank you for a wonderful experience. Everything went fine from the very beginning. We had the best people possible to customize our safari according to our needs. They were extremely professional and also flexible when some issues came along the way! We appreciated it very much.

Our special thanks to OSWALD (OZZY), our excellent guide. Not only was professional at all times, but also friendly and smiling, punctual, with a great sense of humour and the best eyesight ever! We were really comfortable with him at all times and was a huge parte of our amazing safari. We highly recommend him. Jambo, Ozzy!

Knowledgeable, kind, and amazing.
5/5

We chose the mid-luxury 11 night Tanzanian safari package. Lightness was my contact for booking and couldn’t have been more helpful. She truly went above and beyond. This trip to Tanzania has been a lifetime dream of mine and she really took that into account helping me plan.

All of our accommodations were beautiful. I even added an additional day at our first hotel, which was stunning.

Our guide, Joshua, was fantastic! We truly believe we formed a friendship with him and couldn’t have wished for a better person to help us experience the culture of Tanzania and the animals we were lucky enough to encounter.

We had three lunches in the bush right out in the open wild. It was magical and beautiful. I would say, for me, I would have spent the final days back in Arusha as opposed to Zanzibar. The hotel was lovely as were the people but the humidity was wild. Very very hot and sweaty. But seeing and swimming in the Indian Ocean was an experience I am very glad I experienced!

My husband and I had the best time, saw the beautiful scenery of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, took thousands of photos of the wildlife, and will remember this for a lifetime.

I have already recommended Brilliant Safaris, specifically Lightness and Joshua, to friends. Magical would be the best word to describe the entire experience.

My wife and I went on a 2 week safari with Morningstar in Kenya and it was incredible. Our consultant, Dennis, helped to create a great itenary that was tailored to the experiences we wanted and it was superbly put together. James was a very fun , energetic , knowledgeable and friendly Safari guide and we were genuinely sad to say goodbye to him at the end of the trip. We can't fault this company at all. They helped make our trip memorable and special so thank you!!

Great Value and Reliable Personal Service
5/5

This was our first trip to Africa and our first Safari experience, and we are so very glad we found Emma at Off 2 Africa. I began my search online not knowing what to find or expect, we weren't sure what or who we could rely on for travel arrangements. From the first correspondence and up front quotes, we knew we were in good hands. Emma was easy to reach and always responded within hours. I felt like we could afford the mid range safari experience and relied on Emma to book it in it's entirety while making suggestions to customize our trip. We wanted a few days to recover from Jetlag traveling from the US, so Emma recommended Cape Town. What a lovely city and great place to see and unwind. I felt that the cost was also very reasonable for all that we received. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations all along the tour from Cape Town, to the Safari. We ran into a travel emergency and Emma was there to respond immediately and very helpful arranging transport and Doctors. And also checked in all the time and offered support and guidance which we greatly appreciated. Our hats off to Emma and Off 2 Africa for organizing our amazing trip to South Africa.

Jessica-every trip detail was perfect & provided unforgettable surprise experiences
5/5

This was a trip of a lifetime to Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Chobe River, Botswana. Every detail was attended to. We had the beautiful comfortable accommodation and every meal was delicious. There were so many surprises beyond all the amazing wildlife that we came to see-night game drive; lunch out on the Serengeti with animals in the distance; picnic lunch with monkeys more than happy to try and steal the food; dining under the stars with candle light; seeing the sun set in the distance while we enjoyed wine and appetizers; sunrises with lions nearby; wonderful safari guides Steven John and Mokili who were so knowledgeable, fun, entertaining, efficient. So many special moments. The lodge staff anticipated our every need and made us feel so comfortable. They were so warm and welcoming and absolutely delightful. They kept us safe escorting us past various wild beast hanging around our lodging. We experienced a visit to a Maasai Boma-so interesting to learn about their lifestyle. From peaceful surroundings to Cape Town where we experienced a culture shock of noise and busyness and there too enjoyed what the area offered. The saying "you get what you pay for" is true and we were not disappointed at all.

We came home to speak of our wonderful experiences and our daughter and husband and friends are now excitedly planning a future trip with Jessica/Dancing Zebras.

Friendly, experienced and knowledgeable
5/5

Dominic that manage Kentau was really great setting up a fantastic trip and also helped out during the trip when we needed to make an additional ad hoc train booking and payment.
This in combination with our great guide Fred that guided us to, within and back from Masai Mara was a magnificent experience.
Fred’s way of driving and respecting the wildlife was really great. That in combination with his knowledge about animals and fauna made this trip an amazing journey. Can strongly recommend Kentau :)
