Best trip ever!
We have just returned from the most incredible trip to Kenya, planned perfectly by Tour with Pipi in Africa, and it was honestly the best trip we have ever been on.
From start to finish, every detail was flawlessly organised. Our journey took us from Nairobi to Naivasha (Lake Nakuru) then on to the Maasai Mara for an unforgettable safari experience. We stayed at the beautiful Pearl Mara resort, where we enjoyed breathtaking wildlife encounters and exceptional hospitality. From there, we travelled to Chale Island, often described as the Maldives of Kenya, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation with its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and peaceful atmosphere.
We then visited Mombasa, a vibrant city rich in culture and history. One of the highlights was an amazing food tour with the wonderful Chef Chiquila, who introduced us to the flavours and traditions of the region in such a memorable and authentic way.
What made this trip truly special was how well “Tour with Pipi in Africa” listened to our needs as a family travelling with our one year old daughter. As a mother, I value routine because it helps keep my daughter happy, calm, and content. The team completely respected that. They carefully designed an itinerary that allowed us to enjoy everything Kenya has to offer without exhausting our baby or disrupting her feeding and sleeping schedule. We never felt rushed, and every transfer and activity was timed thoughtfully.
Most importantly, we felt safe throughout the entire trip. Our daughter remained healthy and happy from beginning to end, which gave us enormous peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience.
The professionalism, attention to detail, local knowledge, and genuine care shown by the team exceeded all our expectations. If you are considering a trip to Africa—especially as a family—we cannot recommend Tour with Pipi in Africa highly enough. They created memories that we will treasure for a lifetime, and we are already dreaming about our next adventure with them!

Sam and Ben Made Our Tanzania Safari Unforgettable
We had an incredible Tanzania safari experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to Sam and Ben, who were absolutely amazing throughout the entire trip. Their knowledge of the parks, the wildlife, and the best times and locations to spot animals made every single game drive memorable. They knew exactly where to take us and when to be there, which made a real difference in what we got to see.
Managing a group of 10 is no small task, but they handled it with ease and stayed incredibly flexible with our pace, preferences, and changes along the way. The photographer who joined us was also fantastic and captured the trip beautifully.
The warm bowls served daily on the drives were a lovely touch, and the food overall was okay, nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine. What really stood out was how kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming the whole team was.
Highly recommend, especially for larger groups looking for a personalized experience.

Fantastic family safari
We had an amazing 5-day family safari with our guide, Mustafa. The day before we left, Levina and Mustafa came and met us personally and took us shopping for some medicine we needed. We felt that we were in good hands from the very beginning. We were always informed about what would take place the next day and the jeep was spotless every morning and cold drinks were always available. We got to see the big 5 and SO much more thanks to Mustafa's expertise and staying in touch with other guides. We learned a lot about the nature as well as the people of Tanzania. It was an unforgettable experience and feels like it was all a dream. Our huge thanks to Levina and Mustafa!

We booked a 3-day safari with Nakilenge Tour and have absolutely wonderful memories of it!
Upon our arrival at the airport, we were greeted by Yussuf and his brother. Very welcoming, attentive, and professional, they explained the itinerary during the drive to our hotel and ensured everything was perfectly organized for the following days.
The next day, we met our guide, Iddy, who accompanied us for the 3-day safari. He speaks excellent French, is passionate about his work, attentive, experienced, and incredibly kind. Thanks to his expertise and incredible observation skills, we were able to see many animals, some of which were difficult to spot, including leopards and cheetahs up close. In just three days, we were lucky enough to see the famous Big Five: lion, rhinoceros, buffalo, leopard, and elephant. Our itinerary included two days in the Serengeti and a day at the Ngorongoro Crater, an absolutely unforgettable experience.
The accommodations were magnificent. We spent a night in a lodge located in the heart of Serengeti National Park, right in the middle of the savanna. Sleeping in a luxurious tent while hearing lions and hyenas in the distance made the experience even more magical. The buffets were excellent, varied, and of high quality. During the safaris, we also enjoyed local meals prepared by the different accommodations, all of which were delicious.
The 4x4 vehicle was spacious and comfortable, with drinks available (water, Coca-Cola, Sprite, etc.), which made the journeys very pleasant.
We were also touched by the warm welcome of the Tanzanians, who were always smiling and kind. A little tip for future travelers:
pack a sweater or warm clothing for early morning departures, as temperatures are cool at sunrise before rising to around 25 to 30°C during the day.
Finally, a huge thank you to Yussuf for his support from the beginning to the end of our trip. Upon our return to the airport, he took the time to review everything with us. My partner fell ill on the last day, and Yussuf went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of: bottled water, regular stops without us even having to ask... a thoughtful touch we greatly appreciated.

James and Harrison were our drivers for our 10 day journey through the mountain dirt roads of Eburru, the busy and challenging highways across the Great Rift Valley, the city streets of Nairobi and the safari adventures in Nakuru. They were highly knowledgeable of every animal, every question about culture. They were able to answer clearly with an understandable accent, and good English. They had fun personalities and it was easy to talk to them about just about anything. They were always reliable and on time. When I was sick and needed medical attention they immediately went out of their way to get me to the right pharmacy. We will definitely use them again!

Unforgettable First Safari
We just returned from our very first safari experience in Kenya, full of beautiful memories.
After researching several companies, I chose Explorers Wild Adventures for their reviews and fair pricing. I reached out with our preferences, and they customized a 6-day, 5-night itinerary for us (2 nights Masai Mara, 1 night Nakuru, 2 nights Amboseli).
Our accommodations were wonderful. We stayed at the Sopa Lodges in Masai Mara and Nakuru, and the Sentrim Lodge in Amboseli. Sentrim had a true "camp" feel that made us feel right at home in nature.
The absolute highlight of our trip was our guide, Bernard. He was punctual every day, very knowledgeable, and determined to help us spot wildlife. Thanks to him, we learned so much about Kenya too and saw every animal, including cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, lions, and hippos.
My highlights:
- An open-air picnic lunch in the Masai Mara.
- Walking near the river at the Kenya/Tanzania border to see hippos.
- Being the first to spot two lionesses walking right alongside our vehicle.
- Seeing both a cheetah and a leopard on our game drives.
- A guided nature walk in Nakuru, stepping right alongside giraffes and zebras.
We came home with memories from what we thought would be a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip, but we loved it so much, I am sure we will be back to Kenya one day!

One Operator with it All: Knowledge, Experience, Fun
We did a 4-day/ 3-night Skukuza & Lower Sabie tour with Wild Planet in late May/early June.
From planning to execution, Wild Planet delivered a superb experience offering us a tailor-made, iterative experience that combined elements to address our expectations while fine tuning it with their vast experience.
In delivery- the professionalism we experienced during the planning continued.
Our guide (Ryan) was super knowledgeable about the park and its inhabitants which made the experience one of a kind.
Each meal we had was different, well prepared and delicious.
Despite the amount of work and the stress associated with running a whole tour with a million things to plan, our guide did everything seamlessly and remained fun to be around.
Re: animals, having a knowledgeable guide makes a huge difference in the overall experience- and turns it into a fun, adventurous learning experience.
It is always good to keep expectations tempered when it comes to animal sighting because they are not there to entertain us and we are lucky if we get to observe a slice of their lives. We were lucky to see many animals and observe unforgettable moments and our guide’s knowledge made tangible difference.
