Highly recommend
The short version: Afrimine has definitely delivered an unforgettable experience with excellent communication, knowledge and flexibility during the planning and execution of our safari. They made us feel like VIPs and the use of experienced guides and additional local guides in the various regions provided us with amazing experiences.
The longer version: We wanted to do a 3 week visit to Tanzania that included game drives, cultural visits and physical activities, such as mountain biking and day hikes. Afrimine was one of the only travel companies that understood our wishes and iteratively proposed an itinerary that included the activities we wanted to do and sights we wanted to see. The communication with Anderson and Antje was excellent: they presented suggestions and proposed additional activities that fitted our interests and demonstrated clear knowledge of the area and what places to avoid or specifically visit in the month of March.
During the trip Anderson and his team managed to make us feel important to them. We were extremely well taken care of, both at Anderson’s lodge in Moshi, but also by the guides Anderson paired us with during the trip: James Mbise was the best safari guide we could have wished for, he loves animals and nature, his knowledge and willingness to share is exceptional, and he knows a lot about the region, the Maasai and other cultures. On top of that, James was just an awesome person to spend time with.
For the later, more active stage of the trip that involved less game drives, we had Mr. Happiness and Christian as guides/drivers. While they did not demonstrate the same level of knowledge on wildlife as James, they did everything they could to make the trip unforgettable for us. Also, during this part of the trip we had excellent local guides for many of the activities we participated in, including Eli for the Usambara mountains, and George for a 3 day mountain biking tour.
We also really appreciate the flexibility offered by all the staff. On one resting day we had booked in, we asked Anderson whether he could call us a tuk-tuk to get us down to Moshi in the afternoon. Anderson ended up organising a local guide for us that showed us around town and the region. During the trip we asked to get more local food, and Anderson’s team made some awesome local dishes for us, and Mr Happiness took us to some fantastic food places in Tanga.

An EXTRAORDINARY experience… we never imagined how fantastic it would be to live this adventure with BONGAN SAFARIS. From the reception by BONGANI, through the meals and care in the accommodation by LOREN (an extremely polite, friendly, helpful person with unparalleled care), and culminating in the safari led by PETRO, a very experienced, polite, and patient guide, who allowed us to experience life in the savannah and see the most diverse species that live there, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, impalas, zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, rhinoceros, wildebeest, wild dogs, kudu, hippos, ostriches, crocodiles, eagles, storks, countless species of birds, in addition to breakfast served in the middle of the savannah… IMPRESSIVE

Best Safari Ever!
Raymond was an exceptional tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our group. We saw the Big 5 animals and he was quick to answer our questions about any animal. Axis Africa provided an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing trip. The Axis Africa team is extremely professional and efficient and it was very easy to communicate with them when I booked from the US. Our driver and guide Raymond was exceptional and had a lot of experience and knowledge of the park and where to find animals, it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely give him 5 stars!!

We had a really great tour in Masai Mara, boy the afternoon and whole day trip is worth it! Raymond was really experienced on finding all the animals, we were able to see all the animals, including live feast of carcasses by lions, hyena, and crocodiles

All are very beautiful areas with lots of animals
Thanks to Grey Joy Safari Adventures Tours for organising such a wonderful and enjoyable trip, with interesting safari experiences, beautiful lodges and hotels, especially the Farm House, and then complete relaxation and delicious food at the Pongwe Beach Hotel in Zanzibar. Tanzania offers an incredible safari experience with beautiful scenery and a huge variety of animals and birds. And then there is the migration of animals across the vast terrain and the movement of large numbers of animals. Everything went very smoothly and we got a lot of good and interesting information about the flora and fauna from our guide Freddy, who was also a good driver, pleasant to be with and never tired of answering our numerous questions. It is difficult to say which was the best - Tarangire, Ndutu/Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater - all are very beautiful areas with lots of animals - including the Big Five and the Ugly Five - and where the extraordinary experiences were the same.

I’m very glad I went with this operator. My tour to Hwange from Victoria Falls was wonderful. Hwange isn’t easy to get to with the road conditions bu my driver provided fantastic services, and I had a wonderful safari guide. Highly recommend!
