Ute was very helpful when booking the safari for my honeymoon
5/5

We had a fantastic safari in Botswana.
Ute was excellent to deal with. She has fantastic experience and gave me loads of information prior to booking the safari. She always managed to respond to all my emails in a timely manner.

The safari was magical. The accommodation and food was of high quality and the game drives and cruises were very exciting.

A proper safari!
5/5

We have just retuned to gloomy England from one of the most incredible holidays....ever. Well organised and everything matched the itinerary, it was a complete package with adventure, charm, beauty and relaxation in lovely Zanzibar.

An absolutely superb family safari holiday
5/5

Africa Odyssey made an itinerary for us that gave us a wonderful safari with some time for relaxation on the Indian Ocean. The lodges were superb, and the arrangements worked like clockwork. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others (in fact I already have !)

Nice safari with cool staff
4/5

The safari was a very nice experience.
We were lucky to be only 4 people in each safarijeep (there was capacity for 7 people), but they would like to have the cars full so they get more money.
Everything was planned and we could even borrow tents, sleeping bags and so for free.
The chef was good but some days we didn't get breakfast, so we had nothing to eat from 6 am to 12 am where he served brunch (but it felt more like lunch).
It's a shame that they care so much for money, because the company is characterized by that.

We had a amazing safari experience with Tamasha Afrika. Everything was perfectly organised and the lodges booked for us where great.
Our guide Joseph was friendly and very professional. An excellent guide like Joseph is definitely important for the overall experience.
I can highly recommend Tamasha Afrika!!

In Rose We Trust
5/5

My wife and i just came back from two weeks in Africa which Rose was instrumental in planning. Her suggestions on the Safari company and where to stay in Cape Town and the Winelands were absolutely spectacular. Amazing boutique hotels that were not only beautiful, but had amazing service. The ONLY downside to our trip was the hotel in Zanzibar (The Residence), which i am ashamed to say I didn't listen to Rose on when she tried to dissuade me from booking! Like I said, In Rose We Trust.

Great Safari, Superior Staff and Coordinators
5/5

We did a long safari (5 days Kenya, 8 days Tanzania, 5 days Zanzibar). We were met at the Nairobi airport and loved our Kenya guide. He really worked hard getting to locations broadcast on the radio with rarer animal sightings. The whole family loved Ken the driver. We knew about Masai Mara and Amboseli but Crescent Island and the walking safari amongst the animals was an unexpected highlight. We transferred to Tanzania midway through the safari which is an awkward border crossing. Our Tanzania driver was very knowledgeable. We had wonderful upscale resorts throughout our stay. It was a mix of luxury tent and gorgeous hotels. My wife developed pneumonia in Kenya that didn't improve with oral antibiotics. Our coordinator Natasha in Tanzania was superb with rearranging our trip so that my wife could get IV antibiotics and we could see game parks closer to Arusha. We still had awesome hotels and I was so impressed with how helpful and caring she was.

great safari
5/5

We just arrived back from a memorable safari with open africa safaris.

We spent a week touring the arusha area, manyara, ngorongoro, tarangire and the serengeti. Our team of Said and Sudi were excellent. Food was fantastic and very clean....not a hint of a tummy problem. Lots of fresh food prepared from scratch. Lots of veggies and fresh fruit!

The game drives were really great. We saw all the animals we had hoped to spot. We experienced some very raw natural sights...lions mating, migrating zebra and wildebeest, croc catching a wildebeest etc.

The land cruiser was comfortable and a very efficient way of exploring the national parks.

The tents and gear provided was clean and decent condition.

Our safari team made every effort to ensure our enjoyment of the safari.

Uganda has wildlife, beautiful landscapes and culture - Cul Tours and Safaris takes you there.
5/5

Cul Tours and Safaris arranged one 6 day trip to Kibale National Forest and Queen Elisabeth National Park.
At a previous occation they arranged a 2 day tour to Lake Mburu National Park. At both trips I was pleased with the contacts with the operator during planning of the trips. The operator knows Uganda well and can give alternative proposals.
The driver/guide on these two trips, Solomon, is a very good driver and this is needed on roads of sometimes very bad quality.
A mixture of activities add to the experience like walking safari with a ranger/guide, boat rides and visits to local communities. All activities started punctually.
Different levels of accomodation is offered. Also the tent option was good, with opportunities to listen to the hippos and bird life in the evening. The food at the lodgings was good and service excellent.
My wish is to experience nature and it is not the number of lions or elephants spotted that counts. I am very pleased with the services of Cul Tours and Safaris.
