Outstanding African Safari Experience
5/5

Booking our African safari with Polmans Holiday Tours and Travel was one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made. From the first inquiry to the end of the safari, everything was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and great attention to detail by Mr Joshua

The itinerary was well planned, accommodations were excellent, and the safari experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide Mr Deney was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we had amazing wildlife sightings throughout the trip.

If you’re planning an African safari and want a reliable, trustworthy, and experienced tour company, travel with Polmans Holiday Tours and Travel. Highly recommended for unforgettable safari experiences in Africa.

Amazing half-day tour for tourists doing long stops at Bole Airport!
5/5

My friend and I had an 8-hour stop at Bole airport, so we decided to explore the city during the day and see a bit of Ethiopia. We're SO glad we did it. We booked a tour with Ethio Top Land Tours, they picked us up at the airport, our guide's name was Salamilak, he spoke perfectly good English and was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. We visited the National Museum of Ethiopia, Mount Entoto, had a delicious Injera lunch, met some local kids who were super welcoming, and finished visiting the Mercato.

The whole tour was a smooth ride, and our guides were the best. Can't recommend it enough, Ethiopia and Addis Ababa are so worth visiting. It instilled in us a desire to visit the country in the future to explore it in more depth. Thanks for an amazing day guys!

Our guides on both the trip were very knowledgeable Our driver guide Reuben was the one who made our safari unforgettable! We had a great time and he kept us informed about the animals and was excellent at spotting the hidden animal.

We had a great time from the beginning to the end We would definitely recommend Sote Tours and Travel to anyone You won’t be able to find safer or more experienced people to take care of you.

Great experience
5/5

I had a great experience with Axis Africa Expeditions & Safaris. I would to add that our driver/guide Sadam did his best and showed us everything in the park. Sadly, we haven’t found rhinos, but that wasn’t his fault. We always had perfect spots for photos and overall
wonderful play games for two days. Our lodge, Wild Nest, was exceptional as well. I can highly recommend to book your next safari with Axis, you will not be disappointed!

Helpful
5/5

We were very satisfied with our safari experience. Since we had lunch on the way, we went straight to the game drive. We saw many animals already on the first evening. The accommodation was in rather simple tents, but everything we needed was provided. Our driver, Sadam, was very helpful.

Exceptional Naivasha Day Trip!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND❕
5/5

I’m writing to share my absolutely delightful day trip to Naivasha and sing high praises for your outstanding team—especially driver Marcel and Crescent Island guide Mike.

Marcel was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. He arrived right on time to pick us up in the morning, and his driving was smooth, careful and incredibly reliable throughout the journey. After a full day of exploring, he safely dropped us back home without any delays, making the entire trip stress-free and comfortable.

Our guide Mike on Crescent Island was a true wildlife expert and a highlight of the day. His knowledge was impressive—he could instantly identify animal species just by looking at their droppings, and even accurately judge the animals’ ages. Thanks to his sharp eyes and detailed explanations, we got to spot and learn about so many amazing creatures on the island, turning our visit into an educational and fun adventure.
What’s more, the price of the trip was extremely reasonable and affordable, with zero hidden fees from start to finish. Every charge was clear and transparent, which made the experience even more satisfying.

This was by far one of my most enjoyable day trips in Kenya. I highly recommend your travel agency to anyone planning a visit to Naivasha—you won’t be disappointed with the top-notch service, professionalism and honesty of your team!

Many thanks again to Marcel, Mike and the whole team for making my day unforgettable❤️❤️

Great responsiveness
5/5

I booked both a private safari and a Mt Meru trek over 4 days. The safari was amazing, over three days with guide Devie and cook Eloise. Devie was very knowledgeable about birds and animals and very patiently drove me around while I reveled in photography over those three fabulous days. We had great luck seeing animals that no one else saw as they walked across our path into the surrounds. I have Coeliacs disease and the cook created delicious meals for me, set up my tent and generally made me feel comfortable. I spent a lot of time asking many questions prior to the trip and people were very responsive. Can highly recommend a private safari even though its expensive as you can dictate the pace, stopping, starting and do not have to fight for the views.
The Mt Meru trek followed the very next day and due to some sort of communication breakdown perhaps, instead of meeting me and the guide at 9, we did not get away until about 11 in the morning, meaning we were late to depart for the walk (I think about 2 pm). That was fine actually but a bit of a messy start.
Every day was great - i wasn't feeling 100% but my guide Livi was very attentive as was the main porter/waiter Khamees who took great care of me always with a big smile. Again I had fantastic food (probably too much actually), and felt well taken care of. the only thing i would say is I did not know that I would have to walk with the entire group every day due to needing the armed guard, so at times it didn't feel like a private tour, so much as a group within a bigger group. Summit night was great - pole pole we made it up and down reasonably quickly, even though i think the entire team thought I would be unable to summit as an older (59 at the time) female. They under estimated me a bit I feel.
One aspect that caused me some confusion was being told I could not take more than 4200 usd onto the mountain, and yet i would need more than that in order to pay tips. The tip schedule as a private, was confusing. there were 5 in my support team; guide, cook + three porters and one of whom also doubled as my waiter - bringing food, water (and a smile). Monkey told me tips for this trek were from $185 to around $250; but between 5 people i didn't feel like this was adequate so I gave a total of $300 USD plus about 48,000 TS. I felt as if the crew was not overly happy with this additionally because I couldn't carry cash the poor guys had to drive all the way to Arusha with me just to get their tip. The vibe for me felt as if they were unhappy with me about this, and so I felt bad. I may have been misreading it? But my thoughts are this - it was $1200 USD for the 4 day trek, and my tip ended up being 25% of the total cost. As far as tips goes this is actually huge. If these guys rely so heavily on tips, then I can question are they being paid enough? The general attitude is that us tourists are rich and we can afford these huge tips. When on a budget, an additional 25% is a very large increase. Whilst I am more than happy of course to pay a tip, as these guys work their butts off, I think this needs a lot of clarification in your documentation prior to starting a trek or safari, on an EXACT figure that should be paid so we leave the guess work out. Yes a tip comes from the heart but that then leaves it open to also giving the very least (which for me actually $185 is all I really could afford yet ended up giving much more than this). And there needs to be a better way of paying the tip if we cannot take more than $200 onto the mountain OR, limit tips to $200 - as the majority of their earnings SHOULD be coming from you, not being supplemented by tourists - our tips should be an offering ON TOP of what they earn. That's my only bug-bear. Aside from that - amazing.

Great experience
5/5

We had a great experience with Ndutu Green Explorers. Our tour guide Gilbert was very friendly and knowledgable about the local parks, cultures, and animals. He put in a lot of effort to help us find many different animals on our safari, and fortunately we were able to see all of the big 5 and more. Had a great time and would definitely recommend.
