Unforgettable experience!
5/5

An absolutely perfect safari experience! From the very beginning, our communication was extremely positive and smooth. Even when we arrived and our luggage did not come through, they were incredibly helpful, assisting us with all the communication with the airport and supporting us every step of the way.

Our guide ,Golden, was outstanding – extremely kind, professional, and always making sure we were in the best possible position to see the animals clearly. He put so much effort into giving us the best views and explaining everything along the way. It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to everyone.

AMAZING SAFARI
5/5

This safari has been the best Safari ever! This safari exceeded all expectations! First of all, our tour operator was super attentive to my requests; the accommodations perfectly met our expectations! When choosing accommodations, our tour operator was very patient and proactive and was able to perfectly accommodate my quality/price requests! also as regards the safari, the tour operator managed to include all the main parks I requested (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) in 4 nights and 5 days of safari tour, with an exceptional organization!
As for the safari, we had an EXCEPTIONAL guide, Chiccio, who made everything magical and unique! He showed us breathtaking views and knew exactly where to find all the animals, including the Big Five, which we managed to see just steps from our jeep! He was also always attentive and punctual, clean, friendly, and above all, throughout the entire safari he explained so many things to us about nature, plants, animals, and Maasai culture! He speaks perfect English! What can I say, a unique and unforgettable trip that made our honeymoon dream come true!!! I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IT!

Unforgettable experience, made exceptional by an incredible crew.
5/5

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Almighty Kilimanjaro was an unforgettable experience, made exceptional by an incredible crew. Every single person was super helpful, supportive, encouraging, and genuinely kind from start to finish.

The food was outstanding, especially thanks to Chinga, who somehow managed to prepare delicious, nourishing meals every day on the mountain — far beyond our expectations. The porters are true superheroes; their strength, positivity, and hard work made everything possible and deserve endless respect.

A special mention to Paul, our waiter, who was always attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable at all times.

The guides were absolutely out of this world. Ladie and Amiri supported us every step of the way, constantly checking in, sharing valuable information, asking for feedback, and even adjusting the itinerary to suit how we were feeling. Their experience, care, and encouragement made a huge difference, especially on the tougher days.

If you’re considering climbing Kilimanjaro, I cannot recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro highly enough. This team truly goes above and beyond to make sure you feel safe, supported, and proud of every step you take. An amazing company with an even more amazing crew. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An Unforgettable Family Safari Experience in Botswana
5/5

An unforgettable family safari experience in Botswana

We were incredibly fortunate to experience an 8-day, 7-night private mobile safari in Botswana as a family of seven in the first week of December 2025 - and it exceeded every expectation.

Our trip was arranged through Invent Africa (Robbyn + Siya), who partnered with Slow But Sure for the on-ground experience. From start to finish, the organisation was seamless. We flew into Maun and out of Kasane.

We spent our first night at Island Safari Lodge, which was a comfortable and convenient start before heading into the wilderness.

Although it was the start of the rainy season, we were unbelievably lucky with the weather — hot, clear days throughout, with only one day of light rain right at the end of the trip.

We were met at the airport by Katie from operations and our guide, Zak Dimbo, and it became immediately clear that we were in very good hands. Zak is quite simply a guide extraordinaire: an expert tracker, deeply knowledgeable about wildlife, calm, highly experienced, and an outstanding driver. His ability to read the bush, find animals, and share insights in a way that was engaging for both adults and children made every day special. We learnt so much from Zak on this trip.

The safari operated with two Land Rovers — one for guests and one dedicated support vehicle carrying all tents and supplies. Bruce, our support vehicle driver, worked seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure each camp was perfectly set up on arrival. Karabo was our cook, and Dix our camp attendant — together they created a camp environment that was warm, welcoming and efficient.

We travelled through Moremi Game Reserve, Savuti, and Chobe National Park, including two boat trips — one earlier in the journey and another on our final morning on the Chobe River.

There were two days with long drives when moving to the next campsite, which is very much part of an authentic mobile safari. These travel days were broken up with wildlife sightings, changing scenery, and coffee and lunch stops at scenic spots which helped us appreciate the sheer scale and remoteness of Botswana.

Wildlife sightings were exceptional and varied: lion, an elusive leopard, elephant, a python, side-striped jackal, black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, and even the small wonders like dung beetles. The birdlife was beautiful and abundant, adding constant colour, movement and bird song to the days. The scenery throughout was extraordinary, and the sunsets were breathtaking.

A detail we really appreciated is that Slow But Sure only use campsites registered with the Botswana Guides Association. Camps felt completely untouched by previous guests — remote, pristine, and unfenced. Each site was set up exclusively for our party, accessible only to registered guides. Accommodation consisted of two-man tents with an attached bathroom area open to the elements. Toilets were hole in the ground (with raised toilet seats) filled with sand, and bucket showers with warm water heated over the fire if one wished. Camps centred around a communal fire and dining tent — simple, atmospheric, and wonderfully authentic.

There was no connectivity throughout most of the safari, which turned out to be a gift. We disconnected completely and became fully present in the experience, only charging phones at night so that we could take photos the following day. There was no excess, no huge camp fires, no laden buffets – just what we needed.

The attention to detail extended beautifully into the meals. One family member does not eat red meat, and at every meal it was genuinely heart-warming to hear at the meal presentation: “and this is what we’ve made for your sister.” Nothing ever felt like an afterthought. A special mention must go to Chef Karabo, who performed absolute magic over an open fire — even producing a 50th birthday cake, complete with icing and caramel, cooked entirely in the bush. It was thoughtful, joyful, and unforgettable.

Don’t forget to bring along the standard stuff: binoculars, a torch, sunscreen, bird and tree books, a pack of playing cards for those hot afternoons in camp, hats and long sleeves to protect you from the sun on longer game drives or travel days.

This safari was personal, professional, warm, and very well run. Slow But Sure delivered a private mobile safari that felt safe, authentic, and deeply connected to Botswana’s landscapes and wildlife.

We will treasure these memories forever and would not hesitate to recommend this experience to families or anyone looking for a truly special safari adventure in Botswana.

A great experience through Safari and Kilimanjaro hiking
5/5

Based on the excellent reviews we found online, we decided to entrust this company with the most important excursions of our trip to Tanzania, in particular the safari in Serengeti National Park and a day-long hike along the trails of Kilimanjaro. Our expectations were not disappointed; in fact, every word read by other customers was fully confirmed by our experience. The helpfulness, professionalism, organisation and precision demonstrated by Youssef and his entire staff allowed us to return home with no regrets, having enjoyed a trip that lived up to our expectations! Thank you for everything!
