Best Safari Experience Ever
We just came back from our first safari experience and it’s been amazing!
Our guide Melita went above and beyond to show us the parks, the animals, the Masai tribe as well as to explain their way of life. Everything from the lodges, the staff at the campsite on the second day and the places we visit was above our expectations.
We are leaving with amazing memories and awesome pictures. The people in Tanzania are also very welcoming and amazing. And I almost forgot to mentioned, best coffee I ever tasted! We’ll definitely recommend coming to Tanzania and using Suricata Tours and Suricata Boma Lodge for an unforgettable safari experience

Really amazing; delivered highly informative details about the animals and area as we went.
The Suricata 4 day (3 nights) mid-range safari was amazing! Our tour guide Malita was super! He had so much knowledge of the area explaining landmarks as we went and he also shared so much about the animals behaviors and biology. I learned a lot! He really went out his way to make sure we saw the big 5 as he knows all the good spots and times to go to them. He’s also very funny jaja!
The sleeping accommodations for the mid-range were also very good! I had WiFi and was able to shower every night. The people at all the sites were also very kind and delivered great Service.
I would recommend Suricata Safaris mid-range 4 day (3 nights) safari to anyone interested in a safari adventure at a great price. 100% request Malita if you can he was the best!
Joel is very knowledgeable and highly experienced
I had an amazing safari experience with Joel! He is a very experienced and patient tour guide who went above and beyond to make sure I had the best possible wildlife viewing experience. He took his time searching for animals and never rushed the tour, even spending extra time looking for wildlife close to the road so I could enjoy better views and take great photos.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any lions despite driving around in search of them, but that's the nature of a real safari and completely beyond anyone's control. Even so, the experience was incredible from start to finish.
I highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated safari guide. Thank you, Joel, for an unforgettable adventure!

Exceptional
We just got back from our first 10 day Kenya Safari and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment we contacted James from Sunny Creek Safari, they’ve shown impeccable customer service. During the one year period before the Safari we had to change our plans, requirements and schedule several times and James has been accommodating all our requests and provided us with recommendations and suggestions to customize our Safari for our needs.
Our safari was an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our exceptional guide, John, From start to finish, the level of communication was top-notch, ensuring we always knew what to expect. His respect for both the wildlife and our family made us feel safe and well-cared for. Being curious tourists, and given it’s our first time in the country, we asked so many questions throughout those 10 days and John’s knowledge and compassion about wildlife, culture and Kenya in general showed through all his answers.
We can’t wait to go back to Kenya again and would highly recommend Sunny Creek Safari and John as your tour guide if you are planning your trip to Kenya anytime soon.

Understanding, friendly and honest
The game drives were exceptional, with incredible opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Watching the vast Serengeti plains come alive with animals was truly breathtaking, and our guide was knowledgeable, professional, and eager to share fascinating insights about the wildlife and ecosystem.

Helpful and friendly
I'd rate my experience overall as about 4.5 so rounding up. Given the chance, I would book the trip again as it was great at a very good price compared to the other quotes I received.
We booked a 12 day safari for my two kids (10 & 9) and I which covered Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Hell's gate.
Overall we were happy with camp selection which included Samburu Intrepids (our least favorite), Maisha Sweetwaters (our favorite), Mara Intrepids, and Lake Naivasha Sopa. See my Google reviews of each for more details.
Our guide was Charles and he did a great job driving and finding us all the animals (we saw the big five and lots more). He was good with the kids and very accommodating.
Henry helped us book the trip and was helpful in answering questions and making adjustments to the plan. Overall communication before and during the trip was fine.
The one thing I would change, and that I would have been willing to pay a bit more for, would be a vehicle with a better suspension. The one we were in was pretty rough and you felt every bump which there are so many. One day we took a balloon safari and got picked up in a similar model vehicle but the suspension was so much better and made the bumps much gentler. Additionally the drive between Ol Pajeta to Masai Mara was very long (over 11 hours) and bumpy. Having a nicer vehicle would have made it more pleasant but I would consider booking flights for this one transit.

Amazing experience
Great experience overall! The tour was well organized, and I really enjoyed getting to experience the local culture. My favorite parts were visiting the village and the hike, both were unforgettable and gave us a chance to see the area from a different perspective. The guides were friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of adventure and authentic local experiences.

Magical Trip in Tanzania
I recently had the incredible pleasure of exploring Tanzania with Safehands Safaris, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the entire trip was flawlessly organized, professionally managed, and truly unforgettable.
Our itinerary covered some of the most stunning highlights of the region. Witnessing the breathtaking wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater was a dream come true, made even better by our guide’s deep knowledge and ability to spot animals we would have surely missed on our own. Beyond the safari, the cultural experience at Materuni Village and the refreshing hike to the waterfall provided a wonderful look into local life and nature, while relaxing in the turquoise waters of the Chemka Hot Springs was the perfect way to unwind.
The logistics were seamless, and we felt well-cared for throughout our entire journey. We stayed in a great selection of accommodations across Karatu, Moshi, and Arusha, all of which provided the comfort we needed after our daily adventures.

Courteous and fun giving excellent info and the best at finding hidden gems
They were absolutely brilliant—from meeting us at the border to organizing safaris, waterfall excursions, hot springs, and cultural experiences around Kilimanjaro. Extremely courteous and highly knowledgeable, they even went out of their way to find a unique restaurant serving exceptional gazelle meat. Highly recommended for their outstanding service and expertise.
