Very good service, very friendly, had a great time, thank you
5/5

My Safari was not cheap but from the first moment worth the money. Communication was very good - before the trip, during the trip and also after the trip. Service was great. The camp Umang had recommended was as nice as he had promised. The trip itself (three days Ruaha) was absolutely fantastic. Umang and Christopher were a very pleasant company and i had three enjoyable and unforgetable days in Ruaha! Thanks a lot!

Dream safari to Tanzania!
5/5

From our initial enquiry to the feedback call we received when we returned home from our trip - the service we received from Aardvark was excellent. This was our first time on safari, so we really had no clue where to start but Lucinda listened to our wishes and put together a trip that was perfect for us and for the budget we'd specified. We had an absolute blast and couldn't believe how lucky we were to see so much wildlife. The camps we stayed at in the Selous and Ruaha were fantastic and the staff that worked at them brilliant and made us feel so welcome. Thanks for making our dream safari come true!

Scamsters & Fraudsters are the best we can describe this company
1/5

We had booked a 6 day tours with them for about USD 2800 from the 21st to 26th of July 2014. They never showed up at the pickup point and refused to take our calls, we were left for hours trying desperately to contact them. When we finally booked into a hotel and checked their website, that was shut down too. We had to cut short our trip and head back home, which cost us big additionally too. This was our worst nightmare come true. In my opinion, these guys deserve to go to jail for a long time.

First class:excellent knowledge of wildlife and terrain and totally committed to ecology.
5/5

We are a mature age couple with no previous experience of a safari. From the outset, our every need was met and the safari exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to have both an expert driver, Robert, able to perceive wildlife in the most distant areas and drive in demanding terrain, and Isaac Ouma, an outstanding guide. Isaac was able to discover the full variety of wildlife in the region, anticipate animals' movements and discuss the habitat, ecology and history not only of the region but also the whole East African coast. Like previous reviewers I now wish to take other safaris with Isaac. He is not only an expert in his area but totally committed to his field, and a friend to be totally relied on.

An amazing experience
5/5

We have just returned from a seven day tour of Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. The excellent reviews of this company proved well deserved. We are a mature aged couple who travelled with a first class guide and excellent driver in a safari van with a pop-up roof. From the start, Kenneth had responded promptly to our needs, with very helpful suggestions and information. The accommodation arranged was very good, and though there was a lot of driving involved we profited from the expertise of our guide and driver not only to spot the full range of animals, even when they were camouflaged in the wilderness, but also to learn details of their habitat. A highly recommended team.

Gazelle is a truly professional and expert safari operator, highly efficient with a personal touch.
5/5

Operated by a husband and wife team, Gazelle has twice arranged very personalized safari tours for us in Ruaha National Park. We tried two different accommodations, both exotic but very comfortable and safe. Everything ran smoothly, from the transportation arrangements into the park ("Zebras on the runway! Circling around for another approach!"), to the (luxurious) tent or cottage accommodations, to the delicious meals (elephants just beyond the railing), to great guided days in the park. Beena goes out of her way to design your tour to your specifications, and park guides (including husband Umang) are knowledgeable as well as very pleasant companions. Highly recommended.

Good organized 13-day private safari
4/5

We enjoyed our stay in Uganda - thank you very much for the part you contributed to the experience.
With Albert Henry we had a very friendly and reliable driver and guide. Especially impressive his knowledge about birds.
The Gorilla Trekking was an absolute highlight but also the other places impressed with the variety of landscapes and wildlife.
The lodges and hotels you suggested / provided were mostly a good choice:
Especially to mention Mihingo and Kyaninga Lodge which were among the nicest places we have been in Africa.
The only a little disappointing place was Paraa Lodge where we missed privacy and atmosphere (to big with negative side effects - especially in high season).

On this Safari, I visited Uganda between 01- August -2014 and 5-August-2014 and I traveled with 1 other person.
The trip was superb.

We are very happy with Travel Explore Africa; the whole planning of the safari was at the highest standard.

The Best Birthday Ever! Safari With Travel Explore Africa
5/5

For my 40th birthday, I decided to fulfill a life's dream and travel to Uganda to see chimpanzees and gorillas! I traveled with my best friend Faith, and we had the most fabulous time on our 10 day safari: we saw lions (including TREE CLIMBING LIONS!) and LEOPARDS and chimpanzees and GORILLAS! Everything I wanted to see, and more: vervet monkeys, black and white colobus, zebras, elephants, water buffalos, Ugandan kobs, water bucks! Wow! I was ecstatic each and every day! Our guide James was wonderful: he made everything run smoothly, with his wonderful driving, kindness, generosity, humour, knowledge of animals and local culture...Just amazing. I would recommend this company to anyone! Travel Explore Africa communicated well with us throughout, kept to our (somewhat limited) budget, suggested interesting extra things to do, and catered to our every need! I will be recommending this company - and Uganda - to all my friends! Maybe a trip back for my 50th?

Absolutely Wonderful!!
5/5

This was my first trip to Tanzania and definitely won't be my last. The experience was one in a lifetime and everyone I encountered made that experience more pleasurable. The drivers James, Philemon and Bryce were the best ever. It was never a dull moment with them and they made every experience more enjoyable. The stay at the coffee farm with Blaise De Souza was amazing. The staff made me feel just like I was at home. The views and tours were breathtaking and the food was delicious. Everyone should definitely make this apart of their experience when traveling to Tanzania!
