Enjoy the forest by foot but don't rent a car or a driver!!
The forest is quite unique. The entrance fee is 725 Kenyan shillings per non resident adult. We explored it with Willie, a freelance tour guide we found through the official Arabuko Sokoke website. He charged us 2,500 KES for a three-hour tour, during which we walked through the forest and saw birds, insects, butterflies, monkeys, and the shrew. Overall, it was a very nice experience.
However, when organizing the tour, he told us that access to the forest was only possible by car and that he would arrange transportation for a minimum of 4,000 KES (half of the total cost of the entire activity), since we didn’t have our own car. In reality, we were perfectly willing to get there by tuk-tuk or on foot. The car only took us to the pond where elephants come to drink—a 15-minute drive—after which the rest of the morning was spent walking, which was actually the best part of the experience.
This extra cost felt completely unnecessary, especially since the car just waited in a parking lot for three hours. I would have much preferred to spend that money supporting the forest itself rather than on unused transportation, and the whole situation felt a bit like a setup

We experienced the most incredible and magnificent safari of our lives. The accommodation comfortable and situated in an idyllic setting. A huge thank you to Marko who organized everything for us (it was our second safari with him, and he managed to adapt it to the well-being of our children, aged 7 and 10, who were experiencing their first safari). Our guide, William, was simply exceptional; he listened to our wishes and fulfilled them with great kindness. We learned so much from him; at every stop to observe an animal or the environment, William was a veritable walking encyclopedia.

Helpful and Efficient
My friends and I had a great time with Jocky Tours. Their communication was excellent, and the booking process was very easy. Our tour guide, Dennis, was great. He was calm and capable, and we felt like we were in good hands for the entire trip. He took great care to ensure we got the most out of our animal viewing experience. There were some times that I felt we were waiting at a spot for too long, but sure enough, Dennis's intuition was correct and something spectacular eventually happened.
The seats on the vehicle were a bit worn out, which made some of the long driving days a bit challenging. But besides that, we were very happy with our tour and tour guide.

Amazing. Very friendly and very professional.
Joel was the best guide wr had on safari. His sharp eyes caught us many amazing wildlife scenes that we wouldn't have noticed without him. He took up as up close as possible to every animal we met and made sure that we weren't scaring them away so we could enjoy them more. He is also a very friendly and humorous person and we had fun just hanging out with him at night and talking. Highly recommended for everyone!

An experience we'll remember, guides trying to give the best they can.
I would advice other travelers to book the tour, they try to give the best for whats possible and once your wishes are know they will achief it the best way they can.

Wonderful safari experience
Our tour guide Justine has a very good eye sight and able to discover hidden animals in bushes. He knows how to find out animals in right place and in good viewing point.
