Great safari trip
Had a wonderful safari experience and trip with Libe who knew a lot about the animals. Although some of the accommodations changed last minute, in our opinion they were betters than those planned before.

Booked through the local travel agency Tanzibar Travel, our week-long safari was a truly magnificent experience thanks to Kimgoni Tanzania Safaris.
We were able to explore Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks in style, followed by the Ngorongoro and Empakaai craters, in a comfortable 4x4, from which we had breathtaking views of this wild landscape – the vast expanses of savannah offering a powerful sense of freedom, home to magnificent wildlife worthy of the Lion King film (we were able to admire giraffes, elephants, leopards, lions, cheetahs, antelopes of all kinds, buffalo, zebras, hippos and monkeys up close, to name but a few). The picnics provided each day were generous and very tasty (if a little repetitive). The few nights spent in tents in the middle of the savannah provided an extraordinary experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves completely in the heart of wildlife.
All this was accompanied by our excellent guide, Edgar: as well as being an excellent driver, we found him to be, above all, a wonderful person – unassuming yet friendly and full of humour – with a wealth of knowledge which he shared with us during our discussions about Tanzania, its history, and its flora and fauna, which he makes it his duty to protect as best he can. Edgar made sure we had the chance to see the full range of animals on the Tanzanian savannah, but away from the tourist crowds, and without ever trying to intrude on them, respecting their space, their habits and their peace and quiet – something we really appreciated. We were also able to learn a few words of Swahili thanks to him, which helped us a great deal during our stay.
In short, a very good safari company, which we highly recommend. We’d love to return to Tanzania to continue exploring this magnificent country – with Kimgoni Tanzania Safaris, of course!

Our group had a great time with Kayash. When unforseen issues came up, Charles and team were able to take care of them and ensure that we had a complete experience in the Masaai Mara. They were very accommodating and flexible, and went above and beyond to maximize the experience. I highly recommend!

Unforgettable experience with the best guide and the best driver
My family and I went on a 9 day trip with our german speaking guide Victor and our english speaking driver Ecky.
We had an amazing time and it felt very family like. Together we got to make memories, had a lot of laughs and good conversations.
Both of them shared their wide knowledge about nature and animals with us and also about their culture and way of living.
Problems with the car, food, and plans were solved quickly and without us even noticing.
We had an amazing time thanks to the both of them. We will never forget the memories we made together.

Excellent value with highly proficient guides
Extremely good value for money - a driver, a guide, six nights safari-lodge accommodation, all meals for almost seven days, transport to three National Parks (Nyerere, Mikumi & Ruaha), and guided tours round those parks, starting and ending in Dar-es-Salaam for two people for well under $2,500.
The wildlife seen included elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, zebra, impala (all the parks), lion (Mikumi), jackal, kudu, eland (Mikumi & Ruaha).
The wildlife lodges were top quality with good food and friendly staff.
I can't find anything to object to and this is my seventh safari in two months.

Jimmy is amazing, he taught us so much, made us feel safe at all times and gave the best experience
We had the most amazing time with our tour guide Jimmy. His knowledge of the parks and the animals was unmatched, we learnt so much from him over the 2 days and I couldn’t recommend him any more. Considering we spent the best part of 2 days in the jeep it was comfortable and clean. The food provided throughout the time was really good and that’s coming from a fussy eater. Accommodation was spotless and fit the vibe of a safari lodge so well. As a group of 4 we all had the most unforgettable trip and we can’t thank you all enough for creating it for us.

Professional, knowledgeable and friendly tour operator.
Julius organised the Nairobi National Park half day tour and elephant orphanage at short notice for our family and customised the timings to suit us. All costs were included and all entry tickets arranged for us. The safari long wheelbase 4x4 vehicle with large windows and pop up roof was excellent for viewing. Julius was friendly and very knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife. A great day out was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend Julius and Heritawi tours.
