Tanzania Songbird Safaris is a must!
What a magnificent experience. We went on a group safari with of our family and friends to northern Tanzania, and we got a recommendation from our friends back home about Tanzania Songbirds Safaris. We all appreciated it was the best trip we have ever been to. Our guide Erick and Israel were the absolute the best and our group was so glad to have them. Eric & Israel were able to share so much about Tanzania especially wildlife and general history of the country, culture and people. They responded to all the questions we asked promptly, graciously and in detail. We spent 4 days in Central Serengeti and we saw the great migration which is very lucky since we had never seen it before. Thanks so much to Erick, Israel and the entire team of Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for making our dream come true. During the migration safari we saw a lot of animals including the African big five and small animals too. The jeep, accommodations and all meals were the best and we felt very welcomed at the lodge everyday and there so much food on offer. I would be jealous if I couldn't say Tanzania Songbirds Safaris deserve to be the top rated operator in Tanzania and I can confidently recommend them to all travelers looking for a wonderful safari experience in Africa

Everything was perfect, except for the food!
Very respectful staff from the office and also the lodge. David Mukami was our driver, very chill guy and easygoing. He was precise with his timing and drives safely. He knew the park very well and managed to get us to the points that mattered to see the animals. 5 ⭐️
Lucia and Lucy at Sancali lodge were very friendly, always smiling! Loved their vibe.
The only thing that I didn’t like was the food. I know they can do better and have better options. The chicken was really bad! The beef was not well cooked.
I would suggest taking care of the bed mattress. It seemed a bit old and hurt my back.
Otherwise, I would definitely book again with them.

We had an amazing safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about the animals, nature, and the national park, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We felt safe, well taken care of, and had plenty of opportunities to see wildlife up close. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We had a great vacation. We have no complains, everything was great. The safaris, communication, service, all of it was very good. It was for sure value for money. Further more, we want to thank our guide, Richard. What a nice guy and what a terrific guide. He is friendly, helpful and knows a lot. He showt is the big five, a cheeta and a lot of other animals. Very, very good.

Fantastic Safari + Kili Experience
Found the provider randomly on Safari bookings and had a great time!
Was able to see the big 5 + a variety of rare birds.
One of the things I appreciated was the ability to customize lodgings based on desired level of spend - I opted to camp in the wild two of the nights, but upgraded to a lodge the other two, which I thought was a good balance.
My guide was very knowledgeable, and he tailored our sightings based on the group’s bird interest, which I thought was a nice touch.
Emmanuel runs the company - it’s a family-run Tanzanian-owned business, so you don’t see the same mark ups you might from Western tour providers. Additionally, he acts essentially as a personal concierge upon arrival - shuttles you around.
He also arranged a Kilimanjaro trek for me, which was great. I was in a private group on a 7 day Lemosho route trip. It was nice having continuity between both experiences. Kilimanjaro is definitely not for the faint of heart - I struggled with the conditions, but the porters and guide did everything they could to help me summit (including carry my day pack) and ultimately I made it. Relative to some of the bigger brand names you’ll see out there (Altezza, Climb Kili) - honestly I felt like I got a pretty similar experience. I didn’t have a large group of fellow western tourists, but I got more personal time with my guide, Mike - and felt like I learned a lot more about the culture.
Overall a great option for Safari / Kili.

Perfectly Organized Tour with Outstanding Guides – Highly Recommended!
Our tour with Kevic Tours was outstanding from start to finish and one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya.
The journey from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island was perfectly organized. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly dedicated throughout the entire tour. They shared fascinating information about the wildlife, nature, and Kenya itself, making the experience even more enjoyable. At all times, they made us feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after.
We especially appreciated their flexibility when they spontaneously included a stop at the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi on our way back. This extra effort and excellent customer service made an already fantastic day even more memorable.

A trip of a lifetime with Longway Expeditions!
Fantastic first trip to Tanzania with Longway Expeditions! I was quite nervous about going on safari as a solo female traveller, but Anne from Longway was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. She addressed all of my concerns, helped me customize the itinerary around my specific interests, and made sure I got the most out of my time in Tanzania.
I was absolutely blown away by the diversity of the landscapes, the incredible wildlife, and the warmth of the people. My driver-guide, Amir, was very experienced, extremely flexible, and gave me the best possible wildlife-viewing experience. I was amazed by his knowledge and his ability to spot interesting animals from a distance. I especially appreciated how mindful he was about giving the animals enough space and making sure we never got too close, as this was something I had been particularly concerned about.
Every worry I had before the trip completely disappeared once I was there. To any solo female travellers who are nervous about travelling alone, I can honestly say you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to return to Tanzania and plan more safaris with Longway Expeditions!

Absolutely amazing
We had the most amazing experience on the safari and then onto Zanzibar. Mike organised our trip and it was absolutely faultless. The move from one lodge to another was smooth. There was no issues or delays. Mike was always on hand to deal with any enquiries however small.
Our guide Hurona made our experience a once in a life time one and we cannot recommend him enough. He is polite, helpful with great knowledge of where to find the animals and general information about the conservation parks. It was a pleasure to spend 6 days with him and we are very grateful for his expertise.
This trip was for my partners 50th and they arranged a cake for him which was very kind of them and a complete surprise.
This was one a once in a life time experience and we would recommend this company for an impeccable service.
