Serengeti with Safari Goats - A Memory of a Lifetime
Wow! Had the most awesome and amazing experience with Safari Goats during my recent visit to Tanzania from USA in January 2026 and doing a safari with Shafi, Eddiy, and the whole team. It was an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life -- from the minute I landed in the Serengeti National Park, I saw literally tens of thousands of iconic wildlife up-and-close including the magnificent Great Migration of Wildebeast and Zebras and of course, hundreds of lions and hippos, thousands of elephants, and the rare leopards and cheetahs, and so many more beautiful wildlife and the SNP ecosystem and habitats. The luxury tents were a wonderful-surreal experience with hippos, lions, and hyenas all around the camp (Tukaone Serengeti Camps) and my tent; their sounds in the middle of night at first was a bit un-nerving but by the second night was a wonderful orchestra of animals in the wild. Simplu Amazing! Again, Safari Goats are the greatest of all time! Shafi, Eddie good friends now and SG team excellent (Grace, Collin). Can't wait to take the whole family next time with my Safari Goat family. I had a really amazing one-day safari with Shafino.
The day started with Shafino picking us up directly from our hostel, and from that moment everything felt easy and well organised.
Shafino made the whole experience special from start to finish. He knows the park like the back of his hand and has a deep knowledge of both animals and plants, which he shared in a calm and engaging way. His experience and passion really showed and made the day feel very personal.
We saw a lot of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and buffalo, and we always had time to stop and enjoy each sighting. Lunch was fantastic, with great food, good wine and very good coffee from a French press. The car was well stocked with cold water, sodas and beers, which made the day very comfortable.
Overall, it was a warm and memorable experience and great value for money. I would highly recommend Shafino Wildlife Safaris to anyone looking for a genuine and well-organised safari in Tanzania.

Very well organized
The tour was exceptional. The initial communication with the team was very easy and straightforward. They reply promptly and provide help as needed. The tour itself was amazing. Very well organized. The guide, Raymond knew great spots to see wildlife and often got to those spots before other vehicles. He was an excellent driver and guide and made the overall experience great.

Prompt response and correct itinerary
Reasonable pricing, no unplanned hotel changes. Only downside: last-day itinerary misaligned with flight time, causing long airport wait. Our guide Ken was outstanding—experienced, punctual, accent-free English, great at finding all the animals we wanted to see. He shared fascinating animal facts and Kenyan culture/ customs during the safari, adding wonderful cultural depth to the trip.

I went on safari to Tarangire with Shafino Wildlife Safaris together with five friends, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We started the day early so we would be ahead of the other tour companies. Shafino is incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. He genuinely took the time to get to know us, and even in the jeep he shared interesting facts while engaging and interacting with us. He took care of a delicious lunch with a wide selection of drinks, all enjoyed while overlooking the stunning views of Tarangire.
From the moment we entered the park, it was clear that Shafino is an expert in his field. His knowledge of wildlife, nature, and animal behavior is incredible and he took us to the most special parts of the park that most others don’t get to see, where it genuinely felt like we were part of nature rather than just visitors. We had rough idea about the safari, what we would like to see and how much time we have - based on that, Anneth created an amazing itinerary for us. The process was quick, the communication was great and she adjusted the itinerary immediately according to our ideas and wishes. The final proposal was very professional and the payment process for the deposit very easy, even from Europe. We asked several provider for a proposal and Polecat was by far the best.
Regarding the safari itself, it was a once in a lifetime experience. Manfred, our guide, was a great company and took great care of us the whole time. Also, he is an amazing spotter and very knowledgeable, made sure that we got the best spot everywhere and fed us with a lot of informations and stories about the national parks, animals etc.
The accommodations were exactly how they were described and we were very happy with them, same for the car.
Overall - please consider Polecat, we had a blast and cannot thank them enough for this experience! We will be back, for sure :-)
