Fantastic tour operator and an excellent driver guide!
We would give more stars to Bush Craft Safaris if we could! We took a 3 day Uganda/Rwanda tour that included Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, as well as some local sights & sounds in Kigali. Overall, it was a trip of a lifetime!
Planning: Planning was a breeze with Innocent at the helm. He was quick to respond via whatsapp, working with us closely to understand our preferences. He went the extra mile to make sure our permits were secured even when one of the people in our party ran into personal issues and it was not clear if they would be able to join us. One thing we really liked is Innocent & team sending us screenshots of various permit and accommodation bookings giving us the peace of mind that everything was being set up and organized well. I wish more tour operators did that! Payment was also safe and transparent - sending a large sum of money internationally can be scary, but Bush Craft had a secure, modern, online payment gateway which we could use to pay via credit card. They were also flexible enough for us to clear any remaining balances during the Safari
During the Safari: Allan was an incredible driver and guide. He was an expert naturalist (knew all the birds in the area!), an excellent driver (made us feel safe while driving through foggy mountain roads!), and a great conversationalist. Allan was there to help us at every step of the way - ensuring we got porters at the Bwindi trek, making sure our meals at the accommodations were good, making adjustments to our itinerary based on our energy levels. At the end of the 3 days, Allan felt more like a friend we were meeting after a long time!
Dealing with unexpected events: Unfortunately, our airline lost our bags and our checked bags never reached Kigali International Airport. Upon hearing this unfortunate news, the Bush Craft team sprung into action - helping change our itinerary so that we could go back to Kigali the next day to get our bags without compromising on any of our planned excursions. Innocent went the extra mile to constantly call Rwandair to ensure our bags were routed to us correctly. Allan had to drive multiple extra hours to help shuttle us back and forth from the airport to make sure we could retrieve our bags. We are very thankful to the Bush Craft team for being supportive and flexible!
Overall Experience: Both Rwanda and Uganda are fantastic countries! They are safe, filled with natural beauty, and feel like paradise on earth! Meeting the Mountain Gorillas up close is a life-changing experience. You will not go wrong in handing Bush Craft Safaris the opportunity to make this a trip of a lifetime for you

A perfect trip, organized by Marietjie (Map2Africa)!
A perfect trip, that's what Map2Africa arranged for us! Everything was perfectly prepared and send via an app to us. It helped us a lot during our trip. We liked the spots and lodges Marietjie choose for us very much, even as the arranged activities. This will be a trip we'll never forget. It was not the first holiday Marietjie arranged for us and it will definitly not be the last.

He was really funny, positiv and nice.
We saw a lot of animals, and it was really great. Our tour guide knew the right places and explained everything we needed to know. He was very welcoming and waited for everyone until the last photo was taken.

Unforgettable experience
I would like to thank you very much for organizing the climb to Kilimanjaro. When ordering the climb, communication with CK Meruslopes with Mr. Jerome Hotti was completely seamless. The team assigned to us with the main guide Hussein was excellent. Hussein is a wise man with many years of experience, supervised his team to make sure that everything was as it should be. Everyone was very friendly and tried to do their best to help us successfully climb to the top of Uhuru Peak. All of us from our 4-member group could do it without major health problems, also thanks to good acclimatization, which was due to the correctly chosen walking pace and the correct recommended route. I must also praise the food that the chef prepared for us during the climb, because the food was excellent and there was always plenty of it. I definitely recommend CK Meruslopes.

An unforgettable safari experience – truly exceptional from start to finish
We’ve just completed our safari with Meektrails Safari, covering Amboseli, a visit to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara and I can honestly say this was one of the most memorable trips of my life.
From the very first contact, Meektrail Safari stood out. While I reached out to several agencies, they were the only ones who took the time to send a clear, well-designed PDF itinerary with photos and detailed explanations. That level of professionalism immediately made the difference and gave us confidence from day one. Everything was transparent, well explained, and thoughtfully prepared. A special thank-you to Will, who handled the booking process flawlessly and was always responsive and reassuring.
Once in Kenya, everything ran perfectly smoothly. Payments, timings, logistics — absolutely seamless.
Our driver and guide, James (Waicha), deserves a very special mention. He is simply outstanding.
Waicha is not just a driver — he is a true safari professional:
• Extremely knowledgeable about wildlife and ecosystems
• Always knowing where to look, when to stop, and when to move
• Providing binoculars and practical guidance on how to observe animals properly
• Finding quiet, scenic routes and spots where we could enjoy nature away from crowds
• Perfectly managing time while never rushing the experience
He explained everything with passion, adapted to our pace, and made sure we were always comfortable and safe. Every single transfer was smooth always on time and stress-free.
On top of that, we decided quite last-minute to add a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi. Even though availability is notoriously difficult, the team managed to organize it for us — which was incredibly appreciated and made the trip even more special.
From the planning stage to the very last day, the entire team was professional, warm, and reliable. You genuinely feel taken care of, not treated like just another booking.
I cannot recommend Meektrails Safari highly enough. If you’re looking for a serious, well-organized safari with passionate people who truly care about the experience, this is the agency to choose. We would book again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone traveling to Kenya.
Thank you to the whole team — and especially to Waicha — for an unforgettable adventure.
