We chose Meektrails for a 6-days tailor-made private safari (Masai Mara–Nakuru–Naivasha) for our family of five.

- Before the trip: my contact person, Peris, was incredibly responsive, patient with my endless emails, and really helped me in the fine-tuning of our itinerary, and even more in the research and selection of lodges fitting what we were looking for…while staying in our budget. Thank you for everything, Peris!
- The welcome from the whole team at the airport was really great and immediately put a smile on the whole family’s faces!
- The safari was organised flawlessly. The car (a Toyota LandCruiser) was reliable, very spacious and comfortable.
- Our driver-guide, Georges, was also brilliant! He was punctual, attentive and did all the efforts to ensure our days were packed from park opening to closing time, particularly in the Masai Mara! We saw a huge number of animals, particularly big cats, far exceeding our expectations. Georges has a keen eye for spotting them and always manages to position the car in just the right spot for photos (especially when there are other cars at the same spot). He also provides excellent explanations.
- The accommodation (Mtito Camp, Nakuru Sopa Lodge and Naivasha Sopa Resort) exceeded our expectations.
- When I consider the services provided and the accommodation we were given, I think the value for money is absolutely unbeatable.
All five of us were delighted with the week and really pleased with our choice of agency!

He is the most professional guide in Kenya — he can find wildlife that other guides can’t. We got to see every animal we hoped for, including leopards, lions and cheetahs. What really stood out was how knowledgeable Zephania is.
We spent 5 amazing days on safari with Zephania, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From day one, he was friendly, easy to talk to, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
What really stood out was how knowledgeable Zephania is. Every time we spotted an animal, he had something interesting to explain about its behavior, habitat, or the little details we would have completely missed on our own. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
He was also incredibly patient. He never rushed us, always stopped whenever we wanted to take photos, answered all of our questions, and made sure we had the best possible views. Thanks to his experience and sharp eyes, we saw so much wildlife that we definitely would have missed otherwise.
After five days together, it honestly felt like we were exploring Tanzania with a friend rather than just a safari guide. Zephania worked hard every single day to give us the best experience possible, and it really showed.
