We started planning our safari journey in mid Fall of 2025. Once we settled on Botswana as a destination with a stop in Victoria Falls, we quickly realized that January is both their hot AND rainy season. We chose to go anyhow and the good news is that time of year, the travel costs are a fraction of the busy season AND you get the natural environments more to yourself. Once we were there, the issues we were concerned about were not even issues. It was warm and it did rain, but it wasn’t even remotely bad enough to impact our trip. Our agent from Off2Africa (Sian) arranged EVERYTHING from the moment we landed in Johannesburg to the day we left Botswana. We had 5 different flights in the region and more than 8 different transfers during our 9 day adventure, all of which were perfectly orchestrated by Sian AND all of which went as scheduled in real time. We stayed in 5 different lodges organized by Off2Africa and each one had something we loved, all of which were well represented by Sian. I especially loved the travel app that she utilized. It was very well organized and outlined every detail of our day to day itinerary. If I were to visit anywhere in the area again, I would contact Sian at Off2Africa to plan my adventure.

Wonderful day with full of peace.
My wife and I loved how our guide shared stories about the land, the people, and their traditions. The waterfall itself was breathtaking, loud, and powerful, yet calming at the same time.
Our participation in the coffee process was unexpectedly fun-pounding beans, laughing at our technique, and finally tasting the result. Really it was our very refreshing and enjoyable day and it perfectly organized Kibo Mawenzi Safaris, they were really amazing.

Excelled expectations and our Game Ranger Francis was absolutely fantastic!
We had the most amazing time from the moment Francis collected us in Dar es Salaam. He was a brilliant driver in the chaotic Tanzanian traffic and his knowledge of the parks and the animals and birds was excellent. We had incredible sightings due to his eagle eyes, including leopards hidden in bushes and the rare and elusive African Wild Dogs. He was the perfect safari guide and nothing was too much trouble for him. Edward put a wonderful trip together for us and I can’t rate him and Francis highly enough. I would definitely recommend them for a Tanzanian safari experience!

Excellent service and fantastic guide
At first we were a bit disappointed about the car, but when the safari started we were so satisfied. Our guide were fantastic and he did everything in his power to make us happy. It was really important for us that the guide respeced the animals and the regulations of the reservate, and he did the intire journy.
We had 4 nights in Masai Mara, but we reconmend to have around 2-3 days in that park. We wish we did discover some of the other parks when we first were on safari in Kenya.
