Unforgettable 4-Day Safari Experience with Going Green Safari Tours
We just returned from a 4-day safari tour with Going Green Safari Tours, exploring the stunning wildlife and landscapes of Mikumi National Park, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and thoughtfully arranged. The company was very flexible with our pick-up and drop-off locations, which made planning so much easier for us.
Our guide, Apollo, was truly exceptional. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about wildlife, nature, and Tanzanian culture, but also incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire trip. We felt completely comfortable asking him anything, and he took the time to explain everything in great detail. Thanks to him, we learned so much about the animals we saw, the landscapes we passed through, and the people we met along the way.
We travelled in a very comfortable vehicle, perfectly suited for both long drives and safari game drives. Apollo always took his time during the safaris, never rushing us and always making sure we had the best possible view and understanding of the wildlife around us.
One of the highlights of the tour was the hike to the Sanje Waterfalls in the Udzungwa Mountains, which was very well organized and a wonderful change of pace during the trip. We also had the chance to visit a Masai village, which was an incredibly special and eye-opening experience.
Accommodation during our safari was at Camp Bastian Mikumi, which was fantastic. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Each day, breakfast and dinner were ready for us, and we received a well-prepared lunch pack to take with us on the road.
Overall, Going Green Safari Tours went above and beyond to make sure our safari experience was perfect. Their team is highly flexible, responsive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We wholeheartedly recommend them—and especially Apollo—to anyone looking for a meaningful, informative, and unforgettable safari. We will definitely recommend this to all our family and friends!

When news were received through the walkie-talkie on animals like lions & leopards which were hard to locate, he would immediately drove to the spot so that we can have clear view.

My husband and self got introduced to Baseline Travel by a friend who had just returned from Malawi. We booked with them for a 7- day tour where they shared Malawi tour options for our considerations, quite a good team with a good response rate on emails (something rare among african companies) a thing which made our booking experience with them easy, the trip was fun as it started in Lilongwe and we flew out from Blantyre.
They offered us a good car too and Charles was a good driver. I Recommend them and prices are negotiable and if you have a budget, they can tailor something for you.

Incredible All-Around Experience
I chose the budget safari, and it exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was just what I wanted, and the food was better than expected.
The game drives themselves were a blast, and we saw every animal that I wanted.
Richard (Richie) was incredibly knowledgeable and quite literally answered every single question that anyone had regarding the animals, flora, and even Kenya more generally. He was also great to chat with and got us super close to the animals for an amazing view while not disturbing the animals or disrupting their hunt.
I would highly recommend this option for budget travellers, but families and others as well!
