We had an incredible 6-day safari with Champion, our guide from Serengeti Smile.
Champion’s cheerful personality and positive energy made the entire trip so much fun. Thanks to his exceptional guiding skills and sharp eyes, we were able to see not only the Big Five but also the Ugly Five!
All of the accommodations arranged by Serengeti Smile were excellent as well. Our two-night stay in Karatu was especially unforgettable. The breathtaking views, the warm and friendly staff, and the delicious food made it a truly memorable experience.
If we ever return to Tanzania, we’d love to go on another safari with Champion. We already miss you, Champion! Thank you for giving us memories that will last a lifetime.

3 day trip to mikumi national park
Wild Gaze Safaris exceeded my expectations with their excellent service and attention to detail. The 3-day Mikumi National Park safari was well organized from start to finish, and the communication before the trip was clear and professional. Our guide was friendly, experienced, and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the park. We enjoyed incredible game drives and saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, antelopes, and many beautiful birds. The accommodation was comfortable, the meals were good, and the safari vehicle was clean and ideal for wildlife viewing. The whole experience offered great value for money, and I would gladly recommend Wild Gaze Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Excellent attention to detail
I travelled with a friend to Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda with Wild Uganda. The service was at all times of the highest standard.
Both of our guides proved to be extremely good at providing information and carrying out any special requests we had. They were friendly and polite at all times.
The guides were also highly adept at spotting wildlife.
This company offers excellent value for money and if I return to East Africa, I will gladly travel with them again.

4 days in Masai Mara
We had a 4-day safari to the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with ourdriver and guide, Mimi Kevin.
One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the incredible lines of wildebeest gathering for the Great Migration and watching them repeatedly attempt to cross the Mara River. It was an emotional and unforgettable spectacle.
Another unforgettable moment was finding a pride of lion brothers that had just brought down a buffalo and were feeding on it. Watching such a powerful scene in the wild was something we will never forget.
Thanks to Mimi, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife, including both the black rhinoceros and the white rhinoceros, as well as elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, buffaloes, and countless other animals. The only member of the Big Five that escaped us was the leopard—but that's the beauty of nature, as this magnificent animal is incredibly elusive.
Throughout the trip, Mimi always positioned the vehicle perfectly for photography, drove safely even on the roughest roads, and shared information about the animals. His passion for wildlife and his commitment to giving us the best possible safari experience were evident every single day. He uses to be the first in any place so be ready to wake up early.

Incredible experience
We booked a 5-day-safari and the whole trip was very well organized. The communication with Sarah was very uncomplicated and we felt well looked after at all times. Our pick-up was well coordinated by Paul.
The game drive was an incredible experience. Our guide Dennis was always patient, well informed and he wanted us to have the best view even if it meant a long driving distance for him. The car was comfortable and perfectly accommodated.
The accommodations were always clean and matching the description. We were provided with good meals every day.

Arranged our safari perfectly!
We booked directly with Suricata, as we wanted to use a Tanzania based tour operator. The reviews I read were spot on - the safari was brilliant and our guide Eke was amazing
We stayed in mid range accommodation - there was a food variety between hotels, lodges and bush camps. Our days were packed - early starts meant that we were able to see as much as possible on our seven day safari. Eke wanted us to have the best animal experience, and we absolutely did. We saw three separate river crossings, three leopards in one day, a cheetah and her cubs. Not to mention forty lions, two rhino and countless elephants, giraffes, zebras and gazelles. We were really spoilt!
Communication from Eke was great - he always gave us the necessary information for the day ahead. Communication from the office was, at times, a little slow - especially providing information about internal flights and transfers.
We felt the tour was great value for money - we weren't expecting anywhere near the level of luxury that we received!
We would highly recommend Suricata for a wonderful safari experience.
