Better than anything I ever expected!
Jordan was the absolute best guide we could have ever gotten! As a photographer, he was amazing at understanding animal behavior in a way that would line us up perfectly to get amazing photos, and would go above and beyond to find the perfect angles! He was so much fun to be around and taught us so much about the animals, environment, and culture. I highly recommend requesting him if you’re looking for someone to help you get unique shots instead of just following the other tour drivers.
The operator itself was extremely kind, helpful, and quick to answer all questions! There wasn’t a ton of info shared prior to the trip, so make sure to do research for packing. A few things that made a difference in our trip (5 day camping safari):
• towel that dries quickly
• body wipes for dusty days (and nights where hot showers are limited)
• sleeping bag liner
• toilet paper
• snacks for the car (the meals are AMAZING and super filling but sometimes we had late lunches if we saw cool things)
• covers for your face to shield from dust
• shower shoes
• outlet converter for charging in the car
• good binoculars
• clips for hanging bags in the shower/bathroom
• a small duffel bag to leave anything you don’t need on safari at the hotel
This was the trip of a lifetime and we’re so grateful for Suricata Safaris (and Jordan) for making it such a great time!

Much more than just a Tour Operator!
After a few days of research, I decided to book our safari with Inspired Budget despite the fact that they had fewer reviews than other tour operators and it turned out to be an excellent decision!
From day one, Lina was incredibly helpful and kind, answering all my questions and providing all the information I needed. She tailored the tour to our preferences and in the end we had the best experience we could have hoped.
On top of that, she went above and beyond by helping us with something unrelated to the safari itself. She solved a major issue that came up during our trip by booking train tickets for us ( tickets we would never have managed to get on our own) which truly saved our vacation!

An amazing safari with Gilbert, a professional and very kind guide!
This safari was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
We spent 5 days and 4 nights with Gilbert (our dover and guide) going through Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Tarangire and I still can’t believe how many things we saw.
Gilbert was amazing at always putting us in the right place at the right time, like elephants literally walking right next to the jeep, a bunch of puppy cheetas with the mom, and those super quiet moments just watching lions chill. It never felt stressful or chaotic, which I really appreciated.
And the animals… I mean WOW. We saw the Big Five and somehow even three leopards (still not over it, honestly). I kept thinking “ok this is the highlight” and then the next day got even better!
Also Gilbert is just such a calm, good energy person. He always checked in on us, made sure we were comfortable, and honestly made the whole trip feel super easy and fun at the same time.
I came back home exhausted but SO happy. My camera roll is basically just lions, elephants and me screaming in the background 😂

Reliable
From a practical point of view, Gilbert is an outstanding safari driver and guide. We spent 4 nights and 5 days with him across, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and everything was extremely well organized.
His driving skills are excellent — especially on long and sometimes rough roads — and he always seemed to know the exact timing and positioning needed to maximize wildlife sightings. We never felt lost or uncertain; everything was handled with confidence and precision.
One thing that impressed me was his ability to read animal behavior and park conditions. Thanks to that, we managed to see an incredible amount of wildlife, including the Big Five and three leopards, which is not something you just get by chance.
He is also very reliable with logistics: punctual, prepared, and always focused on making the itinerary work smoothly without stress.
If you are looking for someone highly professional who truly knows the parks inside out, Gilbert is absolutely the right choice.

Reliable consultant and professional guide
My husband and I had a private 6-day tour in August, 2026. We really appreciate our consultant Tausi for tracking our lost luggage and contacting with us in a real-time and effective way. Besides, our guide Mr. Ombeni (Praise) is awesome and professional. In these days, we luckily saw many rare animals like leopards (3 times), rhinos (2 times), black-backed jackal, cheetah family and serval. Most of these animals were spotted in a short distance. Regarding the river Mala, we spent less than 4 hours to see the large-scale migration of wildebeest. Ombeni’ kindness, honesty and passion is really impressive. He carefully answered all questions we were curious about, and showed high understanding of the wildlife. Overall, we highly recommend visitors to join Serengeti African tour and choose our guide Mr. Ombeni.
