Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to witness the majestic Big Five and countless other awe-inspiring animals in their natural home. One of the most breathtaking moments was seeing the Great Migration at the Mara River crossing. It was a scene so powerful and humbling that it moved us deeply. Our accommodations felt like a home away from home. They were comforting, beautifully set amidst nature, and welcoming in a way that made us feel completely relaxed. Every meal was a delight, nourishing not just our bodies but our spirits as well. One of the most touching experiences was visiting a Maasai village. There, we connected with the people, their traditions, and their way of life. It was an encounter that opened our eyes and hearts.

In my experience, I felt deceived and misled by this company.
Our 12 day tour had some highlights (mostly the animals), but many lowlights including non payment for accommodation and park fees and extensive delays at border crossings.
We had paid in full for our 12 day tour prior to departure, but continually had problems with accommodation and park entry due to non payment by Africa Marvel. Every time I called them while on tour to find out the problem, the owner was at the bank trying to arrange finance to keep our tour running. It seems all the money we had paid was being used to keep the business afloat, and not provide the tours we paid for. Even our 4 day tour to Rwanda to see the gorillas was cancelled the NIGHT before we were due to leave, despite promises made during the previous week all was on track. It was finally admitted by Africa Marvel that they never made ANY of the bookings for this tour, despite taking our full payment. Everything they have been telling us was a lie - they have been behaving criminally and should be put out of business before they can take other peoples money.
Of course, they have promised (many times) to repay all monies owed to our group, but deadlines have come and gone, and they have made no real effort to repay, and we don't hold out any hope of seeing our money.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of them.

We booked a 8 day Budget Safari Tour, which was at the end 5 days Safari, day 1 was pick up from the airport & city tour in Arusha which was also very interesting, day 7 was a guided tour to the Hadzabe People at Lake Eyasi und day 8 drop off at the airport. The other days we went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Tarangire, where we could see all the big 5 and had a great tour guide. Erick was very helpful when we wanted to make an upgrade for bedded tents instead of a bush camp. He always answered very fast & wanted the best solution for us. All in all we were very happy with the tour, except from the fact that we were never a real group, instead of that people stayed at different accomodations which led to long waiting times.

Gosheni is the best safari in Tanzania ! Samir is the best guide in Africa!!!
We spent months researching for the best tour company and chose Gosheni for our honeymoon. 8 day safari to north Tanzania from Arusha and 6 days in Zanzibar. They took care of every detail. It was so smooth. Marline did a great job booking it all including all the great hotels and safari camps.
The safari was amazing. Samir has over 13 years as a guide. Very experienced, a great driver and knowledgable in the animas and culture. He always got us in close to the animals and positioned us for the best camera shots. It was clear he was a better guide than other large companies. We were just 2 in the jeep while other companies had 6-7 people. A good guide and truck is critical as you will spend 12-13 hours a day in it over very rough terrain. Some of the big tour companies are like a chain - inexperienced drivers. Stuck to the best - Gosheni.
We saw every animal! Leopard, rhino, hippo, cheetah, lion, elephant, zebras I think we saw several hundred thousand !!!
The hot air balloon was amazing. Do not pass it up. It’s a once in a lifetime experience

A great safari with Shoes
Everything was great! Shoes is a very friendly man with a lot of experience. He knew a lot about the wildlife and shared it with us. We also laughed a lot and had a great day. I would highly recommend him and the other crew.

Amazing trip, a highlight of our honeymoon!
We had such an epic trip with Weltweit Adventures. Organisation and communication with Baraka was very smooth. We were given good advice on what kit to bring and what we could hire. Our team Matty, Stephen, Elasto and Joseph were absolutely amazing and looked after us so well making sure we were well fuelled and rested and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The local porters also carry an immense amount of weight up to the huts for you! For how remote we were the food was amazingly well balanced, varied and substantial - Elasto made amazing soups! The huts were so much nicer and more comfortable than we were expecting, we were provided with warm water each night to wash, just make sure you bring a power bank to charge your phone so you have battery for photos. If you are visiting Tanzania this trip is a must!! A real highlight of our honeymoon and money very well spent. Many thanks for having us!

Beware beware beware, never again
In a group of 11 and we all paid in full for a Safari holiday to African Marvel. Expecting a holiday to remember but what we got was their management not paying hotels, lodges and park fees and we lost big chunks of time where we should have been viewing Kenya and Tanzania wonders. What we got was hours waiting at park entries, or in hotels not being able to leave because the bill wasn't paid by African Marvel. Tourism is very important for Kenya and Tanzania but this experience has left a bad feeling and we have told family and friends our experiences, a nightmare of failed promises by management. That said the guides were amazing, hotels, lodges, food were also amazing. Even the guides weren't getting paid and relied on our daily tips to survive. So based on my experience, do not use this company, find a company that you can trust. Yes we paid in full but that doesn't guarantee a flowing, wonderful holiday with beautiful countries, animals and locals. Find a financial operator that does put your money into your holiday. Beware, please beware.
Update, now been over 3 weeks and no promised money has been transferred from African Marvel to our group. All words and clearly no action or no care!

Steenbok Safaris organised 20days of visit to various national parks in Botswana for us with great expertise. Moabi is a highly skilled guide wo knows all about animals, birds included. He was accompanied by the cook TT , who prepared delicious meals for us over a wood fire.
