Unforgettable Safari! Shoutout to Our Guide Emmanuel & the Amazing Team!
Just back from an absolute dream of a safari, and I have to give a massive shoutout to our guide, Emmanuel, and the entire team!
Emmanuel was simply incredible. Punctual, professional, and a walking encyclopedia of the bush! We nicknamed him "The Professor" because he not only spotted animals we'd never have seen (seriously, his eyesight is superhero-level!), but he also shared the most fascinating facts about their behavior and the ecosystem. Plus, he kept our vehicle immaculate every single day—a small thing that makes a huge difference on long drives.
The company itself was flawless. They delivered on everything they promised, from the itinerary to the lodges. We felt genuinely cared for, with daily check-ins to ensure we were happy. And the biggest surprise? They arranged a birthday cake for one of us during the trip! Such a thoughtful, personal touch that we'll never forget.
If you're planning a safari and want a guide who's both deeply knowledgeable and a great guy, plus a company that truly goes the extra mile, look no further. Huge thanks to Emmanuel and the whole team for memories we'll cherish forever!

An Unforgettable 5-Day Safari: Professional, Expert Guide, and Perfect Logistics!
We went on a 5-day safari (Naivasha, Nakuru, and Masai Mara) with Splendid Vacations. From the start, Maryann was super kind, helpful, and thorough. Once we arrived, we met our driver/guide, Rono, whom we can only thank and recommend to anyone who wants to book with them. Rono answered all our questions expertly and is an excellent driver. He managed to show us all the animals we wanted to see, letting us take all the photos we wanted.
Highly recommended!

Super safari experience
Our tour was great. We had a super guide called Charles. He was very reliable and has a big knowledge about the animals. He also answerd all our questions about culture and people. We could always tell our wishes and he tried to fullfill them as far as possible. Water was included as much as we needed during the safari. We can absolutely recommend Charles as your safari guide! Asante sana! The safari was well organized and we always had a person to ask if there were any questions about scedule and so on. The camp was nice and clean. No warm water but that was no problem for us. Food was also good and the stuff very polite. We also had a view on the Kilimandscharo from our tent.

Beyond a Safari - A Life-Changing Family Experience!
We just finished our safari with Le Kobe Adventures, and we are still speechless. From start to finish, the organization was phenomenal and flawless.
Our guide, Jeff (famously known as Mr. Happy Happy), was the heart of this trip. The kids absolutely adored him! He has "Hawk Eyes" – he can spot animals from miles away and seems to have a sixth sense for feeling exactly where the wildlife will be.
Thanks to his expertise and passion, we managed to see all of the Big 5! But for us, it’s actually the Big 6, with the amazing Jeff being the 6th member. His energy, kindness, and knowledge made this an experience our family will cherish for a lifetime.
If you are looking for a perfectly organized safari with a guide who truly feels the wild, look no further than Le Kobe Adventures and ask for Mr. Happy Happy.
Asante Sana, Jeff!

Good experience, but expected better organization for $6,000+
We did a 9-day trip with Safari Soles. Overall, we enjoyed the trip because Tanzania’s wildlife never disappoints—we saw everything, the Big 5 and the Ugly 5. But honestly, if we had gone with any other company, the wildlife part would have been the same. The difference is the service, and for the money we spent (over $6,000), there were too many "hiccups" that really bothered us.
Guide : First, the guide situation felt like a total last-minute decision. We saw reviews mentioning specific guides, but we were assigned a freelancer with no info given to us beforehand. When we met him, he was very quiet. For the first 2 days, we had to ask him for info instead of him telling us. By the end of the trip, we actually became very good friends and he was a great driver/knowledgeable, but when you pay this much, you expect more from day one, not someone you have to warm up for days.
We talked about it to Safari Soles on very first day, they said they'd talk to management. But we're already deep in the parks for 3 days, so there's nothing they can actually do at that point. We just had to accept it and make the best of it which we did eventually.
Food: We told them multiple times "no beef, no pork," but we were still served beef. The guide/lodges clearly weren't informed properly.
Hotel : During the initial discussion we were proposed a booking for Serengeti Safari Haven, but then the company told us there was some "confusion" about availability and moved us to Tukaone Camps instead.
Accommodation Quality: One of our stays (supposed to be mid-range) was the worst night ever. No AC, no fan, and full of mosquitoes. We couldn't sleep at all. At another hotel, they didn't even have our booking on file when we arrived. They don't actually check these places out, or they know they're bad and book them anyway because they're cheap.
Transport: On our day trip to Kilimanjaro, they sent a car with AC not working. We were driving on broken, dusty roads with windows open in the heat.
Overall, the management is nice and very reactive when things go wrong, but these small things add up. When you spend this kind of money, you don't expect to deal with basic issues like booking errors or hot cars. We left wondering if we should have booked with a different operator.
