Three unforgettable days — highly recommended!
5/5

I came back from this safari more than a month ago, and I still think about it every single day.
As a solo female traveler, I was a bit intimidated at first by the idea of exploring part of Uganda on my own. The main purpose of my trip was to meet a group of friends and visit the southern part of the country together, but I really wanted to explore the north as well. Initially, I was hesitant because the Google reviews I found were all excellent, but mostly related to walking tours in Entebbe and Kampala.
However, I can confidently say that my three-day safari to Ziwa Reserve, Murchison Falls, and Murchison Falls National Park was absolutely incredible.
I also started with relatively low expectations because, among all the quotes I received from different safari companies, this one was the most affordable — about 30% cheaper than other operators. But I quickly realized there was no reason to worry. Nickson and Lorand, my guide, were extremely professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process.
I had booked a shared tour, but due to a date change by the other guests, I ended up being the only traveler — and Lorand made me feel like a true queen. During the drives, he shared his deep knowledge of the country and his experience as a safari guide. At each stop, he proved to be very competent and well connected with local operators. For every activity, we were accompanied by armed rangers who guided us safely through the safaris.
The night safari, in particular, was unforgettable: we saw two leopards, two genets, five lionesses with four cubs, and much more. It was truly magical.
I can’t recommend Abantubo enough, and if I return to Uganda, I will definitely contact them again.
Until next time!

Extraordinary
5/5

I had the most incredible safari experience thanks to our guide, Francis! From the very beginning, he was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about wildlife. He always knew exactly where to go and somehow managed to spot animals we would have completely missed on our own.

Great Variety, Knowledgeable Guide, Luxury Accommodations, and Fantastic Value!
5/5

My family and I had the pleasure of taking a 6 day/7 night safari tour with Eliteways Travel and Safaris. We spent months tailoring their luxury safari tour to our specific preferences and we were not disappointed!

The first leg started in Samburu. The resort they reserved for us (Sarova Shaba Game Lodge) was amazing! The food, grounds, and room were impressive! We had a family suite that had plenty of room for my family. We loved the fish therapy, which was a fun, unique, and free experience. We did multiple safari drives while there and saw almost all of the “Special Five” animals for that region of Kenya (above the Equator). Sospeter, our guide and owner of Eliteways, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife in the region. He always seemed to know where to find the animals we were interested in and his vision in spotting animals from a distance was incredible. We saw an elephant, gerenuks, baboons, numerous types of antelopes.

Our second stop was Lake Nakuru and we stayed at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. The room and grounds were top notch! We stayed in a Ziwa suite and it was incredibly roomy and well appointed for my family (2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). The food was amazing and had a wonderful selection. As for the safari drive, the Lake Nakuru Natural Park had an excellent variety of animals to see. The park also serves as rhino sanctuary and we were not disappointed! We saw at least 8 endangered black rhinos, giraffes, and multiple other animals. Once again, Sospeter worked his magic and found amazing spots to view the animals in close proximity to the vehicle.

Our final stop was the famous Masai Mara. We stayed at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. We had the pleasure of staying in a luxury family tent (essentially two connected tents) with a wonderful common living room area and an amazing back porch that oversaw the local area and nearby river. The food and activities were excellent. We enjoyed the pool and had fun trying archery for the first time. The game drives proved why this nature reserve is so famous! We saw numerous lions, a cheetah, and large numbers of elephants and giraffes. Sospeter also planned a balloon safari (possibly my favorite of the safari) where we saw countless elephants, giraffes, hyenas, buffaloes, and antelope herds. The view was amazing and was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the ground, Sospeter found a place where a pack of lions recently took down a buffalo and learned how numerous species share the food.

On the way back to Nairobi before flying out, we did a boat tour in Lake Naivasha (a great spot for seeing hippos and numerous birds). We also got to see Crescent Island, which was part of the setting in the movie Out of Africa. Multiple animals species inhabit the island (hippos, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, etc.) that you can see clearly from the boat. Before all was said and done, got to visit the Giraffe Center in Nairobi to see and feed a number of endangered Rothschild giraffes.

Overall, my family and I had an amazing time! The accommodations and safari locations exceeded our expectations. I also can’t say enough about Sospeter and his team. They helped us plan an amazing safari and their knowledge and love for safaris really came through while on the game drives.

This was my family’s first time doing a safari and visiting Kenya and I will certainly return. There are hundreds of safari tour operators in Kenya and I really feel like we found the best company in Eliteways. They really took the time to tailor a comprehensive and varied safari package to our needs which I also thought was a wonderful value. Give Eliteways a chance and I’m certain you will have the safari experience of a lifetime!

Amazing adventure
5/5

My girlfriend and I went on the private 4 day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We had a great guide, Kareem. He knew all the best spots and we managed to see all the animals we wanted. Ngorongoro was really a highlight! Fantastic scenery. One downside was that the timeline was maybe a bit tight, and one more night in Serengeti would have been good.

Going in February/March was really nice with really green nature and not too many tourists. It rained a lot but we were lucky, so it only rained at night.

Migration Venture felt like a good company and we hade lunch boxes every day and good accommodations. staying over night inside Serengeti was really cool.

One complaint is that the Safari car lacked seat belts in the back seat. During the game drive that was fine but we felt a bit unsafe on the mountain roads and the normal highways outside the natural parks.

From the very first contact to the very last: simply outstanding. Memories for life!
5/5

From the very first contact to the very last: simply outstanding! During the safari we saw many other tour operators at work, but based on an objective comparison, Kentau truly stands out above the rest.

They are enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, and show genuine respect for nature and wildlife. Where others turn right, Kentau turns left and creating those unique experiences. Although a safari is always partly a matter of luck, their expertise allowed us to tick off so many special moments. Not just the lions, hippos, and elephants, but also tracking footprints, spotting birds of prey, and even noticing a dung beetle while driving. Nothing escapes the trained eyes of the Kentau team…especially Modi, our driver and guide.

Beyond the safari itself, they also show you so much along the way, as you pass through different villages. You truly get to know the beauty and character of Kenya during your journey.

Don’t hesitate and book your safari with this organization! Dominic supports you perfectly in advance via the app, and Modi takes care of the rest. A golden combination. See you soon again.

Highly enjoyable tours led by true professionals
5/5

They took us as close to Nature as possible (Safety first) and we could see lots of species of animals. Not only the big Fives but all sorts of birds (eagles, vultures, marabouts, butterflies and chameleon.)
We also had a chance to meet traditional culture, when singing and dancing with people from a village or the camp site. Very warm and moving expériences.
