I was incredibly fortunate to have Ryan from Untamed Safaris plan my safari trip of a lifetime. Ryan was simply AMAZING, and I honestly don’t believe the experience would have been as wonderful without him.
He took the time to understand the type of traveller I am and planned everything perfectly, from how long I stayed in each place to how the journey was divided. I saw absolutely everything I had hoped for, including the migration and the most incredible up-close animals.

Our guides, Joseph and Assad, brought over a decade of experience to the trip. Their expertise was evident in their exceptional driving, deep knowledge of the local wildlife, and incredible spotting skills—helping us see everything from the Big Five to a leopard in a tree with its prey, stalking cheetahs in the grass, and hard-to-find foxes. It was awe-inspiring to see so much wildlife in its natural habitat. To top it off, we enjoyed delicious, hot traditional local lunches right on the Serengeti, which further elevated an already exceptional experience. Other tours had box lunches.

Experience and availability of the staff
Our first safari with Akondo and our driver, Ephata. Excellent organization, and thanks to Ephata’s experience, we were able to see so many animals, including some of the rarer ones. All the places we stayed during the different days of the safari were perfect and offered every comfort.

Safari Review
We had a really memorable safari experience with this team. From the start, the communication and organisation with Bildad were excellent, and everything felt smooth and well planned without being overly structured.
What stood out most was the quality of the safari itself. Our driver/guide - Newton and Lawrence, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the reserve, knew where to look, and was genuinely committed to making the experience special for our family. We had some fantastic sightings and never felt rushed — there was always time to stop, observe and enjoy the moment.
The team was also very attentive throughout the trip and made us feel well looked after. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the experience we had, rather than simply taking us from one game drive to the next.
Overall, an excellent experience and one we would happily recommend. We came away with some wonderful memories and would definitely use them again for a future safari.

An Experience Beyond Expectations
From the very beginning, this safari was an experience that went far beyond our expectations.
Even before setting foot in the savannah, we exchanged several emails with our contact person, Nathan, who managed every single detail of our safari impeccably. He listened carefully to all our requests, understood exactly what we were looking for, and selected the best possible options for our needs. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and perfectly organized. A huge thank you goes to Nathan first and foremost — he truly set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
And then came the accommodations… simply INCREDIBLE.
Luxurious, beautifully located, and with staff who genuinely stay in your heart. Each place offered something unique, turning the safari into much more than just a wildlife experience. They made every evening and every morning even more comfortable, authentic, and special. And sleeping in beautiful tents right in the middle of the savannah? Absolutely unforgettable. It sounds adventurous — and it is — but somehow you feel safer there than in many places elsewhere in the world. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the wild is an experience that is very difficult to put into words.
Last but certainly not least, an honourable mention — and honestly, much more than that — goes to our guide, Agrey.
For the entire safari, Agrey was with us in the jeep, which very quickly became our second home. He is an incredibly experienced guide, always ready to answer our endless questions, genuinely passionate about what he does, and blessed with a smile that never seemed to disappear.
His knowledge of the savannah, combined with his extraordinary driving skills and ability to understand animal behaviour, allowed us to witness countless unique moments. Thanks to him, we were able to see practically every animal we had hoped for — from the tiniest creatures to the most impressive giants of the savannah — often in situations we could never have imagined.
But what made the experience truly special was the sense of trust and safety he inspired every single day. We always felt that we were in excellent hands, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment, keep our eyes wide open, and let the savannah surprise us.
And believe me, it did.
This safari was not simply a trip. It was an adventure, a collection of unforgettable moments, incredible people, breathtaking landscapes, and stories that we will be telling for a very long time.
We arrived with high expectations.

An unforgettable week in Tanzania
We booked a week-long Tanzania safari through Imani and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish the itinerary was superb — the accommodations were great, the parks chosen were beautiful, and the mix of activities kept every day fresh. The game drives, the balloon safari, and the walking safari were all highlights in their own right. It was the best possible way to explore the country in a week.
Special credit goes to Mike, who coordinated everything behind the scenes. We hit a few hiccups early on, but the way they were handled was genuinely impressive — quick, calm, and always accommodating. That kind of responsiveness is rare and gave us real confidence for the rest of the trip.
Our guide Josephite deserves a review all his own. His deep knowledge of the animals, sharp eyes, skilled driving, and a healthy dose of luck helped us spot the Big Ten and so much more — all while keeping us safe throughout. His fun character made the whole tour a joy, and our celebrations when we found the big cats and watched the wildebeest crossing will stay with us for years.

Denis is an extraordinary driver and guide—exceptionally skilled, patient, and deeply knowledgeable about Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes. His eagle-eyed ability to spot animals from afar made our game drives unforgettable. Beyond his spot-on tracking skills, Denis was always punctual, kept us safe on long drives, and brought wonderful warmth and humor to every single day.
