An unforgettable seven-day safari with Axis Africa — thank you, Mohamed
I booked the seven-day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli joining safari with Axis Africa after reading the glowing online reviews, and the company fully lived up to them. From my initial enquiries to the final day of the trip, everything was smooth and well organised. Tabitha in the office answered all my questions before booking, and her communication was always clear and responsive. Our group had the pleasure of having Mohamed as our guide, and he was truly fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole trip unforgettable. We saw the Big Five, and during the long drives he not only answered our questions but also told us about life in Kenya, local traditions, the people and family life. These conversations made the experience feel much more personal. His communication throughout the safari was excellent: we always knew where we were going, what we would be doing and what time we would be picked up the next day. From day one, he tried to remember everyone's names, which was a lovely touch. He also warned us before moving the car to get a different view of the animals, helping everyone avoid injury. These may seem like small details, but they showed how much he cared about giving guests the best possible experience. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and well looked after throughout the trip.
It is also worth noting that, with a joining safari, the group can change after the third or fourth day. My fellow travellers and I had not realised this beforehand. For the final part of my tour in Amboseli, I joined another group, with John as our guide. He was also knowledgeable and brought us back to Nairobi safe and sound.
I had an amazing time in Kenya. I met so many lovely people and saw countless incredible animals. Seeing them in their natural habitat for the very first time was truly special, and the sunset in the Masai Mara was unforgettable. If you are thinking about doing a safari, I would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Axis Africa — you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Axis Africa and Mohamed.

Very organised and great communication!
From the moment we booked with Akondo, the communication and organisation of the trip was exceptional. Any questions we had were answered promptly and they listened to everything we wanted within our package. Once we arrived in the Serengeti, we were greeted by our extremely knowledgeable and friendly safari guide Richard. He made our trip so enjoyable and we were able to capture images and videos which we will cherish forever thanks to him. His English was brilliant and he had a great understanding of the game drives and where the likely place would be to spot specific animals. Reliable and gd value for money
We had an awesome 10-day safari in Kenya with Beyond the Plains!
First of all, Sammy was helpful and quick in reply, he answered all our questions related to itinerary and accommodation. We got the whole trip planned and fixed just in 2 weeks time! We were happy with the hotel options and even got free upgrades in Tsavo West and Maasai Mara! We could see elephants and hippos from our room!!
Our experienced driver and guide John is the key of such a joyful and exciting safari experience. He drove safely and skillfully on bumpy roads, always stopping at the perfect locations for us to see clearly animals passing by or walking towards us! He is flexible and patient, allowing us all the time we need for observation and photos. John has sharp eyes and he understands animal behavior so well, he was always able to spot rare moments: we saw all Big 5, leapords hiding and resting, lions mating, zebras fighting, buffalo having mud bath, hippo marking territory, etc… we learnt so much about animals and birds from him.
John is reliable, he prepared everything we need throughout the journey, from keeping the jeep clean, arranging lunch (with wines!) in safari, to designing routes (honour our priorities), securing our spots for hotairballoon… he made our journey so safe, smooth and memorable!
Having returned home for a week, we are already missing the African safari and thinking of going with Beyond the Plains again!

Tanzania Adventure
Wow! What a wonderful trip. Gifton and driver-Arnold went all out, made be feel like a “King”! Tour included Zanzibar, North and Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire, plus some hiking and a coffee farm tour near Arusha. They listened and my requested changes in the schedule were made.
Some highlights include spotting leopards 3 times, 2 of which had a cub! Having elephants, including a very young one, and zebras nearby our lodging at a water hole on site! Waking up and finding Cape Buffalo and zebras in the midst of our camp and giraffes nearby and then finding my video of them there is the sound of a lion growling nearby, which I never saw. Booking my last couple nights at giraffe Manor near Arusha. Feeding the giraffes on-site during breakfast and seeing them on the lawn with the Elands just outside my room was amazing!
I will be recommending Take Me To Tanzania to others and I expect to be using Take Me To Tanzania in the future!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience!
What an incredible safari from start to finish! The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide was professional, friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. He made every game drive exciting and took the time to make sure we had the best possible views and plenty of opportunities for photos.
Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking, and every day brought something new and memorable. The scenery was stunning, the trip was well organized, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire tour.
What really made the experience special was the excellent service and genuine passion of our guide. You could tell that he truly loves what he does, and his knowledge and enthusiasm made the safari even more enjoyable.
