Amazing, experienced and warm
As a trip of a lifetime for the family, this safari had to be extra special and Benson Safaris ensured that every step of the way we were given one of the most amazing experiences we will ever have. From shaping the right trip for us, to pre-planning check lists to the most wonderfully warm and experienced staff, I cannot speak highly enough of the service we had.
We deliberately chose a local operator, not only to support local businesses but to also have a more personal touch.
Dolphine was always on hand to answer any queries while our guide Liberatus was so friendly and immensely experienced (he's been driving safaris for more than 15 years) - giving us confidence that we would have the best wildlife sightings timed to avoid the larger crowds. He even managed to find us two sightings of leopards, which are notoriously hard to spot!
The children gave up the count of the number of different species we saw at 30 plus but the incredible images and memories of four days on the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater will stay with us forever.

Mulie is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and considerate - one could not ask for a better guide to the remarkable churches of Lalibela. Due to a prior accident, I had shoulder/arm pain. Mulie carried my heavy bag, took photos for me,, and carefully guided me along sometimes tricky passageways. He was also punctual. He has my highest recommendation!

Extremely communicative and goes out of your way to make you feel safe and confident!
I worked with Janet and she was beyond communicative throughout the entire process—before, during, and after the trip. I planned on camping the entire time. It was an incredible experience, but wanted to end the trip in a nicer hotel and she immediately switched me to exactly what I was looking for while I was still on safari. At the end of the of the trip she accompanied me to the accommodations I booked by myself (Kia lodge) to make sure I got there safe since it was a longer drive from where the safari driver dropped us off.
As for the actual safari, the guides were incredible. Be aware that you most likely will be with people from different travel agencies. However, there was not much waiting around. Camping is the best option if you want to reduce travel time since the hotels are further out.
10/10 experience. I would definitely use this company again!

7 Days Machame Route – A Real Adventure ✨🏔️
The 7 Days Machame Route to Kilimanjaro was an incredible adventure. We went as a group of 5 friends, accompanied by our amazing guides: Justin, Naomi, and Zacharia, as well as by 17 crew members, including lovely Kelvin, Dastan, and George, who made sure we are fed, warm, and happy at all times.
I would not have made it to the summit if it wasn't for them. The trek was very challenging due to the altitude but the crew motivated us every step of the way whilst making sure we are safe to continue.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jocky Tours and Safaris on our Maasai Mara safari. From the initial communication and planning to the end of the tour, everything was handled professionally, smoothly and reliably.
The communication was excellent, the arrangements were well organised, and we felt that the safari offered very good value for money. Everything was clearly explained, and we were well looked after throughout the trip.
A special mention must go to our incredible tour guide, Junior, who was truly exceptional. His extensive experience, deep knowledge of the Maasai Mara ecosystem, and strong background and understanding of the Maasai people made a huge difference to our experience. He knew the park extremely well and was remarkably skilled at locating wildlife.
Junior went above and beyond to help us find as many animals as possible, including the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. His ability to spot animals that were often difficult to see was remarkable, and he always took the time to explain what we were seeing and share fascinating information about the animals, the environment and the Maasai culture.
What impressed us most was his dedication and genuine passion for his work. He was patient, professional, friendly and attentive to our family, including our children. He made every game drive exciting and memorable and always did his very best to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.
In our opinion, Junior is the best person for the job. His massive experience, knowledge of the Mara and understanding of the local Maasai community make him an outstanding safari guide. Having Junior as our guide was one of the highlights of our trip, and we feel very fortunate to have had him.
The Maasai Mara itself was breathtaking, and thanks in large part to Junior’s expertise and determination, we were able to see an incredible variety of wildlife and have an experience that our family will remember for many years to come.
We highly recommend Jocky Tours and Safaris, and if you are fortunate enough to have Junior as your guide, you are in excellent hands. He truly made our safari special. We would definitely choose Jocky Tours and Safaris again!

We had an amazing experience with Serengeti Insider Safaris. The entire experience has been great; from the moment of conceptualizing the intinerary to the final day. They helped us plan a wonderful intinerary. We ended up doing a 4 day Serengeti and ngorongo safari with a clear main goal; see the Great Migration
Our driver-guide Max was the absolute hero of the show. Aside from being a warm and wonderful person he made sure we had the best safari we could possibly have. With his experience and intuition he fulfilled all our wishes. He thought and strategized with us on the go.
This rewarded us with sighting two river crossings on the same day and literally any other animal we wished to see, and even more.
Would recommend this to anyone.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience with Africa Starpals! From the beginning to the end, everything was very well organized and professional by Paul and our guide, Manu (who xan speak some Chinese). The communication was smooth, the accommodations were excellent, and the entire trip was handled with great attention to detail.

He had an incredible ability to spot animals that we would never have noticed ourselves, and he always took the time to explain their behavior and the surrounding environment. His driving skills were also excellent, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey.

We had the most amazing safari experience carefully planned for us by Wayne. We had to plan this trip just weeks before the exact date we needed, and it was high season.
