We had an amazing experience with peak season safari. The pre-arrival and early booking communication with Stephen was seamless. He was always responsive, helpful, and made the planning process very easy.
Our guide, Japeth (Jeff), was exceptional throughout our 7-day safari. He was always punctual, attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about his work, and a fantastic driver. Most importantly, he made sure we were able to see all the animals we hoped to encounter.
We highly recommend both Stephen and Jeff to anyone planning a safari. They made our trip truly unforgettable.

Incredible safari!
We had an incredible time with Lion King and our guide Emanuel. We saw multiple lions, cheetahs, rhinos, the Mara river crossing, and a leopard (and all kinds of other stuff). Emanuel is an excellent guide, a very safe driver, very knowledgeable about wildlife and culture, and did a great job spotting and finding animals. Lion King also booked us into some very nice camps, and they were able to accomadate vegetarian with no problem. Highly recommend!

Southern Parks
A fantastic trip. We had previously drawn up a detailed plan for our 10-day journey through the parks of southern Tanzania (Mikumi, Ruaha, Nyerere, and Udzungwa). With less than two months' notice, Robert was able to organize a complete safari for us at a very competitive price. Email communication was quick and seamless, allowing us to fine-tune the itinerary based on our preferences and his expert recommendations; we also used WhatsApp when necessary. Once there, everything went exactly as planned—or even better. We were lucky enough to have Samuel as our guide; it is clear that he truly loves his job. We visited all four national parks, staying at a selection of well-chosen lodges and hotels. I would certainly recommend contacting this company if you are planning a trip to southern Tanzania.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience — 10/10!
We just returned from our honeymoon in Tanzania, which included 8 unforgettable days on safari with Meijo Safaris, and our experience was truly better than we could have ever imagined.
From the very beginning, everything was seamless. Ramadhan from Meijo Safaris’ sales team helped us design our trip and was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. We were then warmly welcomed at the airport by John, and from there, our amazing guide Herman made the entire experience truly exceptional.
We visited Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and Herman was absolutely fantastic throughout every part of the journey. His professional and calm demeanor, respectful and genuinely pleasant personality, and incredible knowledge of the parks made us feel completely safe and well taken care of at all times. And a huge shoutout to his amazing driving skills — we always felt in very good hands!
At the same time, Herman somehow managed to make sure we saw virtually everything we had hoped for. We were incredibly lucky to see all of the Big Five, the Wildebeest Mara River crossing, a few hunts, and so many other incredible animals and unforgettable moments. His ability to spot animals and understand their behavior was remarkable, and he always took the time to make sure we could enjoy each sighting without feeling rushed.
Another huge plus for us was how much we felt that nature and wildlife were genuinely respected throughout the safari. We never felt like we were part of huge groups of vehicles chasing animals or disrupting their behavior. The experience felt much more respectful and authentic, which was especially important to us.
We also really appreciated that Meijo Safaris is a Maasai-owned, locally run and locally staffed Tanzanian company. Supporting local businesses is an important part of how we like to travel, so this was a meaningful aspect of our experience and something we encourage other travelers to consider when choosing a safari company.
We genuinely loved every second of our safari and would recommend Meijo Safaris without hesitation to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. From the organization and communication to the guiding, driving, wildlife experiences, and overall care, everything was 10/10 from beginning to end.
And finally, a special mention to Raj (@rajab_sige), the young photographer who joined us through Meijo Safaris. Having him with us was such a wonderful addition to our honeymoon. His beautiful photographs captured our experience in a way that means we will be able to relive these memories forever. Beyond being incredibly talented, Raj was also a delightful travel companion and fit seamlessly into our safari experience. We highly recommend him as well!

Freeingo Safaris organized our 3-days trip around 3 of the most beautiful sites in Tanzania. The organization with Freeingo was excellent. We went on a three-day safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara, and it was fantastic. Akai and Jhonson were very helpful with any requests or questions we had, as was our driver. Highly recommended for value for money!
