The tour is very well organised. It include pick up even a bit outside of Dar. The communication was great, and driver was very prompt on both sides. I would definitely recommend this tour, as it is a good value for money.

Once in a lifetime experience
5/5

From start to finish they were really helpful. Answered any questions we had before we went and while on the safari keep checking in on us. We got to see so many animals thanks to Lucas who really looked after us on the safari. The hot air balloon experience was expensive but well worth it. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

Well Organized, Good Knowledge and Good Value for Money.
5/5

They pick us at 4:00am in Nungwi (with no delays) in a private shutle to Zanzibar Airport (around 1:30h driving). There we pick the tickets and wait for the direct flight to Mikumi that departure at 7:00h am, the flight took 45 minutes and there they were waiting for us in a private open 4x4 pick-up with a driver and a professional guide (Rui). The Safari team was amazing and they show us a lot of different animals, birds and trees, we love to see the Elephants walking near us and to see the Lion, Lioness, Zebras, Giraffes, Monkeys, Wildebeests, Impalas, Pumbas, Monkeys… etc. We lunch at lodge restaurant and the food was good and the Space was clean (for África standards), we also laught because the cars were surrounded by Monkeys, than we continue the tour, finished at Hipoo pool (thats an artificial lake but well integranted in the park and contributes to enrich the diversity of animals so we find it ok because the park dont have a lot of water and the Park Rangers decided to create that), than we took the plane back to Zanzibar and already had to see the sunset at our Hotel. Dallas team was amazing and Mikumi is possibly the best option for 1 day Safari.

3-day Safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Musa & Dennis
5/5

I booked a 3-day safari with KLA Adventures, a Tanzanian tour operator based in Arusha, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish.

The team is incredibly kind and attentive to customers’ needs. I specifically requested an Italian-speaking guide, and they arranged for me to have Mussa with us throughout the entire adventure. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to share interesting information about Tanzania and its wildlife.

Our driver, Dennis, was extremely professional and an excellent driver. He took us through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, helping us spot an incredible variety of animals. Our goal was to see all the Big Five — and we did it! 🦁🐘🐆🦏🐃

I highly recommend KLA Adventures, and especially Mussa and Dennis. They made our safari truly unforgettable and helped make the whole experience perfect.

Asante sana,

Unforgettable 10-Day Safari Through Kenya with Zawame Travel
5/5

We travelled with Zawame Travel for 10 days through Kenya, visiting Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, Amboseli National Park, Lake Naivasha, the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It was an unforgettable safari and one of the best travel experiences we have ever had.

Mike took excellent care of us throughout the whole trip. He was very attentive, flexible and always tried to adapt the game drives to what we wanted to see and experience. We never felt rushed or like we were simply following a fixed programme. Instead, the safari felt very personal and tailored to us.

His knowledge of the parks, animals and wildlife behaviour made a huge difference, and he always put a lot of effort into finding the best sightings and making every game drive special. At the same time, everything was very well organised and we always felt safe and comfortable.

We saw an incredible variety of wildlife and landscapes during the 10 days, and the entire journey exceeded our expectations.

We can highly recommend Zawame Travel, and especially Mike, to anyone looking for a personalised and memorable safari experience in Kenya. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Safari Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

We booked an 11 night safari tour through Passionate Guides Tanzania. We booked almost a year in advance and had constant contact with Catherine, from their office, right until our safari began. Our questions, which were many at times, were always answered promptly and accurately. The owner of the company met with us the night before we were picked up and provided great information regarding what to expect. We had three different drivers because we started in Kenya, went into Tanzania and then back into Kenya. Each driver was different but each had tremendous strengths and each one wanted to make our game drives the most memorable that they could be. Their experience allowed them to go to the perfect place, every time, to get the best views and photographs of animals while not being disruptive to them. The drivers were professional, courteous and full of information. We loved them all but especially loved Wiston, whom we are still in touch with. He became part of our family during our time together. The cost of the safari was well worth our experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was less expensive that I would have thought for everything that we got-private drivers/tour guides for the entire time, lodging, meals, bottled water and beginning and end transportation to/from Nairobi. I highly recommend Passionate Guides Tanzania and would not book with anyone else!

Great experience !
5/5

I did not have a lot of time to spend in Tanzania, and Ericah put together a perfect tour for me. We did the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Lake Maynara. I wanted to see hippos and our guide Joffrey made sure I had plenty of time to spend just watching the hippos. The food was plentiful. The lodges were all welcoming and had good vibes. We were well taken care of and I feel it was a great value for everything that we did. It was easy and stress free. We saw way more than just hippos, too!

Simply fantastic
5/5

The whole experience was smooth and amazing. Omar, our guide was very kind, knoledgeable and on point with everything. We really enjoyed our time and Brian handled the booking very professionally.

The safari itself was incredible, on our first day of our first safari we managed to see countless elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas, giraffes and three groups of lions and dulcis in fundo a leopard.

I don’t think we could have hoped for a better time.

Go to Kenya! Make memories, and a go with a private Tapestry of Africa tour. 5 stars is not enough.
5/5

Our family of four recently took a safari trip to Kenya with Tapestry of Africa. With an 11-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter, we had the most amazing experiences, this trip easily ranks in our top three best vacations ever.

We love to travel, and Tapestry truly outdid themselves by taking all the worry out of planning and preparing for such a big adventure. Thank you for all of your help, Matt, Albert,Hilda and Elizabeth. Also a very special thank you to the best safari guide in Kenya, Vincent! If there is an award for best tour guide in Kenya, he would have 20 trophies (he has been doing this for 20 years lol).

A Tapestry safari in Kenya is a private tour where you stay with the same guide for the entire trip. I'm convinced this is the way to go, unless you're traveling across multiple countries, I think you have to get a new guide when you cross a boarder. We absolutely loved the private experience, Vincent provided us with a wealth of details about each location and fascinating animal facts. Vincent is the AI of safaris!

I cannot recommend this trip highly enough, especially for families with young children. There's a quote I'm pretty sure is from a movie, but it rings so true: "We're just here to be memories for our kids." I promise you that going on a private safari in Kenya with Tapestry of Africa will create some of the most cherished memories for your children and your family.

A few tips:

We loved the glamping-style accommodations, particularly the Elephant Bedroom and The Cliff. They cost a bit more, but every penny was worth it.
If you can swing two nights at The Cliff, do it.
Lake Nakuru is smaller, but it's well worth a two-night stay, it was one of the nicest places we stayed during the entire trip.

Also watching Matts travel videos and meeting him in a Zoom is what sold us on using Tapestry, I could feel the care that he and everyone i worked with at the company. They wanted to do anything possible to help you be safe and have a great time.
