Our Kenya–Tanzania safari with AfricMzizi Safari Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya was truly an unforgettable experience, and we are extremely happy with the service provided by Debby and her wonderful team.
From the very beginning, AfricMzizi exceeded our expectations. We were genuinely surprised when Debby and two members of her team arrived at the airport at 5:30 in the morning to personally receive us. That first impression said a lot about their commitment and care towards their guests.
The hotels arranged for us were excellent, comfortable, well located and very affordable. The early-morning breakfasts were tasty and plentiful, which was especially appreciated on our long safari days. We were particularly impressed by the game-drive lunch packs. Everything was thoughtfully packed, including cutlery, fresh fruits and even proper fruit plates—small details that showed how much attention the team paid to our comfort.
But what really made this safari exceptional were the safari vehicles and, most importantly, our guide-cum-drivers. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely passionate about making our experience special. They went far beyond their normal duties to show us things we could hardly have imagined.
Carlos went to extraordinary lengths to make sure we got the perfect view of a lion—even ensuring that the lion turned around and showed us his face! And Mashaka demonstrated his incredible 4WD driving skills by crossing a nearly 15-foot ditch, simply to take us closer to an unbelievable group of around 20 lions. These were not just game drives; they were experiences we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Their ability to spot wildlife was equally remarkable. From seemingly nowhere, they could locate leopards and cheetahs hidden deep in the bush or resting high among tree branches. Their trained eyes and knowledge of animal behaviour were simply amazing.
One of our initial concerns was trusting a safari company found through the internet, especially when 100% payment had to be made upfront. But AfricMzizi completely justified that trust. They proved themselves to be reliable, committed, professional and, most importantly, genuinely caring throughout our entire journey.
Their care did not end when the safari ended. On our final day, Lewis came to our hotel to assist us with a smooth check-in, once again ensuring that everything was comfortable and that we were happy. This level of personal attention is something we greatly appreciated.
We are extremely happy with AfricMzizi Safari Ltd and have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending Debby and her entire team, together with their Tanzanian partners, to anyone planning a Kenya and Tanzania safari.

An experience of a lifetime
Our 9 days in Tanzania was flawless, everything went as planned. Our driver guide, Liberatus, was fantastic with his knowledge and driving skills.
During our 3 day stay in Haydom ,which is a 7 hour drive from Arusha, where we visited Haydom Lutheran Hospital and the Hazabe tripe.
Liberatus driving skills were really put to a test on the way to the Hazabe tribe. We found the well hidden tribe with the help of 2 of my old colleagues from the hospital. My 3 grown children got an amazing experience.
The following 5 days were spent on safaris in 3 different parks where we saw the big five. The highlight was the lions close up and the migration in Serengeti. The tent camps were an experience with the animal sounds at night.
From Serengeti to Zanzibar by plane with one night in Stone town where we stayed in Freddy Mercurys house. The following 5 days in Nungwi..
Downside here was a mixup in accommodations, but this did not spoil our overall experience.
The 16 day Tanzania/Zanzibar trip was an experience of a lifetime as I was able to show my children where I lived and worked in 2007-2008.
This was a custom tailored trip and Benson Safaris did an excellent job and I am forever grateful for this adventure.
Benson Safaries is a locally based company and I would highly recommend them.

Nairobi National Park Review
My brother and I booked Sam for a tour of the Nairobi National Park. We did a tour of that, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Centre.
Sam and the driver for the day, James, were excellent throughout the day. They answered our questions, were very open and forthcoming with interesting facts and ensured that we had a good time.
Would do it all over again.

Tapestry of Africa surpassed my expectations in every way.
I am 75 years old and this trip to Kenya was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Not only were my many questions answered with additional information, the response came back immediately! I felt as if I was their only client! Matt, Albert and Hilda were a wealth of assistance and information. Traveling with two friends, we all had difficulty in obtaining our visas. Hilda magically made it happen. Matt made me feel like I was a friend, not a client. Albert answered every logistical question with ample information and a welcoming spirit. Meeting other staff members upon arrival (Cleah and Elizabeth) was absolutely delightful! This company has assembled a very strong team of kind, efficient and extremely dedicated individuals. Every request made, including changing accommodations as well as an uncomfortable mattress (!!) was promptly taken care of! They even made sure I had a step-stool to climb into the vehicle!
The pacing was perfect, packing many adventures into the day but always being reminded that we had the option to take a break if needed. We were also presented with optional activities such as a hot air balloon flight and visiting a Maasai village. Both were incredible experiences!
Our group had the pleasure of having Matt lead the trip. His evening sessions were so informative and inspiring to me - and his love of Africa is contagious!
The driver/guides were incredibly knowledgeable, kind and entertaining. They made certain that we saw every animal that we came to Kenya to see and we felt very confident in their driving skills, even when rushing to a site where a lion was spotted!!
We were happy with both the very fair pricing and the itinerary for this tour. The company accommodated our wish to extend for several days and took care of every aspect of the extension. When we wanted to add some last minute excursions in Nairobi, Albert himself was the tour guide!
The Tapestry of Africa family goes above and beyond in every way. We could not be happier with this most amazing trip and company. Important fact: all proceeds past expenses are used to build medical facilities in East Africa. When I was told about this mission, there was no question which tour company we would choose. Tapestry of Africa is the best!!

Great experience
We joined a 4 days safari among amboseli, theirs hills and tsavo with the guide Cris and the driver Ali.
We very appreciated true tour, they found many animals covering a big portion of the parks.
