Spectacular journey
We just completed an 8-day safari tour in Kenya, and it was simply perfect from start to finish: a fantastic trip that exceeded our every expectation!
From the first contact with Tabitha and throughout the entire itinerary, Axis Africa Safaris' organization was impeccable.
The journey included incredible stops: from the fascinating savannah and wildlife of the Masai Mara, to the wonderful flamingos and rhinos of Lake Nakuru, to the unique landscapes of Lake Naivasha and the adventure of Hell's Gate National Park. A free bike ride through the park also allowed us to see a spectacular gorge. Concluding with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro at Amboseli, with its timeless elephants, and the red earth of Tsavo East made this expedition complete and unforgettable. Seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat and the sunsets over the savannah is a feeling that stays in your heart, just like the Big Ugly ones. :-)

Besides being an impeccable guide on any terrain, he demonstrated a profound knowledge of the local wildlife and culture, as well as an incredible eye for ensuring we always had extraordinary sightings at the right times and during the best stops.
Beyond his role as guide, Ahmed has become part of our family: a discreet, elegant, and distinguished man who exudes warmth and protection.
When we said goodbye in Watamu, our final destination, we all found ourselves in tears.

This was an amazing experience. We saw so many animals including rare ones and spectacular panoramic views on Ngorongoro and Serengeti. The accommodations was a tent in two different camps and both of them were nice. We had everything needed to enjoy this experience like USB charging in the car and warm sleeping bags to prevent the cold in Ngorongoro. But the real plus of this safari were Josh, Bob and Elvis. Bob is an amazing young cook that allows us to try so many typical and incredible meals from Tanzania. We spent two months in Tanzania and I am sure these 3 days where the ones where ate the best. Josh is one of the best guides you can find in the national parks. He can spot unique animals as little servals in the middle of the stray and provide detailed information about everything with also some crazy and funny story. They were all so kind and available to us making us feel "karibu" in this experience. I can really recommend them

Incredible
I had an amazing 3-day, 2-night safari in Maasai Mara! My guide, Kelvin, was incredibly kind and passionate, always doing his best to help me see as many animals as possible, and I was lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. Rita, who organized my trip, was also very helpful and made everything run smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!

From start to finish the process was great. Communication was great from the time I booked. They picked us up from our hotel on-time, the bus was clean, they provided lunch halfway through the safari, and our guide Peter was superb. Would definitely book again!

A memorable experience
I did a four-day safari with Ramaa, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara, and I had a great experience with him as our guide.
Ramaa is clearly very passionate about his job, and you could really see it in how determined he was to find as many animals as possible for us to see. He was always looking out for wildlife and genuinely seemed excited to show us everything he could.
He also took the time to explain what we were seeing and share interesting information about the animals. And he patiently answered every single question we asked — and believe me, there were a lot! 😅 Not only about the wildlife, but also about life in Tanzania.
I learned so much during those four days with him and really appreciated his enthusiasm, knowledge and patience.

This was the best safari experience I have had. The team were super responsive and helpful in organising our day and accommodating our changing needs. They communicated highly effectively both before and on the day of our trip. Our guide Patrick was brilliant. Super friendly and knowledgeable plus the ability to see animals before anyone else! Great communication, honest and very friendly.
We booked a safari for our family through Kibo.
I have 2 children aged 7 and 12 and wanted them to have the best experience on this trip.
We did some research back at home in the UK and came across very good reviews for Kibo.
I was sent a quote with prices that included taxi rides to and from our hotel, the flights, visas and of course the safari.
The whole experience from booking, to being picked up by Tariq from our hotel was excellent.
Once we arrived in mainland Tanzania our guide Sayed led us to the Jeep. We were lucky to have had lions walk right by us within the first 25 mins.
His knowledge was unmatched and he made the whole experience more interesting with facts about each of the animals.
Overall this whole trip was an unforgettable one and the kids were super happy.

The Best 11 Days safari in Uganda Ever
11 Days Gorillas and Chimpanzees
Wonderful trip, magnificent itinerary, and the perfect guide. We had wanted to visit Uganda for quite some time, and after considering several companies, we chose Amakula African Safaris. They suggested an itinerary tailored to the number of days we planned to spend there, allowing us to really get to know the country.
They recommended Arafat as our guide, travel companion, and driver. His professionalism, friendliness, and good-humoured, along with his determination to make sure everything went smoothly and that we came away with the best possible memories, made the entire journey truly special. We especially appreciated his flexibility and the fact that he was always willing to listen and adjust the plans whenever possible.
We felt very comfortable travelling with him and really enjoyed our time in Uganda. It wasn't an adventure trip as such, but travelling around the country was an adventure in itself.
