Kelvin is an absolutely amazing safari guide! He has an incredible eye for spotting animals from a great distance and can accurately predict their movements, always positioning the vehicle perfectly for the best views. We were super lucky that he guided us to see both the Big Five and the Ugly Five! Whenever he received news about a rare animal nearby, he would rush us there at top speed. We are incredibly happy and satisfied with this safari experience. If you are planning a trip, we highly recommend Kelvin as your guide!

A very special mention to our guide, Caxstone, who truly went above and beyond to make our safari memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, warm and genuinely passionate about giving us the best possible experience. He would often suggest starting even an hour earlier, anticipating traffic and making sure we reached the parks at the right time. He also took extra effort throughout the safaris to help us spot all the major highlights and animals we had hoped to see. His patience and determination to make sure we didn’t miss anything were truly appreciated.

Outstanding Safari Experience with Bigmac African Safaris
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Bigmac African Safaris and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Kenya.
Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 children, and from the very beginning everything was handled professionally. We were met at the airport right on time, and our driver and guide, John, helped us with our luggage and immediately made us feel welcome.
John was with us throughout our 6-night safari and driving tour, and he truly made the trip memorable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and always positive. He shared interesting information about Kenya and the wildlife, kept us entertained with jokes, took photos for us, and was always happy to help with anything we needed. His experience and enthusiasm added so much to our adventure.
The 7-seater Land Cruiser was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with comfortable seats, functioning seatbelts, mobile charging, and clean windows that provided excellent views during game drives and transfers. John drove carefully, respected speed limits, and always made us feel completely safe.
During our visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Lake Naivasha National Park, John acted as both driver and guide and gave us several unforgettable wildlife experiences. His knowledge of the animals and the area helped make our safari truly special.
We booked a package that included 3 nights in safari tents/lodges, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We stayed at Maisha Sweetwater Lodge, Serena Sweetwaters Camp, and Naivasha Sopa Lodge, all of which offered a high standard of comfort, impeccable meals, beautiful pools, and incredible opportunities to see wildlife up close. These are experiences we will never forget.
In addition to the safari, Bigmac African Safaris also arranged visits to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi, which were wonderful highlights for both the adults and the children.
A special thank to John for his professionalism, friendliness, and excellent guiding throughout the trip. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience.
We would also like to acknowledge the professionalism of the team at Bigmac African Safaris: Magdalene, Christine, and Mariam who set up the best itinerary for us in Kenya. Thank you, Magdalene, also for the lovely lunch in Nairobi.

Highly committed in every respect.
In July 2026 we spent three weeks on a birding safari in northern and eastern Tanzania with Charles Tours. The trip was very well organized. We didn't have to worry about a thing and could fully concentrate on observing and photographing the diverse and sometimes rare birdlife. Our guides Amani, Novatus and Martin were extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to showing us the best spots. During the drives we also gained insights into the daily lives of the people in Tanzania. We would wholeheartedly recommend this trip to any bird enthusiast.

They picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel, which is very convenient. The guides were very friendly and engaging, answering questions and telling about the gorgeous views. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to view both sides of the Victoria falls!

Incredible experience, fab communication, brill value for money
My brother and I had the most incredible 3-day safari experience with Longway expeditions. The trip was perfectly bespoke to suit our needs and budget, and Anne was incredibly hands-on and responsive to any questions or concerns I had, from the stage of enquiring to even beyond the end of our trip! Anne was reassuring and incredibly patient. She responded to all my messages swiftly, even when they were more related to visiting Tanzania in general as well as specifically about the safari.
There were so many additional little details which really showed the care and thoughtfulness that had been put into the package.
We also booked a day trek to Kilimanjaro national park, which was easily arranged with Longways, and additional details of what to do were made very clear. Transport throughout the whole trip was efficient and felt safe and comfortable.
Our tour guide, Amir, was incredibly knowledgeable. He was passionate about giving us the best experience and that made such a difference to the atmosphere of trip, keeping us excited and engaged the whole time.
The value for money was very very good. All the accommodations we were booked into were very nice and the food provided was also delicious. Dietary requirements were catered to without an issue too.
I would recommend Longway expeditions to everyone.
