High-end, Luxury Safari with Allen!
My wife and I had an incredible Safari experience with Allen. We vetted several different operators and spent quite a bit of time researching - we are so glad we went with Allen. A few things to highlight for others in a similar position:
- High Touch - Allen is a family run operation; other operators were large with separate sales and operations teams. With Allen it was all connected, personalized, and high-touch. Eva from the planning team was able to accommodate all our preferences and needs and everything was seamless.
- Amazing Guides - Ebenezer was simply outstanding. Very knowledgeable and professional. Was always one step ahead of our needs and always was mindful of all of the small things. Was super flexible and made each day the best experience possible. We had a blast with Ebenezer!
- Quality Cars - We initially overestimated this, but the cars make a huge difference. Allen's cars were spacious, had AC, had WiFi, headrests and extra cushion. Makes a big difference given the amount of time you spend in the car.
No Hassle - Allen took care of everything. The flights, the hotels, the balloon ride, food, snacks, etc. Everything we needed was prepared for us!
Overall, we had an incredible experience. If you are seeking a luxury, high quality safari, go with Allen.

Harrison was a very nice, knowledgeable guide
Harrison met us at our hotel and took us on our excursion. Along the way, he explained what we would be seeing in an actual village and gave us commentary as we went around. He was informative, pleasant and humorous when appropriate.

Highlight of my positive review would be when he waited for me at the Vic Falls border on my way from Livingstone on 27/05/2025. We both agreed that I'd be back between 17h30 - 18h00. I got delayed and when I arrived around 7pm, I found him wIting for me. I was close to shedding a tear. Pls consider him a deserved merit award recipient without any shadow of a doubt

My colleague (20 years old) and I (25 years old) booked our trip to Madagascar through "Soul of Madagascar". Our guide Mickael and our driver Ambinintsoa met us at the airport on time and very warmly. They also helped us with our luggage straight away. The tour was perfectly planned from start to finish and ran smoothly. Ambinintsoa was the best driver you could wish for in Madagascar, and our tour guide Mickael was also excellent. He always fulfilled our wishes and even helped me when I fell ill on the tour. I don't take that for granted at all. Mickael's knowledge and language skills are also excellent. He is a very great person. We had a lot of fun together and I'm sad that the trip ended so quickly. Definitely my top destination! I can only recommend Soul of Madagascar!

Great communication, flexible to accommodate our travel plan, super awesome tour guide/driver.
I reached out to several safari companies and ultimately chose Balu Travel - it was a fantastic decision. Morris, the owner, was extremely responsive and communicated clearly throughout the planning process. I requested several hotel options, and he provided the best fit for my preferences. I also asked for a few minor changes to the itinerary, and he accommodated them without any issue.
Our guide and driver for the entire safari was Kesaine, a member of the Maasai tribe - and he was amazing. He shared so much knowledge about Maasai culture, the local tribes, and the wildlife. Kesaine was not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make our experience special. On our very first day in the Maasai Mara, we saw four of the Big Five!
Kesaine took us to remote spots that I doubt many other guides even know about - his deep familiarity with the land, as a Maasai, truly elevated our experience. For our picnic lunch, he brought us to a beautiful, secluded location that felt incredibly special.
I also highly recommend choosing a Land Cruiser over a minivan. There were several moments where we had to cross large puddles or streams, and I don’t think a minivan would have made it through.
Overall, I highly recommend Balu Travel - and if possible, request Kesaine as your guide. You won’t regret it!

Jungle Roam Safaris is an excellent choice for your tour in Kenya! I communicated via email with Vincent and Chesi, who were both extremely responsive and patiently addressed my queries. They also accommodated to my needs and ensured that we were well taken cared of during the tour.
My guide, Dennis, was extremely patient and helped with any difficulties or needs during the 5-day tour. I felt that we were in good hands throughout the time. Thank you for your patience and assistance throughout the 5 days! My friends and I were extremely lucky to have you as our guide!
