Martin was our tour guide and he was amazing. It was our first Safari and all the staff were amazing and helpful. The accommodation is beautiful and food is awesome too. We were unable to see all of the big 5 but Martin made up for it in the way he handled all other animal encounters. I highly recommend for the price and experience

From the very start, the planning process was a true collaboration. We provided our target destinations and budget, and they came back with a thorough first proposal. We then followed up with a Zoom call to fine-tune the itinerary, and they genuinely listened to our wishes. They didn't just give us a cookie-cutter package; they helped us craft a trip that felt perfectly tailored to our family.
The arrangements on the ground were flawless. We asked for a VIP airport pickup service, which they didn't originally offer. However, they went out of their way to source this for us. Even when our arrival flight changed to an earlier time, they immediately re-arranged the pickup without any hassle. I highly recommend this service to future travelers—it saved us so much time getting through customs, which was a blessing after a long journey. The hotels and routes they suggested were excellent. This was our first time visiting East Africa, and we chose Patriot Tours & Safaris Ltd. for our Kilimanjaro trek and river-crossing safari.
From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the team with a wonderful singing performance before starting our Kilimanjaro trek — something we absolutely loved and will always remember. We successfully reached the summit and were fortunate enough to witness a spectacular sunrise at Uhuru Peak. 🌅🏔️
What made the experience truly special was the incredible support from the entire team. The trek often felt like going from “mission impossible to possible,” and we genuinely could not have achieved it without their encouragement, care, and teamwork. Throughout the trek, the guides and crew made us feel like part of a family, and their dedication was one of the highlights of the journey.
It would have been great if we were given a little more time at the summit for photos and selfies, as it is such a once-in-a-lifetime moment and we would have loved a few extra minutes to take it all in.
We started our safari immediately after completing the Kilimanjaro trek, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara National Parks. We absolutely loved the game drives and were incredibly fortunate to witness the river crossings and see the Big Five during our trip. 🦁🐘🦏🐆🐃
We were also very happy with the accommodations arranged by Patriot. Our safari guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to identify and explain the different animals we encountered throughout the trip, including many different bird species. His knowledge really added to the overall safari experience.
One area that could be improved during the safari is the vehicle preparation. On a few occasions, we had to wait for the vehicle to be prepared before heading out. Having the vehicle prepared in advance, either at the end of the previous day or before the start of the next activity, would help make the schedule more seamless.
Overall, this was an unforgettable adventure, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire Patriot Tours & Safaris team for helping us reach Uhuru Peak, tick off our Kilimanjaro, safari, and river-crossing bucket-list experiences, and make our first trip to East Africa so memorable.
