James and Harrison were our drivers for our 10 day journey through the mountain dirt roads of Eburru, the busy and challenging highways across the Great Rift Valley, the city streets of Nairobi and the safari adventures in Nakuru. They were highly knowledgeable of every animal, every question about culture. They were able to answer clearly with an understandable accent, and good English. They had fun personalities and it was easy to talk to them about just about anything. They were always reliable and on time. When I was sick and needed medical attention they immediately went out of their way to get me to the right pharmacy. We will definitely use them again!

Unforgettable First Safari
We just returned from our very first safari experience in Kenya, full of beautiful memories.
After researching several companies, I chose Explorers Wild Adventures for their reviews and fair pricing. I reached out with our preferences, and they customized a 6-day, 5-night itinerary for us (2 nights Masai Mara, 1 night Nakuru, 2 nights Amboseli).
Our accommodations were wonderful. We stayed at the Sopa Lodges in Masai Mara and Nakuru, and the Sentrim Lodge in Amboseli. Sentrim had a true "camp" feel that made us feel right at home in nature.
The absolute highlight of our trip was our guide, Bernard. He was punctual every day, very knowledgeable, and determined to help us spot wildlife. Thanks to him, we learned so much about Kenya too and saw every animal, including cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, lions, and hippos.
My highlights:
- An open-air picnic lunch in the Masai Mara.
- Walking near the river at the Kenya/Tanzania border to see hippos.
- Being the first to spot two lionesses walking right alongside our vehicle.
- Seeing both a cheetah and a leopard on our game drives.
- A guided nature walk in Nakuru, stepping right alongside giraffes and zebras.
We came home with memories from what we thought would be a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip, but we loved it so much, I am sure we will be back to Kenya one day!

One Operator with it All: Knowledge, Experience, Fun
We did a 4-day/ 3-night Skukuza & Lower Sabie tour with Wild Planet in late May/early June.
From planning to execution, Wild Planet delivered a superb experience offering us a tailor-made, iterative experience that combined elements to address our expectations while fine tuning it with their vast experience.
In delivery- the professionalism we experienced during the planning continued.
Our guide (Ryan) was super knowledgeable about the park and its inhabitants which made the experience one of a kind.
Each meal we had was different, well prepared and delicious.
Despite the amount of work and the stress associated with running a whole tour with a million things to plan, our guide did everything seamlessly and remained fun to be around.
Re: animals, having a knowledgeable guide makes a huge difference in the overall experience- and turns it into a fun, adventurous learning experience.
It is always good to keep expectations tempered when it comes to animal sighting because they are not there to entertain us and we are lucky if we get to observe a slice of their lives. We were lucky to see many animals and observe unforgettable moments and our guide’s knowledge made tangible difference.

An absolute five-star experience!!!
This was my first ever all-inclusive organised tour I have ever made.
From the very first inquiry, the team delivered a flawless 5 Star service, especially having to answer all my questions. Communication was quick, effortless, helpful and incredibly reliable from day one. They took over the stress and time which is involved when having to organise all travel arrangements oneself and especially from aboard, their expertise, friendliness and service exceeded our expectations. The lodges that were hand-picked were gorgeous and luxurious and very welcoming, the cycling tour was spectacular, it was exactly what was promised for us.

Nuhu was so good and pleasant
The camp is really amazing with good facilities and quiet ambience inside the forest. Customer service was also good. I feel to find the location it’s a bit tricky so if you can set up sign boards it will be easy. Overall it’s a good place.

Awesome Experience Masai Mara Trip
We visited Masai Mara with Betawild safaris and the experience was awesome! Benson our guide and driver was excellent. We stayed at Enkorok Mara camp and would recommend this place.

An indescribable 2-day/1-night safari
Many thanks to Jessica and Elvis for planning, our guides, who accompanied us during the day and on our night drive. Unfortunately, we didn't see any lions, but we did see all the other animals: elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, warthogs, leopards, wildebeest, water buffalo, antelopes, and more. The lodge where we stayed was fantastic. Everything went smoothly. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
