We had an amazing safari trip with Ian who was our extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide. We managed to see the big 5 and experienced lots of memorable sightings. Communication with the agency was easy. We stayed at the Governors camp which itself felt like a wildlife park and the staff was fantastic. Thank you for organizing a great trip for us!

Excellent planning made for a magical trip
Shemeji Safari organised a private eight-day safari tour in Tanzania (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti) followed up by four days on Zanzibar for our group of four people. It was a magical experience that we thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!
Accommodation: Although we selected medium lodges and tented encampments, the accommodation was of an extremely high standard. We were particularly delighted with our two nights at the new Kogatende lodge and the Lake Manyara Escarpment. The Reef and Beach Resort in Zanzibar also really exceeded our expectations! Staff were friendly and obliging. All lodges were equipped with free water, comfortable beds, good private bathrooms. Food was also good and varied.
Guide and vehicle: Our guide was Emanuel Sheremi and we were very pleased with his services. Knowledgeable about the animals, answered all our questions about the wildlife and Tanzania, good driving skills, willingness to alter start times to suit our needs and a very nice person! Thanks Manu for everything! The vehicle was good; it got us everywhere we needed to go!
Shemeji: Our agent Anastasiia and the rest of the Shemeji team were also very obliging and communicated well. One of our concerns was the fact that some members of our groups were seniors and not very mobile; Anastasiia helped alter the itinerary to best cater for their needs, such as flying to Zanzibar from Seronera rather than Arusha. This helped ensure a much more positive experience for all. Thanks Anastasiia!

Very Efficient Safari
We had a wonderful three-day safari with Beyond the Plains Kenya. Everything was punctual and well organized, and our guide, Douglas, was exceptional. He was an excellent and safe driver, even in Kenya’s chaotic traffic. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and geography made our Masai Mara experience unforgettable. He patiently answered every question, including scientific species names, and helped us capture incredible photos and observations.

Amazing!
Beyond the Plains provided the best possible service on our three day visit to the Masai Mara. Our guide, Douglas Issa, was extremely knowledgeable about the landscape, animals (and their behaviour), and the local people (guides, reserve staff, local Masai people, everyone)! The wildlife at the Mara was unbelievable, as expected, but we also enjoyed spending some time visiting a Masai village. Could not recommend them enough. Their office staff (Fridah) was always in touch, making sure everything went according to plan and that we made it home safely. I was happy to support this Kenyan company and with them the best.

Very helpful organizing
Elly was very helpful getting everything organized for the safari. He dropped me to Arusha and offered to drop me to the airport after I came back but I already had something sorted. He left me know exactly when everything was happening and checked in to see if everything was going smoothly.

We had a good communication when we organized from home. Mary Was kind and give us all the informations we needed and answered vero quickly. They had some problems with organizations because they want to film the jeep and we are a couple. So basically they form the group in the jeep even if you have different plans and accomodation. For this reason they changed a little bit our plan. Aniway everithing went good. Our guide, victor Was really Nice and prepared. The cook , miriam was really Nice and we enjoyed the food and the company. We had a problem with the car but they solved the situation very quickly. We did 4 nights/5 days safari.

Amazing!!
Me and my family were a group
Of 7, we loved our safari day with Daudi!!! He was absolutely amazing, and very knowledgeable. You can tell he loves what he does. We saw all the animals in our safari not one missed! Giraffes, pumbas, wild cats, various bird, lion with lioness, rhino, hippo, zebras, wildebeests etc. recommend this company 100%!!!
